Please report these torrents when you see them. Padding files are NOT allowed as technically, they inflate the size of the torrent, which is not allowed. We allow content, but we do not allow bloat like that.

Neither of these are a problem as they are not requesting content to be posted. Asking for where to find content already uploaded is not the same as requesting that content be uploaded. Also, asking where a clip is from is not an issue as long as you do not ask that the clip be uploaded.

@john32123666 I would encourage you (and all users really) to report such instances. Sometimes we don't always see the comments on a torrent right away. When they're reported, that sends me down a rabbit hole to poke through all the comments the user has made on all the torrents and scrub the history. A lot of times, this results in multiple users getting nailed, as other users may leave request comments on other torrents the user has commented on, or more than one user has requested something.

@Thesock Usually this kind of thing happens when your torrent client reports data to the tracker after the freeleech has ended on the torrent. See, your torrent client only updates with the tracker once every 30 minutes for each torrent. Even though your torrent client may have completed the torrent BEFORE the period expired, if the data is not reported to the tracker until after the freeleech has ended, the traffic can end up getting counted towards your totals.

In your case, the timeline works as follows:

24 hour freeleech: 2023-09-11 09:02:23
Freeleech end: 2023-09-12 09:02:23
Torrent completed: 2023-09-12 14:22:27
24 hour freeleech: 2023-09-12 16:45:12

So.... Any data reported to the tracker between 2023-09-12 09:02:23 and 2023-09-12 16:45:12 would have been counted towards your totals. This is not a glitch. This is how it's always been.

@jemoenn To answer your two questions....

1. You can download the .torrent file to anywhere you want. You can delete the .torrent file after you reseed it, just do not remove the torrent from uTorrent or delete the file(s) for the torrent.

2. Right click the torrent, then click "Force Re-Check"

@citydwelleer-0 We recommend uTorrent. The only issue with it is that the latest version (3.6.0) has known compatibility issues with our systems. For this reason, we advise not to install uTorrent beyond the previous version (3.5.5).

@smbchguy Yes... Requests for content are not allowed anywhere on the site. This includes the forums and torrent comments.

As for where to make such a request, I do not know where this could be done off hand as it would be a site separate from us.
