    • RE: Riskiest place you had sex at?

That's easy - I fucked Price Charming (OK, the guy who played him in the Main Street Electrical Parade) in the bushes on the side of Cinderella's Castle!

Yes, that's the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World in Orlando (the castle in Disneyland in CA is Sleeping Beauty's Castle!)

We dated for about 9 months after we met at Gay Days one June and my BF cheated on me one too many times, so we broke up...

The sex was HOT! All the driving to/from Orlando from my home in Satellite Beach was NOT!

    • Democrat NY Gov Cuomo under increasing pressure to resign

So it's been all over the news, but nary a peep from @raphjd about NY Gov (and all around sleaze-bag) Andrew Cuomo under increasing pressure to call it quits while facing an ever-growing array of women coming forward telling how uncomfortable the Gov made them feel, groping some, and generally being a sleazebag to all...

This guy is a Clinton-era hold-over, who, like Clinton, thinks that being a man "in power" gives him the right to proposition, grope, fondle, and otherwise ABUSE is position and power against women in his employ... It was wrong then (and got Clinton impeached, if not removed from office), and it's sure as hell still wrong 25 years later!

So why isn't @raphjd screaming for his head?

Simple - it's the MSM and (fellow) Democrats who are pressuring Cuomo to step aside! Republicans don't need to say anything, or exert any pressure... the Dems are doing it themselves! But does that make this any less of a political shit-show for the Dems? I should hope not!

Hmmm... my fellow Republicans might learn something here... Mr. "Grab 'em by the pussy" Trump couldn't be held to even the BASEST of standards by his sycophantic Republican party 5 years ago...

Maybe that explains the silence from the normally verbose and easily outraged Trumpsters... it hits a little TOO CLOSE TO HOME...

6-months ago, Dems were looking at Cuomo as a 2024 Presidential contender... now, he's a 2022 non-contender for re-election, and they want him gone altogether... tomorrow isn't soon enough!

Mind you, with the Dems now in power, the MSM will be investigating THEIR every move, every mis-spoken word, every mis-step...

It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of misguided hippie freaks! πŸ™‚

I know @raphjd thinks ONLY Fox not-quite-the- News can report honestly on these things... but I think the MSM has Cuomo pretty much nailed here... of course, he has the example of the Great Dumpster to follow: never admit fault, never resign, claim innocence throughout, call it a witch-hunt, and hold on to the bitter, oh-so-bitter end!

    • RE: Problems with dynamic local IP

@bobi1990 said in Problems with dynamic local IP:

Recently I've bought a WiFi to Ethernet bridge dongle. I made it to work, connection is good, speed is good, no complaints. However, I now have a problem with my forwarded ports.

I forwarded ports so Deluge would communicate with the GT servers successfully in the past. But now it seems my local IP address is changing every couple of hours, or even less. So my file sharing stops working all the time and I have to go into the router's settings and port forward a new rule with the new local IP. It's a pain, and I'm not around the computer all the time, so it really is a problem.

Do any of you guys know how I can somehow fix this? Like, make my local IP fixed and not dynamic or something?

(Sorry if the terms I used weren't correct)

You have 2 options, depending on how technically competent you are:

      • You can login on your router, and if it's supported in your router, you can make your system have a "reserved" IP address. This way, whenever your system asks for an IP address, the router will ALWAYS assign the same one.
      • You can open the network settings on your PC (I would NOT do this on a laptop!) by using the ncpa.cpl command
o right-click the Ethernet (or wireless) adapter you're using and select Properties
o Select (being careful to NOT un-check the box for) Internet Protocol Version 4 (TC/IPv4) and again click Properties
o Change the IP address and DNS settings to the correct values
NOTE: You can obtain your current values by issuing the DOS command ipconfig /all at a command prompt, or using the status option on your adapter up at the first step....
o Be careful - get something wrong here, and you'll be offline in a jiffy!

If I had to offer a preference, I would STRONGLY prefer the router-based "reserved" IP address... different routers may call it other names, and some cheap consumer routers don't offer it at all... dig into the manual for your router to find out...

      Good luck!

@smokpl said in Max Upload torrents:

This is the first time I see a message that my ratio is too high and I am sharing too many torrents (max 15). Where can I read about this principle. I'm using Deluge. Need to pause / delete old torrents that I used to download and now share?

This is indeed a setting on YOUR end (on your client), not on the tracker.
I currently seed (when my VM is up - right now my hosting provider is down GRRRR) about 70 torrents... but my systems are virtual, in the cloud (with extremely high bandwidth), are dedicated to seeding/leeching torrents, and are Linux based (no artificial limits on TCP connections like Windoze)....

    • RE: Programming Technical Interview Without Technical Questions Asked

@kekkaishi said in Programming Technical Interview Without Technical Questions Asked:

I am a SF developer with 3 years of experience. Recently I've had a "technical" interview which took approximately an hour long, yet no actual technical questions were asked to test my knowledge, but I was asked generally about my technical experience. At the end, I wasn't even given an assignment which you usually get.

      For example:
I was asked what frameworks and technologies I used
I wasn't asked technical questions like: what is the limit for SOQL queries in triggers

What does it say that I wasn't asked any technical question, and yet the interview went about an hour long?.

IMO, this isn't a good sign at all

That all depends on the tech-level of the position you were interviewing for! If you're interviewing to LEAD a group of developers, it's important that you know the tools and the skills of the people you're leading, but far less important that you know all the little details (that's for your future reports to know).

Also, often, potential employers want to know the kinds of environments and frameworks you have experience in - because they know their actual application is so unique, they'll never find someone with the EXACT skills needed... so they KNOW they have to train you for their unique environment - but they want to have a good idea where they'll have to start.

When I interview potential SysAdmins or Configuration Managers, I want to know if they have any background working with infuriating clients (like our government clients), or have experience in a DevOps environment (which we are still transitioning into), or have experience in automation tools.... we don't care which tools you used in the past, once you've learned one set, learning another interface isn't the hard part - you already have the mindset!

      Good luck!

Do you like cumming on your face? πŸ™‚

I have BEEN sucked (not to orgasm) while I was on a video call... but I've not been the one sucking...

"Do you like cumming on your face?" - I can read that 2 ways:

      • As a much younger man I could autofellate (self-suck myself) - and I very much liked cumming in my own mouth, and would occasionally cum on my own face (though those were accidents)...
      • As I can no longer autofellate (too much beer-belly!), the question would be do I like it when OTHERS cum on my face - and the answer there is the same as when it was my own cum: I don't mind if its accidental, but I'd much MUCH prefer it in my mouth!
      • YES, I swallow - my own, or my partner's cum! Fresh, hot cum is a delicacy!

Do you prefer to bottom face-up (missionary) or face-down (doggy-style - either knees up or knees down...)??

Experts don't always tell the truth. They can be following an agenda or they could be simply wrong.

Like with the Russia hoax, they said one thing one MSM and completely the opposite in Shifty Schiff's (formerly) secret hearings in the bunker. Hell, even Shifty Schiff lied, claiming he had absolute proof that Trump colluded with Russia, but still hasn't provided anything.

Tucker hasn't faked having C-19 or any of the crap CNN has done. Tucker hasn't claimed that it's a federal felony to read Wiki-Leaks like CNN, MSNBC, and the rest.

You can verify that Tucker is telling the truth, by reading the transcripts yourself.

MSM wants to lie to you claiming that Tucker is a liar, but you can't verify it for yourself, just believe.

I hope your beloved Tucker (and remember, he's not a NEWS guy on Fox News, he's an OPINION guy on Fox News - even Fox News doesn't fact-check him! LOL) can take the heat -- seems he stuck his foot (and ankle) in his mouth claiming women (pregnant women, in particular) were a "mockery" of our military force... seems quite a few women service members took umbrage - including some brass... Read more here

for what its worth, no one - not even the exalted, and infallible ME = always tells the truth... we're human, and we all make mistakes. I've made mistakes before (I try to keep it to under 2-3 before 7am each day!)...

But it's like I learned in my MBA program: anyone can manage a successful business when things go well. The TEST of management isn't how things go when they're working RIGHT, it's how things go when everything starts to go WRONG!

On a personal level, it's not whether I'm ever wrong - it's how I handle it when I am wrong...

    • RE: Why saying β€œI don’t see race at all” just makes racism worse

I want to chime in on this discussion - from the perspective of a middle-aged white man who grew up in the US South: my kindergarten class was the FIRST in the State of Florida to be fully integrated (in the 1960s). I attended a good Southern college (where there were very few black students, in spite of being in a city that was majority black). I worked for tech companies with few, if any black tech employees.

I considered myself well educated, open-minded, and definitely NOT a racist... but I also didn't think MY upbringing had been particularly benefited by any racial bias... the other kids in my kindergarten class had all the same opportunities I did, right?

I was in my late 40's before my eyes were opened.

I fell in love with a black man: David.

David was attending a party I was invited to... we were introduced briefly, but didn't otherwise talk. I had my eye on another guy - white, successful, around my age.... unlike David: he was "in my league"...

I got a call a couple of days after the party - the guy said he was David, we met at the party, and he wanted to have dinner. I thought it was "my guy"... not the tall, lanky, BEAUTIFUL black guy who I thought was COMPLETELY out of my league... Thinking I was meeting the other guy, we made plans, I dressed well, and hoped for the best.

David walked in and I thought it was a joke or a mistake. He was gorgeous, and sexy as hell... not the kind of guy interested in a 49 y/o dad. I couldn't have been more wrong! David LOVED the fact that I had adopted so many kids and was raising them myself. David LOVED the fact that I worked from home so I could be there for my kids. David LOVED the story I had related about my standing up for one of my kids at his middle school and essentially costing the Vice Principal her job because of how she treated my autistic son.... and I loved David's dry sense of humor, his ability to find the good in almost everything, and his boundless energy and playfulness. He challenged my intellectually - but more importantly for me - he challenged me emotionally. He could read me like a book - a CHILDREN'S book! LOL

Skip ahead a year and a half - David was living with me and my kids, but we hadn't really described our relationship to the kids yet... he slept in my room, but the kids only ever saw him asleep on the chaise lounge sofa at the foot of my bed... we were being discrete πŸ™‚ But it was also Valentines Day... one of my 12 y/o daughters came home from school and was giddy with joy: it was her first valentines day with a real boyfriend!

David nonchalantly told her HE was happy to have a boyfriend this year, too! My daughter asked him "really? who?" and he calmly said "Your Dad, silly!"... My daughter was dumbstruck (I have it on video - we have security cameras throughout all of the public areas of the house!)... then she hugged him and said "that means you are kinda like my dad, too!" (that really touched David... those two had a special bond up until David's untimely death in 2017).

So it all sounds idyllic... except that, with David by my side we routinely were presented with odd obstacles...

Case in point: it was December, 2016 and both David and my birthdays (two Sagittarians! it was HOT!)... we planned to have dinner at a nice restaurant downtown. We both dressed well. I drove, and dropped David off in front of the restaurant while I parked. We had a reservation, but this was a popular place.

I walked to the front door, and David was out front - clearly unhappy. It seems they didn't have the reservation after all! I went inside and gave the maitre'd my name and he immediately said my table was ready! David had given him my name too, but when that name belonged to a black man, it didn't exist. When it belonged to a white man, there was nothing wrong with it. The maitre'd went pale when I went out and came back in with David - and after a frank discussion with he and the manager, we chose NOT to eat there after all... but that was just ONE example of many where things were VERY DIFFERENT when comparing how I was treated alone, and when I was in the company of a black man.

Most horribly, in September, 2017 David had chest pains and had difficulty breathing... so we went to the ER. He was seen, they took x-rays, they gave him some pain relievers and sent him home.

24-hours later, he was REALLY having trouble breathing, and the chest pains were becoming debilitating... so we went back to the ER. They took another set of x-rays and they said he had "mild pneumonia" - they gave him MORE pain relievers and antibiotics, and sent him home yet again... this time with instructions not to come back for at least 48-hours.

24 hours later, David was unable to walk and still couldn't breathe... we went back to the ER a 3rd time (in just 3 days!) and THIS time, they finally admitted him. The MOMENT we showed up in the ward upstairs, the floor nurse ordered a MRSA test. Sure enough, David had had a MRSA infection all this time (Google it - you don't want one!), and now it had become septic (in his blood) and his lungs were quickly filling with fluid.

24 hours later, David was intubated and sedated. He never regained full consciousness, although it DID take him a little more than 30 days to die.

As painful as all of that was (I spent every night at his side), the real crushing blow came when that same hospital was investigated for the pattern of turning away black patients when white ones were admitted with the same symptoms. (Lots more detail there, but you won't be interested in that... I'm already too wordy when I write! LOL)

I have no proof, just a pattern. And since we weren't yet married and David was over 25, according to attorneys that his family and I spoke to, we had no standing to sue anyways.

But in my heart, I believe firmly that, even though the ER physicians may not have KNOWINGLY done so, their racial bias cost David his life, me the love of my life, and my kids an adoring father-like figure who meant the world to them.

Both articles say basically the same thing.
They claim that everyone should not do their own research because there are so many lies on the internet. You should just trust what liberal MSM tells you and ignore everything else.

So the answer is that you didn't read them. If you had, then you would know that the point each was making is that people thinking that they somehow have as much skill, education, and training to come to a correct conclusion as a professional expert (i.e., a scientist or specialist) is a potentially dangerous thing. It's why misinformation and hokum gets spread on the Internet.

Basically, an ordinary person doesn't take a premise, objectively analyze every side of that premise, and then come to a conclusion based on all available evidence. What people do is form an opinion about the truth or falseness of a premise, and then collect evidence to support that opinion while discounting evidence that is contrary.

And neither article instructs the reader to blindly believe the MSM.

I will also point out that, for as much as you criticize people for blindly believing the MSM, you wasted no time blinding believing the MSM. I hate to break it to you, but Tucker Carlson is part of the MSM. So is the rest of FOX News.

The DIFFERENCE is that Fox News - mainstream though it may be - supports his political beliefs... and that makes THEM the good guys... and everyone else the BAD guys...

Both articles say basically the same thing.

They claim that everyone should not do their own research because there are so many lies on the internet. You should just trust what liberal MSM tells you and ignore everything else.

This would be the same MSM that faked a protest in London, faked Chris Cuomo having C-19, rented a hospital room to fake another person having C-19, that lied about Russian collusion for 4 years, that lied and said it was a felony to read Wiki-Leaks and that you could only get the info through MSM, lied about Hunter Biden's laptop and countless other lies and fuckeries.

Wait, wait.... so you should do your OWN research to prove the MSM is faking stories, but you should believe QAnon conspiracy theories because some anonymous nut-job tells you so? OH! But your research is that lots of other idiots read the same QAnon posts and THEY believe it, so it's true!

Right - and Trump actually WON the popular vote in both 2020 AND 2016! And the moon landing was MSM nonsense! Meant to ensure Kennedy would get re-elected! Yeah - THAT'S the ticket!

      • Russian interference in our 2016 (and 2020) elections was REAL... the level of cooperation between the Russians and the Trump campaign was overblown for political purposes, but it DID happen, it DID exist, and the evidence is there... FACTS!
      • COVID-19 isn't fake - FACTS!
      • I've never heard anyone else claim that Chris Cuomo's COVID-19 infection was faked... that's a stretch, but certainly sounds Q-ish... and it also screams of the same BULLSHIT that Piers Morgan was spewing that he didn't believe Meghan Markle considered suicide while pregnant with Archie... NO FACTS HERE!
      • Some of what WikiLeaks has "published" have been classified as "TOP SECRET" - and the labels were left on the documents when they were "published" - and if you knowingly read TOP SECRET documents that you know you are not authorized to read, then you ARE guilty of a felony! That's just the law about Government documents! DUH!
NOTE: Reporters HAVE been prosecuted - MSM reporters! - and jailed for publishing TOP SECRET documents, or leaking TOP SECRET information to the public... FACTS!
      • Trumpsters (rhymes with Dumpsters for a reason) like to talk about witch-hunts. A witch-hunt is when you go looking for something, and when it's not there, you keep looking! Some (not all) of Trump's investigations were, indeed, witch-hunts... but this Hunter Biden thing is one too... it's been investigated by 3 different countries, and more than 10 different agencies... there's nothing there! You were lied to and duped.... sorry, but.... FACTS!

Now before you go calling me a Liberal, let me say that all these folks so anxious to get "free money" from the federal government (the COVID-19 stimulus plan)... we've injected SO MUCH CASH ($5.5 TRILLION!) into our economy in the past 12-months, there can be no reason to NOT expect inflation to take hold soon... potentially SERIOUS inflation!

The Government REALLY DOES just print more money when they need it, but doing so without raising enough from taxes leads to a reduced "trust" in our monetary system, and leads to a glut of cash - thus, inflation.

I am a QAnon hating, never-fall-for-the-same-Trump-again, fiscal conservative, social libertarian... and I don't believe in liberal fairy tales any more than any other good Republican.... but I also don't believe in the Q-anon ghost stories!

      I've fallen behind:

      • Not only have I fucked in front of people (live and on video), I did 2 porn videos when I was 19! (Thankfully, those were VHS days, and while I routinely look, I've never found them on the Internet!)... but fucking live, on a stage in a gay bar at a gay resort was an extreme high! πŸ™‚

      • I've had many "multi-person" sexual encounters, though none in the past 5 years or so... (volunteers?).. MMF, MFF, MMM, etc...
      • I have only been in 2 relationships simultaneously once - when I was in college and coming out of a 2+ year self-imposed period of abstinence. It was a violation of my own moral code and I regret it, though no one was hurt (no one found out)
      • I strongly prefer being in a relationship - and I have no trouble being monogamous... but I also hookup (my ex-fiance - this one a man - died a little over 3 years ago... and a man has needs!!)
      • My ex-fiance and I used to fuck before "sexy" guests would come over.. my BF was sometimes jealous, and he thought that, by having had sex once in the evening already, I wouldn't / couldn't be tempted to have sex with someone else... he was wrong on 2 counts: a) I'm multi-orgasmic and my libido is seldom affected by an orgasm; and b) I'd have never EVER cheated on him... I cherished and adored him... (and I miss him still - talk to his picture in my bathroom nearly every morning!)

@raphjd said in Samuel Paty assassinated based on a schoolgirl's lies:

French school teacher, Samuel Paty, was assassinated based on the lies of a schoolgirl who didn't want to get in trouble for skipping school.

The unnamed schoolgirl (might be named somewhere) got suspended from school for being truant. She told her father that she was suspended because she objected to one of her teachers showing pictures of Mohamed. As the story got spread around, she claimed that some of the pictures were of a naked Mohamed.

Her father went looking for someone (a young male with no family to worry about) to carry out the assassination.

The rest of the story is pretty well known.

It's amazing how many lies are told, which end up with innocent people suffering. Just because someone didn't want to get in trouble.

Tawana Brawley was the first case that made international news that I remember. She, her mom, and Al Sharpton concocted the story that she was late coming home was because she was gang-raped by a bunch of white NYC cops, who not only raped her but scrawled "nigger" on her tits with dog shit. She was actually out partying and getting fucked by her boyfriend. She didn't want her dad to get mad at her.

People can be awful to each other... at our BASE-est, humans are selfish, cruel, and generally uncaring... it is our SOCIAL CONSTRUCTS that teach us otherwise!

Those social constructs aren't perfect - and they change over time (remember that 200 years ago, blacks were ASSUMED to be slaves in the American social environment)... but they ARE the foundation on which we build and advance our species...

But there are some who CANNOT learn and who CANNOT control those base instincts... we call them sociopaths, and while not all of them are dangerous (people learn to "fake it" as children), they ARE FAR MORE COMMON than you think!

Hahaha, you are right: it's like an interview πŸ˜‰

My boyfriend and I normally use lube called "Lubrifist". We have used it for years and we both like it.

Have you ever fucked (or being fucked) without cleaning yourself (or the other guy) inside? Yes or not?

Oh ABSOLUTELY! My ex and I were very spontaneous! If we encountered a little "dirt" (and since I was usually the top, I was usually the one to encounter it!), so be it!

I will say that the SMELL that accompanies such an occurrence is very off-putting, and it will truly KILL my erection... but that's just a "cost of doing business" πŸ™‚

BTW: My favorite lube is called Liquid Silk... but it's very hard to get (again) in the US. 😞 And hard-to-get means expensive! 😞

IF you were going to have "public" sex, would you prefer it to be DIGITAL (live-stream kind of thing) or PERSONAL (in front of others who are right there with you)?

Online dating showed that women choose 20% of men, while men choose 80% of women.

Unsurprising for the US (almost all of Western?) Culture:

      • man are taught by our society to be the "aggressor" in relationships - men look for mates...
      • women are taught by our society to be "passive" - women look to be woo'ed by potential mates...

This is also why gay MEN usually are so much more promiscuous than gay WOMEN! They are both the woo-er and the woo-ee on the dating sites, so even when they start a relationship, they are continually "found" by other men still looking...

      The wolf/sheep metaphor works...

      • when wolves (men) are seeking their "prey" (women/sheep) and that prey looks to generally avoid being eaten, there is balance... there is a chasER and a chasEE
      • but when wolves (men) are seeking other wolves (other men also "on the prowl") there is a much MUCH higher likelihood that they'll find what they're looking for!

So, if you're a woman on a dating app, you generally don't HAVE to reach out to males... you just sit back and wait for them to reach out to YOU and have your pick from amongst them! (MUCH MUCH less rejection that way! - at least for the woman!)

Is it fair? Hell no, but LIFE ISN'T FAIR, and it NEVER WILL BE! You cannot "fix" society to make it "fair for everyone" - that is a LIBERAL FANTASY!

That doesn't mean you can't work to make things fairER... but "completely fair" is a fantasy! Unobtainable, and totally different depending upon the eye of the beholder!

I'm sure you can show me the countless magazine covers of fat men with the headline being "fat is beautiful" or "healthy at any size" like we see with fat women.

Well, let's look at how many Celebrity men have plain-jane wives and compare to how many Celebrity women have "plain-joe" husbands!

One is common, the other practically non-existent.

It's been a male-dominated society for 1000's of years... some level of come-uppance is to be expected!

EDIT: just because it's expected, it doesn't make it right!

I'll say again: body shaming ANYONE is wrong!

      Tender ball-play... I love it! πŸ™‚

      Rimming or getting rimmed?

I get the impression we're interviewing each other here πŸ™‚

I prefer doing the rimming... other guys seem to get off on it, I love spit-for-lube and I definitely get off doing the rimming... quite honestly, I'm faking it when I'm being rimmed - it just doesn't do anything for me! I'd rather you licked and played with the insides of my thighs than my hole!

Not so much this or that, but a question nonetheless:

What's your favorite commercial lube (of all time) ???
(commercial: real-cum and spit are not allowed!)
