Yup, as with seeding any torrent, the files need to be in the right location. Also, files do need to be stored locally in each location as otherwise you effectively double the bandwidth required to seed those files.

@Rotron Oh Yes, I very much liked The King:Eternal Monarch although the ending was a little odd. it was one of the first Korean series I ever watched - the K2 being the first. Descendants of the Sun made me a committed fan of Song Joong Ki and his wry smiles. It does appear a very odd and harsh society to my european eyes. Many years of watching US shows and extensive periods living in the US have led me to believe that a society's TV is a pretty accurate reflection of that society.

@Rotron I tend to binge watch a series after watching one or two episodes to see if I want to watch the full series. I am very keen to watch Between Us but I do agree the trailers look boring. I like the quality of korean dramas, better thought through and executed plots and, of course, the inevitable twists. However the episodes are long (1- 1/2 hours) and 16 or so is pushing it.

@frostycab maybe I wasn't clear as I didn't want to confuse people to do anything other than what the upload guide says. However, you will note when you examine a successfully uploaded torrent's trackers that they are always the same - i.e. the same: http://tracker.gaytor.rent:2710/[your assigned unique identifier]/announce. You can put this in the torrent you upload. You can, before the upload, use that same torrent in your computer pointed to the right files, recheck done, etc. The upload will go live within a minute or so and any trackers on your torrent on your computer will show working. I do this on 2 computers and a seedbox in advance of the actual upload. They all will all work immediately as I have tested this by also putting the site download on a 4th computer to be sure see that this is what happens. Even so, the uptake on each of the 3 locations is quite inconsistent and different. With superseeding enabled they should all be uploading immediately to all requests and should continue to do so - but they don't..

@MrMazda I have started uploading Tv series recently and am a little confused as to how best to do this using a seedbox. I have created torrents, transfer the torrent (as well as associated files stored in the correct place) to one other computer as well as the seedbox (3 locations). I then do the torrent recheck and resume the torrent. I then upload the torrent to your site (with the right private tracker for your site and the unique to me announce code). Now once the torrent goes live all 3 devices should start downloading. However, they never do and indeed they never seed in sync. Also when there are active leechers the torrents on different sites (esp the seedbox) do not start uploading to these leechers. This is equally true on moment one as it is later on. Clearly I have some sort of tracker recognition issue. Any ideas?

@Rotron I have now watched first 4 episodes. It is very faithful to the book - though I think they have dropped the Cultural Revolution Red Guard era part of the story, we shall see. It will be heavy going though. I don't really see how they can be faithful to the book and keep the viewer on tenterhooks for each episode. As far as I can see on MyDramaList I am the only person who has watched it - at least so far there has been little reaction. It has been suggested that the pent up anticipation resulting in the 100 million audience for the animation has now cooled and with it also the appetite for the drama series.

@Rotron TADA TADA TADA - shouldn't have problems remembering that one. Just finished Love Bill (I had put it on hold while watching the end of Reborn Rich and then found myself hooked on the Golden Spoon). So sad but then I suppose it was not a story that could ever have a satisfactory happy ending. Though It was heavily signalled by ongoing reference to Thien's scripts always having sad endings. Strange how this simple show really grabbed me. A lot of new BL coming out soon. Any current recommendations for this week's viewing?

@Rotron Glad you enjoyed Prison Playbook. when somebody mentioned it I realised I had kept coming across the show for some reason when I searched MyDramaList. I thought that maybe I should have a look at it and as you say there is a lot of different themes in the series which make it worth watching.

Just watched first episode of The Three-Body Problem now available on Tencent's YouTube channel. Really enjoyed it, seems really faithful to the first novel. Though it is 30 episodes long, I believe they are being shown every weekday night so the wait between episodes might just be bearable. As I like to binge watch anyway I couldn't really deal with watching over 30 weeks.

Just watched 1st episode of new chinese series Three-Body problem. Showing on Tencent- on YouTube with english subtitles. It is shaping up to be very good.
Netflix has another version supposedly due this year as well.

If you have 3 screens I presume you are using this equipment at home - and not travelling with 3 screens. If so, why don't you just get a couple of mini pcs, or intel sticks to stick behind your screens (or TVs). They are cheap and will easily cope with 4K video, Plex/Jellyfin/Netflix, qbittorrent and watching chaturbate. With a Lan drive storage is not an issue - nor is sharing your files. You can control them all from your laptop.

I have used these for 5 years and never had one fail. Even if they did it wouldn't be a real issue as nothing important is ever stored on them. Logins and passwords can all be synchronised using almost any modern web browser.

Smart TV's have now caught up though and you could actually watch most any website like chaturbate on a Smart TV.

The real reason you laptop gets hot is video encoding - and as noted by others - not something to which a laptop is well suited. Video encoding is very CPU/GPU intensive and so generates a lot of heat. In a laptop that heat is being generated in a tiny space that is difficult to cool. A tower PC would cope with this much better and cost a fraction of a $6,000 laptop.

Of course, you also have the option of using a cloud hosted PC which would solve any location issues. Again they are not necessarily cheaper than using a comparable desktop/tower pc but can be a lot more convenient if you are wanting to look after just one pc - your laptop.

I am glad you had the 'WTF' moment too. I was quite shocked when I saw the music vids (1) because I never rated either Billkin or PP as being particularly handsome or pretty in ITSAY and (2) because it was (to me) a total change in image. That red pseudo bondage outfit in particular sends so many different messages. The other interesting image change is with Billkin - the change of haircut makes a big difference and his face really lights up when he does his goofy puppy dog smile.
Thanks for the big pics. I confess I had already watched a number of the associated vids on YouTube - including the birthday cake scene - almost straight out of an early episode of War of Y! Yes, I do prefer Billkin's voice but more than happy to find that they are both talented as singers and performers.How their lives must have changed after ITSAY was released. I am not sure how the reaction was in Thailand but I think in the wider BL world it was quite a slow start to the big burn. By the end of the series we were really going for them but, for me, up until the last few episodes their characters were just irritating me. By the end I was desperate for the sequel. Thinking about it now I had much the same reaction in the middle of IPYTM and I was aching for a happy end - on the beach.

I just found out before Christmas that an old colleague and friend of mine (who I haven't been in touch with for many many years) works for the ADB and lives on a farm in the Phillipines.

@Rotron On a side issue do you know if there is a way I can change the name of the torrent file for the Prison Playbook upload without removing it entirely. If I do have tor remove it entirely I will wait a couple of days before I finish the other episodes and then post the entire series.

It is the picture on the profile - not his profile picture as such. I did a google image search to discover it is PP Krit on the cover of his music video FireBoy. That is interesting enough but the video for "It's Okay Not To Be Alright" takes it to yet another level.

Whilst it may not be to your taste, nor is it maybe mine either, but seeing how Han Jung Wan has got your interest I was intrigued by the photo posted on QueerDudeGermany's MyDramaList profile. I thought I recognised the person but was quite shocked to see that it was actually PP Krit from the cover of one of his music videos. I don't know if you have seen them (which I hadn't until today) but they portray a very different image of him than in the "I Told Sunset About You" drama series. An OTT extreme pretty boy image and probably as much spent on the different music videos as on the drama series.

@Rotron Thank you. I haven't recovered properly from the Christmas/New Year season obviously. I was getting confused myself with the titles and clearly must have needed a break!

Hi. That has been a difficult one. Despite the fact that both Disney and Netflix have recently been broadcasting this series, all the available torrents are either strangely huge (70+Gb) for 1080p with only 1 or 2 active seeders and torrents for 720p or lower are all dead.

It has not helped that this series is known under multiple names. It was originally broadcast as Wise Prison Life (all torrents dead). Anyway I have done my best for you tonight,

I hope there are no errors but I confess my attention to detail is not what it used to be. Will double check this tomorrow. It may be a bit slow downloading initially until I have uploaded the files to my seedbox.

@Rotron Han Jung Wan's face is so tender - a real contrast from his body. I wonder whether he will have managed to maintain that super ripped body since then. I eagerly look forward to watching Individual Circumstances.
I was up rather late last night so it seems my attention to detail was slipping. Our time zones are really very different.
