@barbusex75 said in Quality of Files low:

Hello from some weeks now I see videos files of about 20 mins being around 100/200 Mo, which makes them bad quality on a 22"' Desktop clips
I believe the posted file should be at better quality

      HD file 1920x1008 : minimum of 5000 ko/s mp4, about 35 Mo/min
      Half HD 1080x 720 minimum 3500 ko/sec mp4 (about 20 mo/min)
      Sd (720x 576) 2400 ko/s mp4 ( about 15 mo/minutes)

Also there is no need to recode a mps video in H265, this double compression will degrade a lot a final quality.
Same applies if you join different mp4 and recompress them.

To check the quality of your file, you can use Mediainfo (windows free ware)

A Lot of content is posted in multiple file sizes -- everything from phone-size (360p) to 4K, and even some 8k content has been posted! In most cases, it depends on the source material.

As for re-coding, whether you're re-compressing depends on how you're re-coding. Some video "translation" software DECODES the source stream into "raw" output before "re-coding" the stream with the new codec.

To that end, I personally use HandBrake to recode content to make it smaller... I have TB of "collections" (most of which are shared here) that are re-coded to H265 at just 720p to save space. I don't need to see every hair stubble or every juicy zit to beat off! LOL But that's just me! And ain't that the beauty of this site (and porn in general)?

      There's something for everyone!

Peace! and enjoy the free porn... it's a bargain, at twice the price!

Don't blame those photos on the players, especially if you think they are brain dead idiots.

Blame the news reporters, whom you worship as long as they are liberal, for their part in the mask scams.

Wearing masks for protection (primarily for others) is not a scam...

But wait - let's posit for a moment that it WAS a scam for some reason? TO WHAT END?

When scammers get my credit card info, it's so that they can USE it and buy shit!

When scammers get me to download a trojan into my PC, it's so they can install RANSOMWARE and get me to pay-up!

When scammers get me to buy shit that's fake, at the "discount price" off of the real stuff, it's so that they can sell their shit!

So where's the benefit to the scammers about masks?

      • Are all these health experts invested in mask companies?
      • Are all these health experts directing us towards their masks?
      • Are all these health experts just playing us for fools - because they have teenage minds and just think it'd be cool
      • Are all these health experts just tired of treating sick people, so they're trying to kill off huge portions of the population?

Tell me, Mr Wizard - What's the win? What's the benefit to the people telling you to wear masks?

OH! That's right! It's to control your lives! As-if you don't wear eye-glasses, as-if you don't wear seat-belts, as-if you don't drive on roads (and not off-road) and stop at stop-signs and red-lights? As-if you don't pull-over when the cops (ultimate control figures) pull you over!

      You go, you anarchist, you!

Oh, and reporters and athletes being stupid together doesn't require either one to be more (or less) stupid than the other... they're both being hypocritical. That said, they ARE outside, and they ARE tested - many times - before being allowed on the field... so, perhaps, the hypocritical part is where they keep their distance for the on-camera interview... THAT was, perhaps, just for show!

I think you are all missing the point.

This is not evidence that Trump should be President but that there are to many ways to cheat if someone wanted to. Laws are needed to to minimize the ability to cheat.

2020 showed us that a few fraudulent votes cast in key districts is a few key states could change the out come of an election.

So, you look at one of the GREAT STRENGTHS of our voting system (that each State, nay each County in each State) has its own - unique - election system, such that, even IF, for example Dominion voting machines with a specific code set were compromised, it would only affect a tiny fraction of the overall vote!

The Russians and Chinese CAN'T hack our elections (though they certainly can influence them with misinformation campaigns!) because there is no one way (nor even a single hundred ways) to do so! They would have to simultaneously, and secretly, break into HUNDREDS - nay, thousands - of systems to be successful! Systems that are (from a computer science perspective) not at all similar!

Nah - you go ahead.... CENTRALIZE the voting systems - make them all "perfect"! That way, one good hack CAN change millions of votes!

The professionals - the supervisors of elections - FROM BOTH PARTIES! - agree overwhelmingly: 2020 was one of the "cleanest" elections in our history!

Only thing is: "Trumpty Dumpty the loser" had a great fall... and we all know that COULDN'T have happened, because he was supposed to have had it RIGGED - in his FAVOR!

So, if Trumpty Dumpty didn't win, the only plausible explanation is that someone out-cheated him!

      Yeah! That's the ticket!

Do you paint everyone with such a broad brush or just the people you don't like?

I'm sorry if you haven't been following the NFL and College Football "issues" that have been arising over TBI and CTE injuries... injuries that begin when the athletes are very young, but take years - even decades - to show signs, and can only be confirmed in diagnosis post-mortem.

The incidence of NFL player alumni suicides is more than 10x the rate of other professional sports!

Brain scientists believe (but have no way to prove) that the damage begins very early in a player's "career" - that is to say, in High School for most! - and that it's more a question of "how much brain damage is there" vs "is there any brain damage at all"...

2 of my kids work in "retail" - both as managers... finding good help is SOOOO hard!

These days it's quite difficult in retail and food service to find entry-level employees. In some places, the only requirement seems to be a heartbeat, or reasonable facsimile thereof. The unfortunate situation in Edmonton was likely the result of an uninformed and/or less than brilliant employee acting on his/her own. The nutjob websites reporting this story want to hint at some Grand Conspiracy to Oppress the Citizens, but that doesn't work. (Note that this story is only found on a handful of fringe websites, all citing each other as sources. While the "Edmonton event" may very well have occurred, it's not impossible that it's a fabrication.)

One thing missing from all of the crapsheet "reporting" is the child's age, vaccination status, and/or medical condition that led to the mask exemption. While these are personal matters that can be reserved from the "press," it wouldn't surprise me if Mommy Karen and the child weren't vaccinated. Even if the kid were vaccinated, one has to question to wisdom of bringing such child without a mask into a crowded shopping mall.

While I don't disagree with the premise (that it likely wasn't such a good idea bringing a child with medical problems into a crowded mall environment), that also "assumes facts not in evidence" - and I would ask - was it really so important that the child - the ill child - be in the store?

All we really know is that the child had an exemption that the store would not honor. All the other details people are adding are coming from your own imaginations!

75 year-old Patricia Nixon Cox, daughter of former President Richard Nixon proclaimed "He couldn't have known that stuff - he lied! My dad was right all along! It was a witch hunt! I want him re-instated!"

When informed that her father had passed away in 1994, she declared "I don't care! He should be President again!"

      This just in:

An 84 year-old man in Western PA signed an affidavit that he intended to vote for Trump, but was confused and accidentally voted for Biden.

Upon hearing the news, President Biden asked for former-President Trump to return immediately to the White House so that he could concede the election to him (why not, Biden apparently likes to concede shit!) and immediately swear-in Trump as President again.

When Trump got on the plane, he received a phone call from Chief Justice John Roberts, who explained that, should Biden leave office - once he was sworn in - for any reason, Kamala Harris would immediately become President... and if she were to quit too, Speaker Pelosi would immediately become President (but would have to resign from the House first - she can't be both!). Indeed, even if 30 people declined to become President, Trump STILL could not become President again until Jan, 2025 (assuming he won the Nov, 2024 election and subsequent Jan, 2025 Electoral College vote - which Kamala Harris will have to validate!).

Mr. Trump then asked for Melania to explain it to him, but she was too busy directing the removal of the luggage from the plane. He tried to call Rudy to explain it to him, but he was in court (The People's Court TV show - the only "court" in the country where he's still allowed to practice law!)

Eventually Trump got off the plane and went back to the golf course, where he falsified his score card and won by a single stroke - as usual!

    • RE: Lush cosmetics store kicks out disabled child over inability to wear a mask

@kekkaishi said in Lush cosmetics store kicks out disabled child over inability to wear a mask:

@bi4smooth I didn't say that the whole company is responsible. The responsibility falls on the individual only. What you are describing in your example, the employee who didn't want to go get the milk didn't know about the allergy (unless he was told in advanced). I'm 100% sure had the employee knew about the allergy, he would act accordingly

In the Lush consmetics case, even though the employees and the manager knew very well of the child's disability and mask exemption, they still refused. Is that intentional enough? I will say that due to the mask mandates, the employees must have believed that there are no exceptions to that rule obviously (perhaps indeed company policy?). IMHO, this was well beyond a mistake

I don't know where you're getting your information from - I didn't go past the article as-posted/linked, plus the follow-on link that claimed to have the "full story".

This story could have a lot of "what-ifs" and the store manager said the situation was "nuanced" (what s/he means by that is unknown, to be sure).

But that's my whole point: you're jumping to conclusions based on what information?

From the information shared so far, your "additional information" has all been inferred. You can choose to infer the worst, or the best - either way, the truth is usually somewhere in between.

I'll posit another story - which may explain why my daughter was so quick to fire the employee who was too lazy to go get the almond milk:

My oldest son is a type-1 diabetic (also called a "Brittle Diabetic") - he often orders coffees and teas unsweetened, or sweetened with Splenda. He usually asks to be allowed to sweeten his own beverage, because not-uncommonly, in spite of ordering the DIET beverage, he is served one with sugar... which can have a deadly effect if he's not aware of what happened. (He can generally TASTE the difference between the sugar, high-fructose-corn-syrup (as bad as sugar to him), and the artificial sweeteners... so he will often take the item back if it tastes initially like it has sugar in it.

So, based on your statement above, when my son orders a diet soda (and he's thin as a rail), he should have to provide his medical history to avoid some dumbass employee giving him a sugared drink because they don't think he NEEDS the diet one?

Or, just maybe, thinking outside the box here: when you order a diet, milk-free beverage, I don't know - just guessing here: the employees should (I think reasonably... maybe?) be expected to give you what you ordered [as opposed to what they THINK you should have ordered!]

IMHO, if the case was clear-cut, the company likely would have been "mea-culpa" and fired the employee. That that isn't what happened leads me to believe that there is more here that we don't know...

But I'm gonna leave it here... you are free to assume the worst (or the best) about Lush - truth be told, neither YOU nor I are likely to drive to the Lush store in Edmonton any time soon! So, the opinions that really matter will be the participants, perhaps some lawyers, and maybe even a jury... again, odds are you and I will not ever be one of those in this case...

@kekkaishi said in Lush cosmetics store kicks out disabled child over inability to wear a mask:

      @bi4smooth
A mistake can be interpreted as not intentional
When I said "bad decision" I meant to imply intent; to say that the employees knew very well what they were doing and decided to do it anyway. It wasn't because a "lack of training", it was because they didn't care to listen or to consider the circumstances. If you are an inconsiderate individual, no amount of training will help you

I think you're reading an awful lot into that story... maybe some personal experience "seeding" your viewpoint?

Not saying you're wrong just that there doesn't seem to be a basis for your assumptions...

2 of my kids work in "retail" - both as managers... finding good help is SOOOO hard!

One daughter works in a store (I won't name it): they have food options. A customer asked for Almond milk (vs dairy). The employee didn't want to have to go back and get more almond milk (they were out up front), so he used dairy instead.

Turns out the customer had an allergy & went into an emergency situation right there in the store. (Paramedics were called & the customer recovered at the hospital).

The employee admitted to ignoring the customer's request & was fired on the spot...

But do you hold the whole company responsible, or the individual?

That was my point: the employee made the error (whether intentional or otherwise - we may never know)... but Lush probably does not have a store policy that backs their actions, so probably shouldn't be held liable - neither in legal courts, nor in the court of public opinion...

@rickchub said in DATING WHEN YOU ARE A CHUBBY:

      hi

i am a black chubby lad and I have been single for a few years to be honest i have given up dating because i felt not desired for the right reason but more of a fetich for some blocks because of my weight or my skin. I just want someone to want me for me, just quirky self and shyness.
I am not a 10 and would never be one and I am honest with myself and I wonder if I will ever meet someone right or I will just finish my life alone and no one cares about me.
I know that I have to deal with a lot past trauma and therapy is here for that and it is a long road ahead but sometime I am just tired of doing that road alone and just want someone but no anyone.

      What should I do ?

Babe, there is someone out there for you.. but as much as you want it to happen, you also have to be OPEN to let it happen!

I had a friend when I was in my 20's - Asian, short, and quite overweight... he was always complaining that no one wanted HIM FOR HIM, overlooking his extra weight...

Truth be told, there were PLENTY of guys into him, but they didn't match HIS physical ideals!

I'm not saying this is you - but for my friend, it wasn't until another friend of ours - who was into him, but who was turned away one too many times had a "come to Jesus" moment with him that he started to change... they dated a while, and broke up... but I believe both found happiness shortly thereafter...

I will say this as well... sometimes you have to LET THE UNIVERSE WIN!

I have told this story way too many times, but I attended a house party (non-sexual) about 10 years ago. I was divorced (from a woman), and newly back "into" the gay scene (after 15 years, it was unrecognizable!)

I was in my mid-40's, bald-ish, and about 20 lbs over my "ideal" weight (personal ideal)... so I wasn't attracting a lot of attention. There was this other guy I really liked at the party - Tom - and I arranged to get his number... so I texted him a couple of days after the party...

A day later, I got a text from another number asking me to dinner... I assumed it was Tom... I showed up at the correct time, at the correct place - and this GORGEOUS, 6'3", 23 y/o Nubian GOD sat down... I was CERTAIN he was in the wrong place... I was embarrassed for him! He clearly thought I was someone else! Right?

Cut to the chase, David and I fell quickly and madly in love... to this day, the most passionate and "complete" man I've ever known! We had issues, and ours was a FIERY relationship - but it was the MOST REAL, and most intense interpersonal relationship I'd ever had, and likely ever will have!

Sadly, while we were engaged to be married, David came down with a MRSA infection in his chest. The ER misdiagnosed it - twice - and he passed because the infection had grown too bad before it was finally diagnosed and treated. I won't go into the details, but his death was 5 years ago now, and I still talk to him, dream about him, masturbate to memories of him... you get the idea...

The point: I would NEVER have "gone for" David - he was outta my league! WAY! WAY outta my league! But when the Universe put us together, we didn't think a second thought about our age difference. Much less our racial difference! I "fought" seeing David again at first: what would my kids think, what was I thinking, being with such a younger man - and later, was I crazy getting feelings for him?

I let the Universe in - and I had the time of my life while David was in it!

Be open to other people - NOT "your type"... and get out there! The Universe will send someone your way, but NOT to your doorstep!

      So many BIG names recently!

    • RE: singer/songwriter/actor Meatloaf dead @ 74

An amazing performer in his prime - his concerts were exhausting (for fans and performers alike!)...

Paradise by the dashboard light is one of my all time favorite songs!

      RIP
