These terms (as well as the term "bug-chaser") were far more common pre-PrEP. Porn studios today strongly encourage their actors to use (be on) PrEP - not just for their own protection, but also to alleviate "tension" on the set. Mind you, they still test - but when everyone in the scene is on PrEP (which implies being HIV-, and being regularly tested for HIV so that you can remain on PrEP), there is far less "trust" needed...

Because that's exactly what's happening! We're not "selling treasury bonds" to pay for COVID... we're just "printing money!!!" -- and we (Americans) can actually do this (and get away with it) because we're the "default" currency for the rest of the world (technically: the "reserve" currency).
The "concept" of US Government debt comes from a time when our currency and "money supply" were tied to "the Gold Standard" (and GOLD was the world's "Reserve Currency")... today, this ain't that! Back then, the world's economies were a "zero sum game" - for me to make more money, someone had to lose money - because there was a finite amount of gold to go around. There is no reason for that anymore - we can ALL get $1400 in cash, and ALL "win" -- without there being ANY losers, because we (technically, the US Treasury) can LITERALLY just print more money!
One of the first times we "dipped into" the idea of just pumping cash into the economy (with no real "debt" as a result) was the economic crisis that Obama inherited... only thing was, they were dumb enough to think that the "right way" to inject all that cash into the economy was to "give" it to the banks! After all, if you give THEM the money, they'll LEND IT!!! Right? That's what banks do? Lend money? (Edit: I should give credit where it is due: It was George W Bush's administration that thought up of the idea of "quantitative easing" and resolving the banking crisis with a cash injection - Obama inherited the solution! He just had to execute it, and he did that poorly... to be kind to him!)
Nope... and that's why the "economic recovery" under Obama was so unbearably slow... Banks propped up their balance sheets with that cash... bought back stock with that cash... paid HUGE bonuses to their executives with that cash... and loaned VERY LITTLE of that cash!
Trump and the Republicans were far smarter when it became clear that COVID was was CRUSHING our economy in 2020... f**k the banks, give the cash DIRECTLY to the American People! They'll do what the banks didn't: they'll SPEND IT!
Prudent people would pay off their debts (credit cards, back rent)... that's what the "professionals" (the banks) did last time.... but that's not American! No, we BOUGHT SHIT! And it WORKED!
The problem with that formula, though, is that when you put soo much (too much) cash into the economy, there is inflation... keep it up and you can ALSO get yourself back to the 1970's nightmare: stagflation (inflation with a stagnant economy!)
Long story short - we're not borrowing the $2T for COVID relief (or, the $3T for infrastructure, if that passes)... we're just "injecting it" into the economy... in layman's terms: we're just printing money!

If the assault on the cop was 5-years ago (vs FORTY), I would likely be far less keen on believing he was a suitable candidate.
Mind you - I have no idea whether this guy is worthy of the appointment or not - what I'm speaking to is solely the fact that his 40-year-old crime should not, in and of itself, preclude him from serving...
Maybe there are other reasons he's unfit... I don't know...

There is nothing nefarious here - there are 3 kinds of "dash" character in the full, extended ASCII English character set: a "full dash" and "M-dash" and an "N-dash" - and they are each of varying lengths.
In windows, the only real "dash" (on the keyboard) is actually an "N-Dash" (the shortest of the 3) ... other OS's (like MacOS, Linux, and others) aren't so choosy and allow any of them - but, in spite of looking quite similar, they are separate and distinct characters.
The fix is quite easy: right click on the files your client couldn't create and rename the files. To make sure there are no special characters, type in the full name right off of your keyboard.

So, one of the problems with forwarding ports through your router, and seeding "fro home" is that your ISP will sometimes realize you're torrenting on a particular port, and block it. The thing is, often they'll block it ONLY for specific IPs (the trackers).
Now, for "public" torrents, this isn't a problem - people from other trackers will find you! But on PRIVATE torrents, this is a fatal block.
The fix (you say you're using qBittorrent) is to change your port (Options -> Connection -> Listening Port -> click Random to change it!)
Now a couple of things here:
More importantly, this can also be alleviated by using a "smart" VPN. (no, those are not free - but they do prevent your ISP from spying on you, as well as making your torrenting more stable -- assuming you pick the right one!)

Long story short: things are FAR EASIER today for young people, emerging from puberty, and aware that they are gay (or even trans!). But they aren't THAT MUCH easier for the 40 y/o father (or mother) of 4 who finally realizes that his (or her) entire adult life has been an emotional and sexual lie!

To use Relocate in uT, one right-clicks on the individual files (you can do one file, or multiple), choose Relocate, and then you can move it to any drive, and rename it to whatever you want. After that's done, the local uT database maintains the new location of the file(s) as a layer of abstraction, and the torrent remains unchanged. So I can move and rename a file within a torrent to my own preferences, instead of the original torrent creator's, and still continue seeding. Which is why I still have torrents seeding that are 10+ years old, and when you've made extensive use of the feature, you kinda get stuck because unravelling it all would take hundreds of hours.
If you're interested in more details, the abovementioned GitHub issue explains it detail, as well as the various workarounds, and explains why the issue is still open after eight years. To the best of my knowledge, no other client at present has this capability.

To be honest, in part 3 above, you're asking for the amount of metadata to be stored about each client to be increased by an order of magnitude...
I think you summed that up, albeit as an aside, in your response above:
There is no such database in qBitTorrent. The only "listing" in the client is the list of torrents, and the "pointer" to where it is on the filesystem. (Remember, when you rename a folder or file in qBitTorrent - you also modify the name on the storage location [filesystem]... and, quite honestly, that's the way I would want it).
But, to be honest, as a software developer myself: I don't think you'll see that (implementing a database to track each element of each torrent) in any other client... and if you want that much "power and control" over each element in each torrent, then quite honestly, you should PAY for the full uTorrent client IMHO!
Let's not forget we're asking for, and getting, FREE software!

To what some people are claiming about ports and open/forwarding: if you use an advanced server that actually overtly supports p2p (like NordVPN), you don't need to worry about this... they can see the port you advertise in your client, and they will forward it over your VPN link (and yes, that means you DO NOT need to open the port on your local router!)
So I have to post about this - because, contrary to your proposition that if the races were reversed, that the media would have covered it more, I can tell you that this happens far too often - regardless of the races involved, and the media coverage is poor regardless.
... and it NEVER gets the attention that it deserves! And I am sometimes literally brought to tears to hear the stories of some of these poor children... 
You see.... I am an adoptive parent (I adopted 7 - yes, you read that right, SEVEN) children from foster care... and as a result, I served for nearly 20 years on the board of our local foster parents association. I actually have known "offenders" - and their victims - before this kind of tragic event occurred. It never ceases to break my heart to hear just how badly these adults have failed the little children ... these adults weren't coerced or forced to adopt - they volunteered! and then to fail these kids so badly!
There is a new circle of hell for these people... end even that isn't bad enough!
But to the point of your note: these stories are always buried. As a society, we don't like to be reminded of how poorly we treat our "indigent" children.

Glad to hear that the client is improving. What has always stopped me from using qBitorrent is the lack of the relocate feature that uTorrent has. I have moved and renamed the majority of most seeded torrents, and there isn't enough value in trying to workaround that when uT still works.

qBitTorrent has the option to "set location" on any torrent... It can be a little "buggy" if you've changed the file locations "under the covers" - but if you let it do the work, I've even relocated torrents of 50+GB successfully!
There (sadly) isn't a consistent use of terms across clients... That makes helping people really hard sometimes! Still, while the "stalled" label has a negative connotation that utorrent's "idle" does not have, the "stalled" status is for a file that's still downloading, but there are no seeders currently available... to me, that IS a negative condition LOL.
However, when a file is "finished" in qBitTottent its status becomes either "Seeding" or "Completed" - and those make sense to me...
I will repeat: the biggest reason that I, personally, use qBitTorrent is because it's the same on Windows, MacOS, and Linux! For someone (like me) who works on all platforms, that's a really nice thing to have LOL!
Sorry for my delay, but I had something come up and I haven't been online for a while...
So if I'm hearing you right (and that's a stretch LOL), you're not getting me... so, I'm going to provide more detail in the hopes that that you might understand. If I'm wrong, then no real harm - I just wasted a lot of time typing!

So, you create your .torrent file in uTorrent... I'll call it a.torrent (original, no?)... and because you followed directions, you listed the tracker within uTorrent as http://tracker.gaytorrent.ru:2710/announce.
What you probably don't know, is that that URL doesn't actually work! That's actually a string that the tracker software replaces to ensure that your torrent is tracked to your account. This is because this is a PRIVATE torrent tracker! We don't accept torrents from anyone but our members! It is also needed to help manage your upload/download numbers.
So - back to your upload... you have uploaded your "won't-work-like-that" a.torrent file to the tracker... and, along with the other things you included on the upload page, it created a whole web page, just for your torrent! Just one thing though: the a.torrent file you download from that web page IS NOT the same a.torrent file that you uploaded! It's been changed: the tracker entry now is unique to your account (and it will actually work!).
So here we are now: your uTorrent program has your a.torrent "seeding" to a non-existent tracker, nand GT.ru has an a.torrent with no seeders! (If we leave it like this, you get mad because your torrent doesn't seed, and GT.ru staff get mad because your upload has no seeder!)
The fix is the oft-overlooked last step: you need to "scape" your new torrent!
"Scraping" is when you download a torrent for content you already have, generally so that you can begin to seed it immediately (you don't need to download it - you already have it!).
NOTE: This is ALSO how you re-seed a torrent you previously downloaded!
So, when you finished uploading your a.torrent file and page to GT.ru, it took you immediately to that new page - and TOLD YOU that you needed to re-download your torrent! (Technically, as I showed above, you need to scrape your torrent - with the NEW a.torrent file!)
BUT! Before you do! Since you're using uTorrent, you very well MAY ALREADY HAVE a.torrent in your client... seeding with that bogus tracker URL! You need to delete this one (but do NOT delete the content!), and replace it with the one from the new page on GT.ru!
ALSO: When you scrape your new a.torrent file, you will need to tell your uTorrent client WHERE the data file is stored on your computer. It may default to that location, but in most cases not. If you attempt to scrape your new torrent, and instead of "checking" your torrent, you attempt to "dowload" your torrent - then you specified the wrong location. (I do this more often than I care to admit! Just delete the torrent in your client and start the scrape again!)
So EVEN when things work, there may be some glitches... for example: often when I scrape a torrent (I use qBitTorrent, not uTorrent), it won't immediately seed... HOWEVER, if I then ask the client (qBitTorrent for me) to "recheck" the file, it seeds properly.
That's a LOT of detail.... I hope you found it useful
