Yes. Nearly all banks in the US (whether state or national) are obliged to ensure that their loan books reflect certain obligations imposed by regulators. This usually relates to the communities in their neighbourhood that are not well served.
I once majority owned a national bank based on Wilshire Boulevard (300th largest bank in California - yes just California not US). We were obliged to hold such a loan book. In the end we built up a large business of building loans and car loans to the Korean immigrant community - generally a very good credit risk.
It is very important that governments support all citizens and residents regardless of their birth. None of us choose our parents so we are all entitled to a fair crack at life.

Not quite correct. If they had originally downloaded 100% of the file they will show as seeders. They may no longer have the whole file set still on their server/PC. Though 3 rather than 1 is a bit strange. Once I spent over a month gradually downloading a torrent I was desperate for at just 20bs!

Some original uploaders will keep a torrent active but at at a very low upload speed so as not to interfere with their other activities If you could persuade someone to 'bump# the original uploader you may get a better result - though I note he said he intended to delete the files from his system (once there were 3 or more seeders!)

Painting a rather different picture. Noting the market went up considerably in the pandemic. Anyway this is not a realised loss, it reflects only a notional fall in the value of the entire housing stock Most housing stock doesn't shift very often.

In 2008 it was noted in the UK that only 1/3 of the housing stock is subject to any mortgage. So high mortgage rates only truly strain a relatively small portion of mortgage holders. Many of those under strain are, of course, first time buyers with little equity and tight budgets - sadly these burdens often fall most heavily there. I don't know how this reflects the current market but I expect people (and banks) have generally been more conservative in their borrowing (lending) since the 2007/8 financial crash.

Off topic. I had never heard of BiglyBT before. I looked at the website and it has a number of unusual features. Do you find them useful? How does it compare with rtorrent/rutorrrent?

You need to check the availability shown by your torrent client, If it isn't showing 100% then none of the active uploaders have the entire torrent. Likely many (all?) of the leechers are like you waiting for the missing chunk. Sometimes people delete files they have watched but keep the torrent active. This can also happen with file corruption on the server. Uploaders often move data around on their servers.

I have watched My Day the Series at long last. I am not sure I am as in love with the stars as you, the scrunched up face of puzzlement/anguish of Aki Torres takes away from his charisma as an actor. Great kissing scene, start of a possibly interesting sex scene. One of few BL dramas that suggests the two leads are not exclusively active or passive in their bedroom roles. Hope the script and production values are improved on upcoming series My Story. Would have preferred more scenes round the swimming pool!

My dog has trouble counting. I tell him he has 4 legs. He is not so sure, he says he has legs at many different sides. He tells me he has 2 on the left side and 2 on the right side. Then there are 2 at the front and 2 at the back side. Then there are 2 at this side and 2 at that side. Then there are 2 at the north side and 2 at the south side but then there are also 2 at the east side and 2 at the west side. Lots and lots of different sides.

I gave up buying in the UK either from shops or online a few years ago. I found great inconsistencies, which I suspect are down to how they are stored by the supplier. None of the brands show any trackable supplier information. I usually pay £8 - £10 a large bottle online.

As to the hit/buzz/rush. I have a suspicion that the body adapts to use of a particular brand and so the hit is not so good after a while. You change to a different brand and back comes the hit. I don't really know. I remember dancing and giggling with poppers when I was young but I don't get that rush nowadays!

As to the suppliers - I suspect we are not supposed to give details. They advertise online though, there is one I use in Germany and one in France that have been around forever. If you look on their sites you will see they give proper information as to what they are supplying. If the site you are looking at don't do that, go look at another site.

I think it is some sort of buffer or cache problem They get overloaded and can't clear properly. Your download program then gets stuck. Usually you can view in the browser but not download. I am not sure that it is necessarily only a problem with encrypted files, it may be a formatting problem with the uploaded file.
I find that Video DownloadHelper often hangs after a number of downloads and just won't work. Chrome, Edge and Firefox versions of these downloaders all work slightly differently and you may find trying a different browser works.

One of them has his nose pierced and the other doesn't. I couldn't immediately detect any other distinguishing features. I did once briefly know identical twins and could never quite make my mind up as to whether I enjoyed or hated not knowing which was which.

Propyl (short for isopropyl) is the only type of nitrite (yes 'nitrite' not 'nitrate') that you can legally buy in the UK. It is not especially strong but has a strong lingering chemical smell. It is also an acknowledged cause of AMD (Advanced Macular Degeneration) so should not be used in gas masks (where the eyes are directly and continuously exposed to the fumes).

If you want pentyl nitrite which is a slightly slower but more intense high you have to buy online from an EU supplier (Long existing French and/or German companies are reputable). Amyl has also become commercially available in the last couple of years from these sources. They will usually give you the chemical description of the isomer particular to the poppers brand you want to buy.

If your poppers bottle really stinks then you probably have a lid that doesn't seal properly or you have too much air left in the bottle. The active ingredient in poppers reacts with water in the air and will quite rapidly dissipate leaving a stinky residue.

We may be saying the same thing but using ill defined terms. There are two types of upload data: (1) the amount uploaded from a torrent you have downloaded that you keep live and seeding and (2) the amount of data uploaded by others on torrents that you have created and uploaded. The 2nd usually exceeds the 1st by some margin. Your total upload (for ratio purposes) is 1 + 2. Different sites have slightly different rules on this calculation as also they do on incomplete downloads.

Your ratio on the torrent site is not dependent on what you upload from your own computers. The ratio is "complete uploads by all" divided by "downloads by you". If I have that wrong someone will correct me. It may be calculated differently on different sites. Uncompleted downloads are sometimes counted differently - particularly important when you only download part of a torrent with many files.
