@di3di3di3 This sounds like a port forwarding issue. To fix this, you need to make sure that the port that your torrent client uses is forwarded through your home router or VPN to your computer, both in TCP and UDP. This is a critical and necessary step to getting proper upload traffic.

RE: Increase Your Current Ratio
@dat1hungdude There's another critical step involved. You need to make sure that the port that your torrent client uses is forwarded through your home router (or VPN if you use a VPN) to your computer, both in TCP and UDP. This is a very critical step for ensuring that things will work the way you want them to.

RE: Sometimes I'd love to be a Wine Bottle !
@amigaopira Is this a video like 1 man 1 jar?

RE: Seeding doens't count towards "uploaded"
There are a few things to consider... First, if you stop then restart the torrent for any reason, the stats in your profile against the torrent will reset to zero as they show the current session stats and not the total stats like your torrent client does. Second, your torrent client only updates with the tracker once every 30 minutes. For this reason, there is a delay in the stats being updated to the site, which can cause what may appear to be a discrepancy.

RE: Is Utorrent being phased out?
@john32123666 Yeah... that's why I got a clean copy and put it on my server so that when people need it, they can download it from me haha.

RE: Can't download file from Torrent
@Guadeloupe-0 I think the problem is with the torrent client you are using as they both work just fine on my end.
-
RE: Torrents are not downloading
@gavobear Try turning off the SSL tracker in your profile.
-
RE: Can't download file from Torrent
@Guadeloupe-0 Do you have the URL for these torrent(s)?
-
RE: Another case of we know who did it because they won't tell us
@raphjd I can understand not releasing the name of the attacker because they're technically a minor, but not releasing any information about the attacker that would reveal race or ethnicity tells me loud and clear that they are NOT white.

RE: All downloads from site stuck on "connecting to peers" suddently
@jiggashaolin There are a number of things that can cause this. For a more informative answer you need to check the tracker status message. It will likely display an error. That error message will give us an indication of where to look for the problem.
The most common issue for a lot of people is the HTTPS tracker. Have you tried turning the SSL tracker OFF in your profile settings?

RE: HELP MY TORRENT WAS REMOVED FROM THE SITE
@blablarg18 I mean... He can demand anything that he wants, but that doesn't mean we have to comply.
Usually, my response to such demands is to tell them to file a complaint by calling 1-800-EAT-SHIT lol

RE: HELP MY TORRENT WAS REMOVED FROM THE SITE
@makigott It appears that this torrent is under review for potential age problems. Our verification team is looking into it. If this torrent is as you say, it will be restored.

RE: Seems to me that...
@john32123666 Someone will eventually get to them... Usually when one is reuploaded. Most of those torrents seem to be from about 2016, so they're quite old.
-
RE: Seems to me that...
@eobox91103 Yes... When the original is dead, we often still get a duplicate report, but we delete the original because it's long ago dead and not able to be brought back.

RE: Seems to me that...
@lololulu19 The reseed button will only be available under some circumstances. If there are no snatchers still in the list (ie the torrent pre dates a server crash where a lot of that information was lost), the button may not be available.
-
RE: How do you move a re seed back up the list?
@mavica Usually freeleech as we no longer promote torrents to the top of the list. Depending on a few factors, you may also be able to ask staff such as myself to freeleech it for you if you give them the torrent URL
