RE: Youngblood or Twink ?
Um, clear as mud.  ;D
eobox, I'll send a few of my neighbourhood youngsters to your place for testing.
Thank you in advance! BTW, I tried to reply to you off-line, but apparently I can only send messages to you if I'm on your "friends list." So perhaps you could friend me. (Sorry to other readers for an off-topic moment.)

RE: Youngblood or Twink ?
Sometimes it isn't clear whether a guy is a youngblood or a twink, so people make their best guess. It's ironic, though, that the category avatar for "Youngblood" shows a couple of guys that I'd probably call twinks.
I volunteer to do a personal inspection of any model to determine if he's a twink or youngbloodÂ

RE: The 100 Point Sexual Purity Test
31% "very kinky" here. That surprised me, as I think of myself as rather vanilla. Then again I've tried a lot of things once.

RE: A redesigned Firefox is coming soon
Netscape with tabs sounds good to meÂ
But wait…on the new Firefox, the tabs are more rounded! And, they will, at times, disappear! Isn't that just amazing and fantastic!?!?!? I just can't wait to download and install this tremendous leap forward in interface design. After all, current web practice (and it would seem, browser design) now emphasizes style over substance, form over content.
Move along, folks, there's nothing to see here….

RE: Same old rubbish
So sick of seeing the same old stuff all the time. Twinks, skaters, surfers, etc. All preened, plucked and shaved.
I agree that most Czech "models" from the last ten years look like clones, and not always attractive ones at that. But there's a lot of diversity on here. You might enjoy Vintage material produced in the US in the late 1980's/early 1990's – the guys still have hair in all the right places.

RE: Advertisements have reappeared
Here's a screenshot of what I see.

I'm still having the same problem (even though I've checked the profile box to not show advertisements). In fact, I get an even more hideous sight–see screenshot below.
Since the profile option isn't working for me, I now use the AdBlockPlus plug-in for my Firefox browser to suppress advertising from the gt.ru domain, and it works perfectly. I'm not cheating the site out of advertising revenue, as I would never click on these ads anyway.

Advertisements have reappeared
Some time back I donated to the site, and the banner advertisements went away (after I set my profile to hide them). Now, they show up again–sometimes showing straight content. (I respect everyone's preferences, but I don't really want to see female genitalia.)
Did the policy on suppressing advertisements change? I can understand that perhaps I should be more current in my support of the site. At the very least, perhaps advertisements could be tagged as gay/bi/straight, and users could opt-out/in for specific content. An ad for a straight porn site isn't going to get a click from me.
Best wishes to all!

RE: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
I had about a dozen torrents seeding, and then over the last day every one eventually stopped seeding and showed ""No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it" as tracker status in my client (uTorrent 3.2.3 under Windows XP). I read this, and many other, help threads, checked my hosts file (everything was fine), looked into resetting my passkey, etc., etc., etc.
Then, I decided to just close my uTorrent client and then restart it. Now everything is fine. So, if you have this problem, try the simple stuff first. I need to remember that myself…

RE: I WANT TO LIVE HERE…....
Then there is this charming village in northwest Austria, which has its road signs stolen more often than any other place.
(The sign under the town name warns drivers that children are present and that they should slow down…literally, "please, not so fast.")

RE: Age Gaps
I think that it's all about how you see them. Do you see them as an equal, or see them as being younger or older.
I think brother Quiquito has nailed it, so to speak: Age isn't important if the two guys consider themselves equal in the relationship. My last partner was 23 when we met; I was 38. But we respected each other as equals, and even though I was in a more comfortable financial position, we kept that equal as well. It was a fine and beautiful situation.
I might add that "age gaps in relationships," is quite distinct from age gaps for random, probably one-off, sexual encounters. I am flabbergasted by the number of 18-20 year olds who pursue me (I turn 45 tomorrow) with great vigour–they want to "learn" about sex and gay life, both in the theoretical and practical sense. I'm not averse to a romp with a young fellow (as long as he's legal), but with most of them, I have so little in common. I can enjoy an hour or two of sex, but a weekend in my mountain cabin? Perish the thought!

Peek-a-boo
I'm not sure this is the right place to post these pics…but the guys seem youngblood-ish, and a sneak peek is always enjoyable!

RE: How To: Search For a Duplicate Torrent Before Uploading a New Torrent
Some videos are released under multiple names. I suggest checking hXXp://www.wtule.net/Intro and seeing what other names your video might have, and check to see if it's already here under a different name.
The website I mentioned previously is now located at hXXp://www.gayeroticvideoindex.com/ – it's the same information, just a different address and a different look.

RE: Me :)
First time I'm uploading cock pics of myself online. Would love to know what you think and get some feedback.
Very nice! As for feedback, you can certainly feed me…I would be happy to exchange seed bonus for your seedÂ

RE: Thierry Pepin
the fact that he's a popular model now gives the scene the charm of a forbidden personality. Like spying a greek god, someone who "made it" and then denied it.
I'd like to hear what you think about it.I think this is primary appeal of the scene–the fact that it was made, produced, and then vigourously suppressed. (From a sheer gay porn perspective, it's an average scene at best, probably filmed by an independent director and then sold to Clair Production.)
It is also worth noting that there appears to be a double standard here: Sylvester Stallone made straight porn films before his "legitimate" acting career, and that didn't prevent him from having a very successful mainline film career. Had those been gay films, I doubt that he would have been as successful--or had any future at all. I think this is an obvious manifestation of homophobia.
Pepin (or, most likely, his agent) made a business decision that it would be harmful to his career to have the porn material made public. While one avenue could have been to propose a cash settlement to Clair Production (i.e., pay them off to not distribute the scene), the underage argument is much more effective in suppressing any material that leaks out to third parties, such as websites or file-sharing networks.
The question then arises whether someone's appearance in an all-male porn implies anything about their sexuality. While it's true that there are many "gay for pay" actors, Pepin seemed to be taking definite pleasure in the male-male sex in that scene, and it also didn't seem like it was his first time, either. While many, if not most, male models in the print media (fashion, fragrance, etc.) are indeed gay, they don't want that known because it can be damaging to their career. This is partially homophobia, but also it can make the male model less appealing to a female audience.
One final comment about his age during the shoot (double entendre intended!): I have at times taught at the secondary school and university levels, with students aged 14 to 25+. I have learned that it's very difficult to determine someone's age by looking at them. While I would estimate Pepin's age in the scene at 20-ish, I also know that my estimations are potentially quite wrong. Having said that, though, I feel comfortable with the calculations proposed in my earlier post, and thus I'm comfortable keeping the downloaded scene on my computer. If I were presented with a strong case that he was in fact underage, I would delete the material immediately. (Given the age ambiguity, though, I will not redistribute the material, nor even show it to others.)
This has been in intriguing series of events.

RE: Thierry Pepin
Dear all,
I just got the deleted scene from Minets du Quebec featuring Thierry Pepin. As far as you know are there any particular reasons I shouldn't post it? I will be happy to share it.Please, just give me a tip.
Unfortunately, this torrent was deleted earlier today with the reason given that Pepin was underage when the scene was shot. I don't believe that was the case, but it's a complicated situation. Here are the issues as I see them:
Age of the the model:
According to any biographies of Pepin that list a birth date, he was born in 1981 in Montreal; I don't know what specific date. Minets du Quebec was released by Clair Production in 2001; again, I don't know what specific date. Putting these together, even if Pepin were born 31st December 1981 and the film was released on 1st January 2001, it would mean that Clair Production took over one year to do editing, post-production, and pre-marketing for the film. The porn industry doesn't sit on things that long. Therefore, I don't think Pepin was underage when the scene was shot.Pepin's new career:
Clair Production promotes Minets du Quebec as a film that features "very well gifted boys we have found in a haphazard way in Quebec…met in streets or in bars." Pepin was most likely found in a bar, asked to do a porn scene for money, and perhaps after a few drinks the 18-19 year old guy figured that an on-screen fuck was certainly worth a couple thousand dollars. Soon, though, he embarked on a "legitimate" modelling career, and also was featured in the film Danny in the Sky (formerly available on this site, but now dead and removed). As his new career began to take off (especially with contracts to model for Ralph Lauren) he saw his one-night porn job to be a liability. His attorneys originally approached Clair Production with the argument that he had not signed all the appropriate releases to appear in a porn film. When Clair produced those, Pepin's attorneys then made the argument that he was underage at the time. A large production company like Clair would certainly have checked ID's before shooting (or buying) a scene, so the question arises whether Pepin had a fake ID (hardly a rare phenomenon!) to be able to get into a bar. This is of course possible, but from the timeline above, it's just not likely that he was underage. Nevertheless, Clair quite understandably didn't want any suspicion of promoting underage material, and it purged the scene from the film.Purging the record:
It appears that some copies of Minets du Quebec were shipped that included Pepin's scene–or maybe a technician leaked the clip. Bits of the scene and screen grabs began showing up on various blogs and other websites, and Pepin's attorneys/agents went to work getting the material removed everywhere it showed up, using the underage argument. I don't know whether they produced any documentation to this effect, but given the seriousness of using underage models, people complied with the request, and a web search to find the "deleted scene" or even screen grabs from it will be futile. Doing a Google Image search on "Thierry Pepin" will turn up a couple of face-only pictures of Pepin from the purged scene, but they're not identified as being from the film and have escaped removal threats (or were posted recently; see below).Epilogue:
At this point (2010), Pepin's modelling career appears to be over. At 29, he's too old for the jobs he once had, but I'm sure he's still quite attractive. I have read on a couple of blogs that he is now available for "personal services and companionship" through the rentboy.com website, but I can't verify that. I saw his film Danny in the Sky some time back, and I seem to recall one quick full frontal shot, showing a nice, uncut tool. His ass is shown in several scenes, and it's quite nice.Final disclaimer:
1)Â I wish I could provide references for the statements I make above, but I did this searching quite a while back and can't reconstruct my sources.
2) I did download the deleted scene via this site a few days ago, and I plan to keep it on my hard drive because I'm convinced that he was not underage at the time of production. I can, however, understand GT.ru's desire to be extremely careful about what content is available here, and taking down the torrent was probably a reasonable call.Â
3) I know that I am verbose. One of these decades I will learn to be more succinct, maybe. -
RE: Malawi pardons jailed gay couple
How can anyone be President of a country and not know that there are laws against an entire segment of the country's population?
Are Malawians that closed off from the rest of the world that they have no idea what being gays is?
President Bingu is aware of the laws, but like most people in Malawi, he's not aware that there is an LGBT segment of his population. The few senior officials/lawmakers with whom I spoke on this topic said, "it's not an issue here–perhaps in prisons or in military barracks--but not in the general population." That is, of course, incorrect, confusing behaviour with orientation. Change will only come when sexual minorities become more visible, and the courageous gay couple announcing their engagement is part of that movement. It is not unlike the way things were in Europe or the Americas 100 years ago.
Please don't misunderstand me--I want to see full equality for LGBT people in Malawi (and everywhere else), but it's unfortunately going to be a while before that happens.
As for the Malawi people being cut off from the rest of the world, I would suggest that it might be the other way 'round: The rest of the world is cut off from Malawi. It would be interesting to query people in major cities in the Americas and Europe, showing them an otherwise blank outline map of Africa, and ask them "which of these countries is Malawi?" I think less than 1% could answer correctly.
As an aside, I really appreciate the respectful, illuminating online forum discussions that we have at gt.ru. They are, in general, so much more civilised than what one finds on most blogs or other electronic graffiti walls.
