There's "gay for pay," and "gay for play." I use the latter category to describe guys who are emotionally/psychologically attracted to women, but enjoy the physical sensation of sex with guys. Such as:

1. One buddy of mine is a police officer (who would sometimes show up in uniform, although that's not a fetish of mine). He's married, has a couple of kids, but enjoys getting fucked. Very true! I sometimes use the metaphor of people standing in a circle around an elephant--no one person gets the full concept.

I think it would help the discussion if there were some links or references, especially when an assertion like, "As a young theologian he [Ratzinger] was the key liberal voice at the Vatican." This is not the presumed narrative, so a link to something he wrote/published in that time frame would be very useful.

Having auto-approve for everyone does explain why some torrents show up described only as "Hot Sex" with no pictures. In the past, those might not have received moderator approval. I'm sure those were tough calls--after all, we want people to share their material, and disapproving a torrent probably needed to convey "it's not that we want to disapprove--we want you to improve."

The cop was in a gay chat room; the other guy was from a gay hookup site. The cop was open about his situation from the beginning; the other guy only said he wanted to "give oral" and then hit me with the camera thing when I got there. Those are the only two "straight" guys I've hooked up with--that I know of.

I haven't had any experience lately because of the pandemic and just worried about catching anything in general.

Same here. Somehow asking for proof of vaccination and a recent covid test seems like a mood-breaker, even if it is just a hookup.

I think the term "public" is being used two different ways in this thread:

I've had sex in bathhouses, bushes behind gay/nude beaches, and at a gay sex party. While this was with or in view of strangers, they were all willing participants (or voyeurs), and nobody's rights were violated. I'm not sure I would call this "public," but the presence of (willing) strangers has an appeal.

I've also had/seen sex in the shower rooms of gyms; this would probably be considered "public" and thus inappropriate, but on a couple of occasions it was difficult to resist. (Once at university I was seen by another student, and I stopped immediately...a few years later at a YMCA I was caught by a staff person, who joined in.)

Some guy having a wank on a street corner is definitely public and definitely inappropriate. It could easily be considered harassment as @flozen suggests above.

@anythingold I agree with what you're saying. My posting was a bit tangled up because there are several issues going on here:

1. The OP said, "Despite what we've been told for the last 15 years, being obese is not healthy." I don't think that's been the message, but there has been a greater consciousness that overweight/obese people still deserve ordinary human respect, and media stereotypes that women should look anorexic are counter to that.
2. The article's purported link between being overweight and COVID death rates is not the result of a study--it's anecdotal at best, and skewed because of national policy phenomena.
3. The article is also sloppy in shifting terminology from the initial mention of "overweight" to "obese."

Bottom line: Yes, indeed it is complicated, but many people crave simple solutions to complicated problems. The best we can do is follow the current cutting-edge medical advice to protect our own health and the health of others. I've had my two Moderna jabs...and while I'd rather have other things stuck into my body, it's still a good feeling.

Exactly--and a TV or computer monitor does this very accurately, because it knows the target resolution of the display screen. There's no need to upscale a lower-resolution video and make a new file from it, which is going to be considerably larger that the original.

The exception would be if someone is using some AI software that actually sharpens things up using a complex algorithm that analyses each frame and then produces a clearer result. Some uploaders here have tried to do this (with mixed results), and this can be an improvement. But simply stretching each frame and quadrupling file size offers no benefit.

I agree. A radical take on this would be from the [late] sociologist Michel Foucault, himself a gay man, who saw "gay," "lesbian," and "bisexual" as social constructs, rather than actual categories of people. He didn't deny that GLB people exist, only that they were sociologically more similar to "left-handed people" who aren't a social category. (This is a simplification of his view.)

I'm not saying I agree with him, but it's an interesting idea to consider.

Three comments:
First, the "Epoch Times" is not reliable news. The article you cite states that they have inflated the real number, which they correctly cite as $28 trillion.

Second, spending bills in the US have to pass both the House of Representatives and the Senate. The Republican-controlled Senate approved all of Mr Trump's extravagances.

Third, for the umpteenth time when you can't make a rational argument, you attack other posters. So I'll do the same: You are the problem. Your ignorance of facts is appalling. Your posts are worthless.

@vmalar Please re-read what I said, and I'll also try to simplify it for you: There's a big difference between a parent who circumcises a child without his consent, and that child who grows up to be a circumcised man.

I think the parent was wrong to enforce this upon the child. While this might fall under the category of child abuse, it cannot be compared to the holocaust.

But the guy who was circumcised is not wrong. He had nothing to do with the decision, and he has a right to enjoy his sex life--and his penis--to the fullest. Telling him that he is defective and mutilated serves no purpose.

A few times when I've been waiting for a print job to finish, I've searched out likely targets for the one star troll and given them a five star rating.
