@Rotron Thanks. I have just finished watching Reborn Rich. After each episode I was desperate to watch the next, it was very compelling. The story did have a lot of plot holes, particularly with the last episode, but they are forgiveable. Actually I will forgive anything for the wry smile that Song Joong Ki does so beautifully. I don't think we will ever see him in a bromance beyond that in Descendants of the Sun nor - in truth - do I want him to play one.

As much as I like Kdrama and how it has matured in the last few years I don't really think this site is suited to anything other than gay porn and related softcore and/or BL. I laugh and giggle at BL but in all honesty I hate and cannot defend its portrayal of LGBTQ+ people and gay men in particular.

@lololulu19 Wow! That really works! That has revived my hope of downloading some other rare files where it has previously got stuck and I have aborted the effort.

@lololulu19 Oh! I will try that. I am frequently confused as to why torrents showing as recently seen complete will not finish downloading.

As it happens I watched the series last night. It was not like most BL at all, quite sad. Though it was uplifting to see a BL with a coherent and good plot - full of usual KDrama twists and with young actors who show great promise. Quite intrigued how Choi Hyun Wook looks so much like a young Park Seo Joon - in looks, attitude and acting. A second series is rumoured but not confirmed.

I will keep posting series as they come to an end. Most series episodes are very short anyway so watching a full series in one go is quite manageable. I think (like perhaps many others) that few series merit the emotional investment spread out over 2 or 3 months. That is my humble - not opionated - view of course.

If I believed all the BL shows then nowadays love happens and that should be accepted by us all regardless of - most anything.

It does however appear that falling for escorts - particularly if one met through an online service - is generally frowned on by the world at large. Note the case of John Browne CEO of BP who was forced to resign not because of his sexuality but because he admitted to having met his Brazilian boyfriend as a rent boy via Grindr.

So the world seems as ready to judge negatively as it always has.

So my ratio on my latest upload has stalled at 0.97 - which means that nobody has uploaded the entire torrent.

So I have just tried to download this torrent myself using another computer. I get one seeder showing in my peers but not me. That peer has this torrent as 97% downloaded. My download speed was initially 100 Kbs and then declined to single bytes and has now stalled at 17.5%.

I just tried downloading another torrent I uploaded a couple of weeks ago on another computer. I successfully downloaded this at 1.3Mps with 5 Peers. None of those peers was me.

Hi. Hope you have a fun time on this site. Like so many things in life (sadly or maybe happily!) you will though have great fun but also great frustration. You will find helpful people out there ready to answer your questions (even though they may have been asked many times before) and happily very few trolls here.

Thanks. I know this could be the problem but I am not convinced. Maybe it is an issue with my ISP limiting this sort of file streaming. Even so I still feel that some part of this is a local problem.

I have a direct fibre broadband connection unlimited gb (up or download) with a 30Mps down and 10Mps Up. I know this is not the fastest but I don't play computer games and I am a single man without other family members in the house using bandwidth.

I seem to be able to achieve rates of rates easily 5Mps down and 2Mps up when downloading or uploading on other sites, to friends, to cloud services etc.

I do realise that the speed at which the files are pulled from me does depend on the speed the downloader has permitted. I often limit these myself to ensure that other things are not adversely affected.

I use a separate computer for downloading and uploading files on these sites. Actually though I never seem to have any other device affected by the speed of downloads or uploads whether at busy times or not.

I have recently returned to this site after a long absence and started uploading files. I have no difficulty creating torrents, uploading and making them visible. I have 2 issues after that with seeding:

1. On a new torrent even if I allocate a maximum bandwidth to uploading the files I only seem to reach about 200Kbs.
2. Once I have uploaded a torrent and it has been seeded100%, the number of uploads very quickly falls away and I seem to stick on very low ratios.
   In either cases I can see that these torrents are still being actively snatched.

It may be this issue is down to my ISP but I am not convinced that is the real problem

I have read somewhere that this may be a port forwarding issue but I can not find the post where I read this.

Anybody help with what I need to do - in particular with changing the port forwarding.
