There is usually a reason why it failed to connect. When you click on the torrent, then the "Trackers" tab, does it show you anything more specific?
Also, have you tried turning off the SSL tracker?

Actually, what you probably didn't know is that there is a bit of a bug with this feature. If you turn on certain categories in those defaults, when trying to search with category settings different than the default, the search will give you issues. For best results, you actually want to un-check all the categories, as well as the three search 2.0 options.
I stand corrected on my previous statement about invites. If you have invites, you can now use them. The catch to this however is that you must be a power user. To be a power user, you must have all of the following:
In the event that an invite goes wrong for some reason, the helpdesk is able to adjust your invites if you explain the situation and how it went wrong. Currently, only the referral registration is closed. Invites are live and functional.
The problem is you are confusing downloading the contents of the torrent with downloading the .torrent file. You can always download the .torrent files for your own uploads, even without download rights. The most common cause of this problem is that you have not moved the contents of the torrent to the folder where your torrent client downloads to by default. Remove the torrent from your torrent client, copy or move the contents of the torrent to the folder where your torrent client downloads into by default, THEN add the torrent to your torrent client, and it should begin seeding your upload.
Yes there is something fundamentally wrong with torrent distribution.
I have been posting several absolute new vids and seen my upload speed go into the ceiling for then go back to the lousy 2-24 kb/s after the vid have reached a single complete upload, or stop completely at sharing aspect 1,5 while seeing it has been snatched 50 times and more.
When i download something the speed is in MB and my upload speed on the same stays in the few kb despite i know my upload speed is better. And the low speed upload ends immediately after the download is complete.Yes i have been lucky with some freeleeches, particularly the christmas offers. And i have understood the advices on how to get up ratio, but the problem remains. Torrent clients prefer using those who have higher speed, and that is probably those who use seed boxes.
Its unfair. And the problem lies in the torrent technology. Its fucking inferior technology. So meanwhile I use eMule, and i upload TBs monthly there. I have no problem with my sharing ratio there, its 10-20 GB down pr month, and I think its ok.
The reason to use gay torrent is of course the browse and search possibilities. And there are offers not available by emule, but also th other way around. Adding a file for upload for emule is as easy as putting it in a new folder while releasing a torrent is .. yes you know, but i think the process of searching up for not making duplicates are tedious, and i usually gets lost in surfing and forget about adding torrents. And right now- have got a new pc, and when i add some of the old torrents, they start downloading again, despite me having the file. I really want other ways of spoiling my ratio. Any ideas why ?
This is often the sign that your port forwarding settings are not in order. You need to make sure that the port that your torrent client uses is forwarded through your home router or VPN to your computer, both in TCP and in UDP. This is a critical, yet often overlooked step, which is necessary for getting proper upload traffic on our tracker.
The only laws the site is bound by are those of the country it's hosted in… Which in this case appears to be Russia. If the site admins have used local laws in their country as justification for removing content it's a courtesy not an expectation.
Actually, no… The domain is Russian, however the site is hosted elsewhere.
Another common method is taking a video and re-encoding it in a different format container so that they can re-upload the same content in a different format container and make sure that it's an "original" upload in every way possible.
That is definitely the tail wagging the dog. One would have to be very desperate for upload credit to go to all that trouble that is of no benefit except to themselves because that content already exists in a different container. Even then, one might only get credit equal to a single complete upload and then no more ever. SAD!
Sounds like someone's got a case of the Mondays! LOL
For me, I don't care. I have a strong ratio, and I'm not worried about missing some upload credits. But if the original torrent uploader is in "ratio jail" and needs the upload credit, it's nasty. I don't know how to address this other than appealing to users' better nature…which for some people is probably futile.
The tail (ratio) is wagging the dog (sharing files). If someone can help seed a file, that's exactly what they're supposed to do. No one, not even the original uploader, has the right to be the seeder and get the upload credit. That's not the way torrenting works.
However, I think it is rare that someone jumps on a new torrent with the completed file like that. Why would they do that instead of creating their own torrent in the first place, since they already have the file? Why look at an unlikely cause and try to blame someone when there are much more likely causes? Paranoia? Are people really downloading files and then sitting around waiting for someone else to create a torrent of the file here so they can jump on and grab the credit?
It may look like it is happening because of a problem with the statistics. Maybe the original seeder is not getting credit he has earned because it is not registering or maybe there is a delay in the credit showing.
I have not uploaded many original torrents but when I have, it almost always has been the case that I get to a ratio of 1.0 or a little over and then other seeders take over. Later on I may get more credit. That's simply the nature of torrenting.
Why does it happen? Maybe because my internet connection is not as fast as most? It doesn't matter, the file is being shared, which is the purpose of torrenting. My ratio is not as important as sharing.
Actually, it happens surprisingly often. You wouldn't think it, but it does happen surprisingly often. This is why a number of my uploads consist of material that I have digitized from VHS format myself. This ensures that only I have the exact copy until the upload is complete, even if someone already has a copy of the video, it's guaranteed not to be an exact copy. That is about the ONLY sure fire way to make sure that nobody can possibly have the same video. Another common method is taking a video and re-encoding it in a different format container so that they can re-upload the same content in a different format container and make sure that it's an "original" upload in every way possible.
For some reason, I think this user may actually be able to send an invite… Strange, as I am not able to currently.
Try this link: https://www.gaytorrent.ru/invite.php
It should be what you're looking for.
Just to be clear, we take the privacy of our users very seriously. As such, we take complaints of revenge porn very seriously. In fact, under Canadian law where I am, The Criminal Code of Canada s.162.1(1)(a) is very clear that revenge porn is a federal crime, and that it is punishable by up to 5 years in prison. Many other commonwealth countries have similar laws surrounding the subject. This is a large part of why we take these claims seriously.
There are a few things that can cause this to happen. First, we need to see if you are able to reach the tracker back end. To do this, open the following link:
https://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/stmdd
Does this page open a statistics page, or does the page fail to load?
For that matter, when you open uTorrent, click on a torrent, then click the "Trackers" tab, what is the status message that appears there next to the tracker information?
Can't leech/seed anything
Can open https://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/stmdd no problem
Disabled SSL tracker and rebooted everything still not working :cry2:
Help?
same, trying to reseed but my client shows "Scrape error: Tracker gave HTTP response code 404 (Not Found)"
Scrape is a feature that is used while your torrents are not active. This is something different altogether.
@OP: What status message do you get from the tracker? You can usually find this by clicking on a torrent, then clicking the "Trackers" tab to see the message.
It is also possible that this could be due to a delay. See, your torrent client only updates with the tracker once every 30 minutes. If you completed seeding the torrent, but your torrent client has not updated with the tracker yet, it could be that the data just hasn't been updated yet, but will be the next time your torrent client refreshes with the tracker.
For security reasons, we have temporarily closed all sign ups. This includes invites from a power user, and the referral link. We do not know when we will be able to restore these features.
So after I upload the file, before it will be visible/available for others, I must download the torrent and begin seeding. Right? I did that. Now the torrent should begin seeding and others should also be able to download it. Except the status reads "finding peers 0.0%" and never progresses from this stage.
It might be important that I note, in the "tracker status" column next to the torrent it says "your download rights got taken. read the rules.. yada yada"… Being new to this, I made the mistake of not managing my ratio from the start and now I have lost my download rights. SO does this mean I am unable to complete the step where I am supposed to download my torrent so that it can be visible on the site?
I know this will all become more clear with a little help, and I thank anyone who can offer me some in advance
This is a sign that you did not point your torrent client to the contents of the torrent. To fix this, remove the torrent from your torrent client, then copy the contents of the torrent to the folder where your torrent client downloads to by default, THEN add the torrent to your torrent client.
Hello everyone
To all members who downloaded this torrent or still have the file on their devices, please reseed it as I can't find it anywhere outside gaytorrent.ru
Torrent name: Magic Moments
https://www.gaytorrent.ru/details.php?id=4b71ff6b83d7b39387978b0978a8fecfbfb12e45b1320b18
Than you. It's totally unnecessary to make a forum post about this. Just click the request reseed button on the page and a message goes out to everyone who downloaded it. Anyone your post would apply to would get the message plus an email if their settings allow for email notification of messages.
Actually, not with this torrent. The torrent pre-dates a server crash, so we do not have any snatch details for the torrent any longer.
This is very strange… I have had no such issue all day.
You can't with uTorrent Web. Instead, we recommend using Transmission. It is also compatible with Catalina.
It should also be noted that if you do not download 100% of ALL of the files in the torrent, the system will forever show you as "leeching" the torrent, even though your torrent client will say that you're "seeding" what you have.
It appears that another staff member beat me to your request. It is now freeleech.
