It should also be noted that if you do not download 100% of ALL of the files in the torrent, the system will forever show you as "leeching" the torrent, even though your torrent client will say that you're "seeding" what you have.

RE: Freeleech Pls !!!
It appears that another staff member beat me to your request. It is now freeleech.

RE: Why is my seeding speed 0?
Not being connectable means that your router is not correctly configured to forward the port that your torrent client uses through to your computer, both in TCP and in UDP.
I do not see you as seeding any torrents now, so it would be hard to see if there's more to your situation than just that.

RE: How do I contact uploader of certain torrent?
As a general rule, once a torrent has been taken down, there is not much that you can really do. What I'm getting at is that once a torrent is taken down, even staff have no way of being able to trace the uploader of a torrent. The best you could do would be to try posting in the requests section and hope that someone bites on your request.

RE: Help with VPN (cannot connect to the tracker)
Port forwarding can definitely affect your ability to get upload traffic. In some cases, it can seem nearly impossible to get upload traffic without the correct port forwarding settings. You need to be sure that the port your torrent client uses is forwarded through your home router or VPN to your computer, both in TCP and in UDP.

RE: Help with VPN (cannot connect to the tracker)
Are you using Transmission 3.0 by chance? Some users have had to roll back to the previous version (2.94) to be able to work with the SSL tracker.
As for the blocking, there's not much we can do, as the DDoS protection is a 3rd party service, for which we are not able to configure or tweak.
I'm using qBitorrent v4.2.5.
Are you able to get a stats page when you open this link?

RE: Tracker offline?
This means that you are not able to connect to the tracker's back end, which is where your problem is coming in. The only solution for this is a VPN service. I usually recommend Private VPN, as it is what a number of our staff use.

RE: Tracker offline (Timed out)
No such protection or filtering service is ever perfect. Also, as it is a 3rd party service, we have no control over the workings or configuration of the software, so there's not really much that we can do. It was the only way to be able to stay alive and online.

RE: Reseed
Also as a general rule, we require the URL of the torrent(s) that you're looking for help with. You can either provide this here, or you can PM me.

RE: Tracker offline (Timed out)
I dont understand. How is the ddos protection blocking me SOMETIMES and sometimes not? Like if I download a torrent file, sometimes it starts downloading, sometimes I have to wait 1-7 days before it starts. Explain how the DDOS is blocking me but sometimes let me download?
Can you just UNDO what you did with the ddos protection? You are blocking normal users and not ddosers.
Unfortunately, some valid traffic that should be getting through is not. We installed the DDoS protection because before it was installed, we were being subjected to DDoS attacks that were taking down ALL users. Without this protection, our site and tracker would not be able to work at all for anyone.

RE: Tracker offline?
Hi !!
I also have this problem… :cry2:
I can't connect to https://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/stmdd or the tracker.
sometimes the tracker says not working, but download anyway.
tried the ssl thing with no success, also with vpn and without
with vpn https://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/stmdd sometimes work, like 1 of 10 tries
without vpn not working
i'm using qbitorrent by the way
thanks!!
You may need a different VPN provider as not being able to open that link means you are unable to connect to the tracker's back end.
I cant seed anymore. It takes DAYS before it connects and downloads. And by that time, everyone already downloaded it so I cant seed it. It will ruin my ration in the long run.
Can you just find and fix the issue? Obviously something is still wrong. I tried both with and without SSL. Same thing in both cases. Other trackers works fine without any issues.
What is the error message you are getting from the tracker? Also, are you able to open this link?
https://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/stmdd
Also, have you tried turning off the SSL tracker?

RE: Downloading if ratio drops below minimum
When you fall below your minimum ratio, you will be limited to two downloads at a time I think it is. That said however, you will still be able to upload and seed without any issues for content that you have already downloaded or are uploading as a new torrent.

RE: Tracker offline (Timed out)
NordVPN and Surfshark are two VPNs from which we have had countless reports of users not being able to connect with. Many of our staff use Private VPN as our VPN provider. They offer port forwarding for ONE port on most of their servers, and for a rather decent number of their servers, they support dedicated IP addresses, which forward ALL ports through to your computer, so you don't have to keep changing your port number every time you connect.

RE: Seeding Torrents
Hmm, I still find this a bit confusing. Lemme see if I understood it right:
-Turn folder into .torrent and upload
-Re-download said .torrent into folder once again
-Use BitTorrent to seed the fileSorry for any bother this may cause. I've looked at guides and videos for torrenting, but it still confuses me. I just wanna uphold my end of the website agreement
You only download the .torrent file, as the .torrent file you get from the site will have the correct tracker information in it, which will identify your account to the system with your passkey. This is different from downloading the contents of the torrent. Since you're uploading the content, you only use the .torrent file with the content you already have to seed the torrent. By default, if the contents of the torrent are in the default folder for torrent downloads, it will go straight into seeding mode right away for you, without you needing to tell your torrent client where to find the contents of the torrent.

RE: Tracker offline (Timed out)
It is likely that you're not able to connect to the tracker's back end due to the DDoS protection. To find out if this is the case, try visiting the following URL in your web browser:
https://tracker.gaytorrent.ru/stmdd
If you see a page with stats, then you can connect to the back end. If you can't open the page, then you are unable to connect to the tracker's back end, and may need to use a VPN to route around the issue.

RE: Tracker - could not connect
If turning off the SSL tracker solves the problem, it is likely that your torrent client is choking on the SSL tracker. First, try closing your torrent client and rebooting your computer. If you still are unable to connect with the SSL tracker, you may need to change torrent clients, or simply leave the SSL disabled.

RE: Can I use VPN?
No… You can have multiple IP addresses on one account. You just can't use more than one account on the same IP address. With VPN users, it is not all that common to get falsely flagged. Proxy servers on the other hand are a different ball of wax, due to the difference in the way that they work.

RE: Trying to Seed, but no peers connect
FWIW: You need to make sure that the port that your torrent client uses is forwarded through your home router or VPN to your computer, both in TCP and in UDP. This is a critical, yet often overlooked step, which is necessary to be able to get upload traffic.
