      Oh, actually I'm using Vivaldi browser - but I have decided to dedicate Opera for porn browsing 😉

      Both Opera and Vivaldi as well as Chrome use Chromium project as browser base with Blink engine (developed by Google & Opera).

      Chromium project is older than Google, but Chrome is the most "popular" of Chromium/Blink browsers.

      It's common for sites to register my browser (Vivaldi or Opera) as Chrome, or more so current Chromium/Blink version that the browser uses 🙂

      For me that sounds like scam or blatant lie.

      As a first thing: no German court can sentence a foreign ISP to divulge any information.

      2nd: there is no real High Court in Germany, the highest court in Germany is the federal constitutinal court - and that is not allowet to accept a claim from a p2p company. So the next highest court (for civil and or criminal law is the "BundesGerichtsHof (BGH)" but they cant take a claim with a the value of £ 500 - that value has to be decided by a "normal" court (Amtsgericht).

      3rd: there is already a sentence (of a federeal state's upper court, IIRC Berlin) which allows a state lawyer to dismiss a claim that aims to get a Internet users personal data from an ISP by a criminal claim (only way to get a court order to divulge that information legally) only to start a civil claim from that data.

      There seems to be something terribly smelling about such detours.

      I can only advise each of our users who gets such letters to search legal advise - please remember - I am not a lawyer and I'm not allowed to give legal advice.

      Governor Schwarzenegger predicts Supreme Court will overturn Prop 8

      K

      The problem with Schwarzenegger is that he lives in two worlds: the progressive Hollywood world and the Republican politician world. I think personally he probably supports gay marriage, but he's a Republican. If he wants to advance his political career (as a Republican at least) he has to oppose gay marriage or at least not actively promote it. This is why the Republican party needs to divorce itself from the social conservatives. Arnold is really a Barry Goldwater style Republican, but he has to carry water for the social conservatives in order to stay respected in Republican circles.

      Actually I don't think he supported Prop 8 (see hxxp://www.news10.net/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=50304). I seem to remember after the court decision came down allowing gay marriage, that he said he would not support or get involved with any attempts to amend the California constitution to outlaw gay marriage. I think he figured since the court made the decision he was home free: his fellow Republicans couldn't blame him for allowing gay marriage in California, but he also got to take credit among supporters of gay rights for not opposing the court decision. Prop 8 passing is probably a bit of a nightmare for him actually. A lot of angry people are going to remember his inaction and lukewarm support for the gay marriage efforts and vote accordingly next time he's up for reelection. That's why he wants the Supreme Court to overturn it.

      It should be noted that, like every President, Obama will get to pick his own Joint Chiefs of Staff.

      He can either choose bigots or fair minded people.

      There are some inherent problems with this though;

      1. As it stands now, we can't even get enough bone marrow for people with Leukemia.

      2. The average cost for a simple bone marrow transplant is $250,000. Imagine how much this specialized type of bone marrow transplant is going to cost.

      3. The vast majority of AIDS patients are in the poorest regions, so they will be flooding western countries to get treatment on backs of the taxpayers in these countries.

      Hey Raphjd

      Fortunately this never went ahead, but is back on the cards now with our Prime Minister attempting to force this on us without our consent via signing the TPP (Trans-Pacific Partnership) which among several economic blows it will bring to this beautiful country, will also mandate ISP level filtering, effectively achieving their goal by completely sidestepping the fact that a government is meant to be "by the people, for the people" in fact by signing this agreement he will be enforcing the filtering without even consulting the Australian Legislature. A very crafty move in my opinion.

      It is bad enough that the government of all western cultures already actively force their ISPs to provide the web history of their customers upon request, and then share them with each other, which can only create a climate of fear just because you are a different sexuality, I am not looking forward to the day when the content police come knocking on my door for being a bisexual, But now they are threatening to take away my access to content as well

      Anyway, sorry to revive a thread that is long dead, I just think more people should be aware of and be outraged by what the government is doing in this country. And yet i can't help but feel that we are only seeing the beginning of things to come.

      @trukr:

      When I was 18 an eye surgeon who I was seeing for corrective surgery tried to pick up on me. Flirting, getting closer than he had to, and he rubbed his cock against my knee few times…Can you guess what he invited me over to watch?  ::) :laugh: I stayed home. 👼

      Why?! 😄

      @Hobbestails:

      Hahha looks like I'm zombie-ing this thread. Top Gun is an inferior movie though… go watch Airplane. Not as gay but really more fun. "Do you like Gladiator movies?"

      Reminds me when I was a kid watching an Elvis movie.
      He jumped in a pool and when he came out of it, his hair was perfect, and of course, with gel.
      I thought: "that can't be right".
      And then I keep searching continuity errors in movies/tv shows. They ALWAYS screw it up with hair.

      I love RPG's. western ones specially. Never really have gotten into japanese ones either though. But for some reason I hate Elderscrolls. I know people get mad when I say that, and I can list all the reasons but I digress.

      Fallout 3 is an amazing RPG, I love it. You might want to check that out. Fallout new vegas might be worth checking out if you can get the complete edition for cheap… but I didnt like too much. it seemed just like an expansion to fallout 3 rather than a full game in itself. And it didnt have the soul of fallout 3, it had too many empty meaningless quests that lacked the depth and gravitas of fallout 3. or at least it felt that way to me.

      Anything bioware makes is great for the most part though they seem to have a knack for disappointing sequels. Dragon age I is awesome, dragon age II is over rated and feels half-assed and incomplete. For example, just notice that every house you go into will have the same default layout and background, so does every mountain path you travel, even cave you explore... the only difference is that they block off certain doors in each setting to artificially make it different. Enough said.

      Knights of the old republic was for the original xbox but its freaking awesome, same or maybe even more shocking twist as in bioshock, its worth playing. Mass effect, I loved. But the ending sucks, and I can go on a rant about how it ruined my life but I will spare you. Needless to say, 1 and 2 were still awesome.

      An extremely underrated RPG that you can probably get for real cheap is Alpha protocol. It has gotten bad reviews, but I loved it. But I find that it is a hit or miss with people. Reminds me of mass effect 1 meets splinter cell conviction.

      I did the firmware update a few days after I built this system and the burners were working fine for months.

      I replaced both burners with Optiarc AD 7200S {Sony - NEC joint venture} burners and I have no problems at all.  I haven't done the firmware upgrade yet, but they work like a charm on any disc I throw at them.

      I wonder if there is something on The Tudors dvd that might have caused this.  Sony got caught putting rootkits on their cds and dvds a few times over the last couple of years. So I wonder if something similar happened here.
