@eobox91103 What's your body count then, if you've made up for it?
Personally I feel like mine is kind of low, I'm 28 and my body count is about 50...but almost all of that sex was compressed into a year. Can't wait to get back to that lifestyle...
When I was 28, my count was less than ten...due to both a late start and needing to study 26 hours/day in graduate school. When I hit 30 I thought I was "over the hill," but it was quite the opposite: I had more time for the gym, as well as my own place for "entertaining." I probably went ten years with one encounter per week. Do the math on that, and it's in the middle three digits.
I'm neither proud nor ashamed of that--it's just something that happened. I had a "visiting associate" post in a city with a very gay neighbourhood, and it wasn't unusual to bring a guy home that I met at the gym so we could finish what we started in the showers.
I can understand a feeling that one might have "lost time by coming out late," as I very much felt that way myself. (I do some volunteer work with a youth organisation, and there are kids coming out at 14--or earlier--these days.) But everyone is on their own timetable, and at the risk of sounding like a trite greeting card, everyone's schedule is exactly right for them. The current pandemic has put a damper on things, but I prefer to be cautious. I'm skeptical if some guy says that his dick is long enough that we could fuck even while distanced by two meters.
