@lololulu19 Some VPN providers also have a DPI firewall option, which will not only use TCP 443 instead of the default UDP 1194, but will also block DPI systems from determining that the traffic is actually VPN traffic.

RE: This might be important information for accessing this site..
@lololulu19 This is because they try to censor P2P traffic across their network. If you have a VPN like PrivateVPN, you can connect to the VPN using port TCP 443 to evade their port restrictions and packet sniffing, then open your torrent client, and it should give you no problems.
The key is using TCP 443... Traditional VPN connections can be filtered based on port, however you cannot realistically censor or block port TCP 443 without blocking most of the internet.

RE: Torrent upload not starting/uploading, despite leechers
This is usually a sign of improper port forwarding. You need to make sure that the port that your torrent client uses is forwarded through your home network or VPN to your computer. This is a critical step to being able to get proper upload traffic.

RE: Genuine question for the mods: WTF is up with this video????
@jokuihmemies Except that this is the same user... I have revoked their upload rights again, as they keep repeating the same infractions, despite multiple warnings.

RE: Torrent and Support Menus Not Working
This is very interesting... The system admin must have been doing something. I see that even on a regular user account, these things are all up and running. If you're still having a problem, let me know.

RE: The Second Coming
@lololulu19 If you're going to compare Trump to Jesus, I'll leave it at this....
Nail him up to a cross and let him die... If he comes back in 3 days. I'll admit I was wrong.

RE: About the size of pictures
@Douseikekkon There is a system for uploaded pictures, and it's a human review process. That said though, there is no screening for pictures uploaded with the initial upload

RE: there is something wrong with the tracker
@ianfontinell-0 I do not see any torrents active at the moment, so I can't tell what data is being reported to the tracker. It may be possible that your passkey has been compromised.
-
RE: You are not allowed to upload more pictures...
There is a maximum for pictures when adding pictures. Once this limit is reached, you'll get this error.
If the torrent doesn't seem to have many pics, it's likely that the torrent has pictures attached to it that are pending approval by staff.

RE: Why Am I not seeding like before?
@MuscleLv1972 We recommend checking out portforward.com

RE: Why Am I not seeding like before?
@MuscleLv1972 This sounds like a port forwarding issue. For proper upload results, you need to make sure the port your torrent client uses is forwarded through your home router to your computer, both in TCP and UDP in order to get proper upload traffic.

RE: Utorrent stopped downloading without explanations
@schoenebergi It may have been something that changed server side....
-
RE: Utorrent stopped downloading without explanations
@lololulu19 Anyone who gets their hands on it can download torrents as you, without the need for your account password
-
RE: Utorrent stopped downloading without explanations
@schoenebergi Interesting... You usually only see that error when trying to scrape the torrent which is what happens when the torrent is inactive. This error is normal for trying to scrape, as we do not support the scrape. I wonder if something in your settings has changed somehow.

RE: Utorrent stopped downloading without explanations
@schoenebergi I took out the pic as it contains your passkey, but the non HTTPS tracker actually starts

RE: Utorrent stopped downloading without explanations
@schoenebergi Just out of curiosity, when you disable the SSL tracker on the one that's not working, or try changing the tracker URL to the non SSL tracker does it start working for you?

RE: Utorrent stopped downloading without explanations
@schoenebergi This is interesting, as I still use uTorrent 2.2.1 and have never had such an issue. I think the issue may be ISP or back end carrier related.

RE: Utorrent stopped downloading without explanations
@ianfontinell-0 I'm not seeing anything in @leo2003 's profile that would prevent him from downloading. What I suspect is that something may be getting filtered by his ISP.
To test this theory, I would recommend trying to pull up this link in a web browser.
https://tracker.gaytor.rent/stmdd/
If this link pulls up a stats page, then connecting to the tracker's back end is possible, but the issue may lie somewhere else.
Another approach to test this theory is to use a VPN to route around any filtering or blockade that his ISP or country may be putting into place. In some cases, connecting to the back end will work, however other actions on the connection are blocked, as they are seen as P2P traffic on the network.
I will also do an account reset to see if something on our end may be causing this issue.

RE: Issue with new torrent actually sharing to peers
There is a big difference between reuploading a torrent and re-seeding a torrent. Reuploading can result in the torrent getting taken down for being a duplicate.

RE: Not uploading?
@blablarg18 I use PrivateVPN... They support port forwarding of ONE port on ALL servers, and on some, support port forwarding of ALL ports.
