I don't know what health effects you're worried about.  I haven't heard of any serious side effects when used properly, except the isobutyl compounds, which are apparently carcinogenic and banned in Europe now, anyway.  Of course, mixing with Viagra or any other vasodilator is dangerous.

As for the sensation, it's difficult to describe exactly.  It feels to me a bit like being drunk on alcohol, except it only lasts a couple minutes.  While having sex, it definitely does change the experience.  I can't really explain how, though.  It's not something I use every time, but it definitely does feel nice from time to time.

Oh, if only that were true.  There are so many guys who either don't read your profile, or do but decide to hit on you anyway.  And then you get the ones whose profiles say they're only looking for friends, not interested in sex, and then their second or third sentence is an indecent proposal.

If you have an open sore or bleeding gums, you can catch HIV, yes.  Not sure about the eyeballs, but it may be possible.  Most other STDs are even easier to catch.
Of course, anything you can catch from semen you can also catch from pre-cum just from sucking, so swallowing or not doesn't necessarily make that much of a difference.
