That's a lot you've shared there, Ellis. Thank you for giving a deeper insight into your circumstance and how things have been going so far.
As gaypraha2 said- your life has been great, and many people don't even have that.

It's good to recognize how lucky you've been- to have not one but (if I understand it right) at least 2 significant long term relationships that have lasted longer than some marriages I know of. I would suggest you take comfort and solace in that knowledge for the inevitable sorrows that lie ahead. Inevitable because that's how life goes- if you follow a story long enough, there can only be the painful partings that come with the end of a lifetime. We all will have to come to terms with that, each in our own way.

I just watched Lars and the Real Girl- thanks to you- since I never heard of it and never would have even looked for it if not for your posts about it here. The story moved me because it ultimately spoke about letting go of certain things- fear of loss for one- and the good thing that comes with facing your fears is that you grow as a person- and in the end, that's what life is really about.

Honestly, I envy what you've got-my longest relationship to date lasted 7 years, and then we parted as friends but the pain of loss is still there. I find this part of my journey, solitary as it is, rewarding in its own way. I will definitely try again in the future- and even if marriage isn't possible in my country- I want something that will last a lifetime.

In closing- as it says in the quote at the bottom of this page- life is short- tell everyone you love how you feel, while they are still there to hear it. And even if life is scary- don't let it stop you from living. Cheers!  ♥

Another good idea is to search for DVDs you have and make a modern MKV rip of them if only AVIs exist. You would be contributing a better quality version made for modern computers.

Not just computers… Some mobile devices as well, such as my new Motorola Moto Z Play smartphone, which can handle pretty well any format, up to and including full 1080p HD. It's apparently a VERY new and also pretty badass little handheld device that even out-powers my relatively recent Asus laptop, as sad as that is to say.

Regarding some of the replies to my post (noted below), citing issues with the naming and titling of a torrent…

My concern is not with a torrent's name or title, but with the name/title of its video (MP4, FLV, AVI, etc.)--and a question as to why doesn't the uploader of such videos noted (which appear in my download list as an unidentifiable string of numbers and letters attached to an MP4, AVI, or other video file) rename the video a title that's at least somewhat descriptive.

I’m curious, and interested in knowing the answers to a couple of questions regarding these (and similarly entitled) videos and their corresponding torrents.

Without doing a “search” of or opening any files on your computer, and referring to this list of video titles only…

1.   Do you know either the subject of the particular video, or the name of the torrent the video belongs to?

As for me, having downloaded all of these in the last week or so, I can say “No” to both. Even if I had the torrent names randomly listed opposite this list of titles, I couldn’t tell you what video goes to what torrent

My second question is for the uploaders only, and something I’ve decided I’d ask from now on, whenever I come across a torrent with the same issue; and that is…

2.   Why didn’t you rename the video from the cryptic title, to something more descriptive–using the title of the torrent, for example, before you created and uploaded your torrent? ???

Anyway, from now on, I’ve decided to ask, “Why?”

Regarding "the availability of these in the image"…

A rep from HOM got back to me and my inquiry, and sadly, in spite of the HOM "branding" in the image, it's just a product of someone's computer graphic skills…oh well.

If you rename the file (or folder for a multiple file torrent) in µTorrent's download pop-up window, before starting the download, you can still seed it after having completed the download. Same if you use the "Advanced…" options to rename or move it.

However, if you re-name the file or folder from the file explorer, you'll get a "File missing from download" error in µTorrent as it can't find the file(s) any more. This can be corrected in pointing µTorrent again to the re-named file/folder though.

I'd say that the two Diva have a different point of view about the song.

To be honest, this is the first I see those two videos and while the song its been years.

Patti with her black dress and all the hand shaking was trying to make the song more dramatic, adding point plus for her vocal performance. And I think she pretty nailed it at the climax.

But, Celine on the other hands, with white dress, sexy pose, the touching and he mirrors, put a more light features to the songs, but yet, her powerful vocal just undeniable.

Conclusion, I vote for Celine because she has extra points because she was successfully delivered the song beautifully while it was not her original song.
