This is how I look at it, too. Hookups ought to be about fulfilling personal preference, not anything meaningful (kinda why I don't like them). Frankly, I will fuck most guys. I don't have any racial preference for what amounts to one evening of glorified masturbation. But I fail to see why it's an issue if anyone does have a preference for something so insignificant. They're just trying to briefly fulfill some fantasy, not affirm other people or build a meaningful relationship. So what if that fantasy only involves a certain race or "type" of person? Too bad. Get over yourself.

Hookups and "dates" are two very different things in my mind, though. I don't think of a date as a long-winded form of foreplay leading up to sex. I look at it as a chance to get to know someone. Not necessarily with sexual or romantic intentions, but to see where things go with a new person. Maybe they will lead to sex and/or romance. Maybe you'll just be platonic friends. if you're unwilling to go on a date with someone based on race, that seems quite racist to me, given my definition of dating.

I think, if you develop romantic feelings for someone who doesn't fit your preferences, and those preferences are the only thing stopping you from being being involved with them, then, yeah, that seems racist, too. At best, it seems incredibly shallow.

Can't say that I would. I don't have any issues if other people do it (unless it means giving money to sex traffickers), but it's not for me at all.

I've never wanted or "had to" to pay for sex. And that's not even to insinuate that people who pick up prostitutes can't get laid (I know that's just a "kink" for a lot of people, not necessarily a last resort). I just don't have a strong enough appetite for sex to go that route, or even to "hook up" with random people unless someone I happen to meet in real life initiates the encounter.

I guess I'm weird. I'm certainly not asexual, or even "sex-negative". I just don't seem to need sex the way a lot of people do. I enjoy it, but I never feel compelled to go looking for it.

Well, not to be rude, but no shit. I didn't think I'd need to explain that was meant ironically, given the overall tone of my previous post. But yes, I was using the word "positive" ironically. Maybe I should have used more scare quotes. I dunno.

And most of us in the US are just as puzzled as you are.

I really dislike both candidates. A lot. I don't feel comfortable saying I "prefer" one over the other. I'm not even willing to get into the many different reasons why I dislike them. Debating over two people I already dislike seems pointless, especially when it comes to talking about them to people who've already made their minds up one way or the other and shut the door on dissenting opinions. That seems to be what partisan politics are all about these days.

One positive I can offer about Trump specifically is that I think he will most likely be a lame duck president. I get the feeling he won't be able to accomplish any of his more ridiculous proposals, or will at least be forced to compromise on them. That's my big "hope" for a Donald Trump presidency.

I think you just answered your own question. As an uncircumcised person in the US, I am so glad to be that way. I admit, I was incredibly self-conscious (read: ignorant. "Everyone but me is circumcised! I'm such a freak!") about it when I was younger, but I grew out of that entirely.

I would say skins (the boots and braces variety) are kind of "normal". It's definitely a distinct scene/style, but still pretty "conservative", "blue collar", "working class", etc.

At any rate, I do like that look. Tight jeans, boots and a close-cropped "basic" hairstyle or buzzed/shaved head are attractive/sexy to me. I think the one thing I don't particularly like is over styled and over processed hair. Paradoxically enough, though, I do kind of like things like flat mohawks, or even rat tails (think Darby Crash, not Shia LaBeouf) and mullets. I think they are all cool in an old school metal/punk way. It really depends on how it's done. I think the guys in Amebix looked pretty fucking sharp back in the day, for example:

Personally, I generally dress in nothing but t-shirts, black jeans and work boots. I might put on a black/navy/olive drab polo or button-down shirt if I want to look "dressy" without feeling too unlike myself, but that's about it for "everyday" styles. I do have a couple of cut-off vests with patches on them, but I only wear them at shows and when hanging out with friends. At the end of the day, any style or appearance is fine with me as long as I like the individual. I honestly wouldn't care if they dressed in drag half the time if I liked their personality.

Honestly, I doubt it. It might be theoretically possible, but not realistically so without doing it pretty much constantly. Also, there's no telling what that could do to the functionality of your penis. I remember seeing an old documentary on TV as a kid about Indian nanga babas or something (closet thing I could find with google) who would stretch their dicks and literally roll them up in sticks and stretch them around large stones they'd then swing swing from their dicks (that's how I remember it, anyway). At any rate, the best thing you can do is to learn to be happy with what you've got. Size really isn't everything in terms of sex appeal, at least for most people. Confidence alone can add a couple of inches. Guys with "small" cocks who are confident and willing to take charge (as opposed to acting like insecure macho douchebags) are pretty hot, honestly.

I can't really see that happening, but as long as my face wasn't visible, I would not be too mortified. Hell, I'd probably be kind of flattered. ;D
