BLMers are as marxist as Bernie.

Yet another NY Post hyperbolic and misleading story...

So, the person (not the group) who finagled this abuse of not-for-profit-organization money (doesn't matter if it's a liberal cause or a conservative one - it's a NFP organization!) has already resigned as a result of these things coming to light... resigned last year, and others involved are also either resigning or being forced out.

A legit story, yes - sure - in 2020 and maybe in 2021!
A little "old news" for 2022 tho...

This just in: famed Presidential dog Checkers has died...

Says the man who gets his news from Joy "I was hacked" Reid, The Root, Slate, and Salon, all of whom lied about Kyle Rittenhouse even after the court case claiming he murdered 3 black men. I'm still not sure where you heard that it happened in Chicago though, but it's probably something you just made up in your head.

The only person more infallible than the Great and Powerless @raphjd is the Orange and Fat One himself - yes, only He Who Must Be Named is more flawless than @raphjd!

Yes, I conflated 2 different stories... I said my mea culpas... weeks, no months, ago!

@raphjd said in Georgia Officials Tampered With and Deleted Hours of Ballot Box Video Before It Was Released to Investigators:

      @bi4smooth

You do love voter fraud when it's against Repubs, don't you?

I guess your real name is Brenda Snipes or one of the dirty bitches she replaced in Broward County.

You're entering into one of your "childish" periods again...

No one is in favor of voter fraud, but you make childish, absurd conclusions out of literally nothing!

      • Yes, there were isolated cases of real, and sometimes just attempted, voter fraud.
I don't care what election you point to: 1876, 1976, 2020, 2022! Yes! There is/was/will be some attempts at vote fraud... and some will even be successful!
      • BUT that doesn't mean that voting is a waste of time, nor that it cannot be trusted!
      • Statistics matter!

In 2016, Dems correctly pointed out that 50,000 mis-cast ballots in just 3 states could have tilted the election!

      • Were there 50,000 ballots that could have been vote fraud? sure - that sounds about right! For the whole country, but not for those 3 States.
      • If there were 50,000 ballots that could have swung the election, what are the odds that they'd ALL have been FOR Trump instead of Clinton? INCREDIBLY LOW!!
      • The fact is, vote fraud isn't PARTISAN! -- by which I mean that neither Dems nor Republicans have any significant edge in vote fraud schemes! They both have pretty much the same number of idiots who think their double-vote or forged ballot is going to make the difference... which means that about 40% of vote fraud favors Republicans, and about 40% of vote fraud favors Democrats - and the rest (about 20%) is non-partisan (like Judicial races) or are about 3d-party candidates.

The PROBLEM with any kind of mass vote fraud is that you have to find ways to beat the system... only there are over 3,000 separate "voting systems" spread across the US, and some 175,000 different voting precincts (most of which have DIFFERENT ballots (because of local races)!

So, think of it this way: you hack into the Dominion voting system, and insert codes that say voters who chose "slot 2" get counted less... only in some areas of the country "slot 2" is the Democrat, and in others it's the Republican... so you have to individually hack hundreds of machines in different locations to make a statistically significant "bump" in the results...

But then, you ALSO have to make it so your efforts go unnoticed! If Trump suddenly wins - even only by a hair - in places like San Francisco, CA - well, alarm bells will go off, and you'll get caught!

And then there's the problem with the "paper trail" - those computers that do the counting don't have printers in them... and some statistical sampling is always done, where they "validate" the machine count with a hand-count...

Holy smokes, it's almost like some really smart people actually thought through these things!

      Almost....

      • Apr 2, 2020: wearing a mask should be a personal choice, but people should wear them
      • May 21, 2020: I wore a mask earlier, but I'm not wearing one now because I don't want the press to see me wearing a mask
      • July 21, 2020: "America's youth will act responsibly, and we're asking everybody that when you are not able to socially distance, wear a mask, get a mask. Whether you like the mask or not, they have an impact. They'll have an effect. And we need everything we can get."
      • July 31, 2020: Wear a mask when you cannot avoid crowded places or socially distance.
      • Aug 3, 2020: [from Campaign email flyer] "We are all in this together, and while I know there has been some confusion surrounding the usage of face masks, I think it's something we should all try to do when we are not able to be socially distanced from others," the email reads. "I don't love wearing them either."
      • Aug 9, 2020: Wearing a mask is patriotic
      • Sep 10, 2020: (behind in polls, asked about golfers who joined him who did not wear masks) "They don't have to. It's a political activity. They have exceptions,"
      • Oct 2, 2020: (slipping more in the polls, asked about masks and Joe Biden) "I don't wear masks like him. Every time you see him, he's got a mask. He could be speaking 200 feet away from it, and he shows up with the biggest mask I've seen,"
      • Oct 11, 2020: The Trumps test positive for COVID-19

In the meantime, REAL scientists started telling us to wear masks in April, 2020 (prior to then, we/they really didn't understand how much the virus was spread by aerosol and not by contact (Remember wiping down your groceries? Remember using hand sanitizer every 15-minutes because you touched something? Remember the public service ads telling you to wash your hands 5x more often than usual?)

And they haven't stopped since then.

No whiplash for those of us who follow real science.

You want to know what's even more curious?

Are you "letting it side" because you expect NFP to spend most of their donation on over priced assets and high payrolls?
I guess the Liberals took cues from the Churches.

A real 501(c)(3) should be spending 90% - 95% of their donation on helping people in need not the other way around.

While that percentage is a bit on the "unrealistically high" side, I agree in principle that non-profits need careful watching... sadly, the IRS has been de-fanged and de-clawed - largely by Republicans, but also by some fat-cat Dems trying to save some dough...

But dude, to say that Liberal NPO's (Non-Profit Organizations) are any worse than Conservative ones is just being blind! The NRA hasn't been dirty?

So, @raphjd, you were hired by a company in 2019 to unclog their toilets, and they also employed, at the same time, a pedophile of the worst kind. I guess that makes you "linked to a pedophile", if you follow the logic of this story... ???

Maybe once I would let it pass but 5 different companies. That is a pattern. Maybe they were just selling their name to make investors think highly of the scam. There fee for services rendered was awarded as a contractor. That was they have plausible deniability.

Either way they are selling influence gained thru public office just like the Bidens and the Clintons and every other immoral politician who goes from middle class to one 1%ers in a few election cycles.

That is all this Green New Deal crap is awarding lucrative contracts to the donors of the Liberals. I am old enough to remember during the Clinton administration that all the science grant applications were rewritten to include the words climate change in order to receive funding.

You are paranoid and pathetic.... you know, your church was once let by a pedophile... so that makes you a pedophile supporter! Rot in hell!

A great deal of infrastructure spending had been considered pork belly spending or was doled out to buy votes on bills that should not pass.

Dude - I've been saying it from the start:

      • Infrastructure spending would be good
      • Infrastructure spending is long overdue
      • LACK of infrastructure has been a bi-partisan sport for decades: when the Dems were in control of the "Triad" (Presidency + both houses of Congress), when Republicans were in control of the "Triad", and when power was split... it was always the same: load it in there at the start, take it out at the end, and tell your constituents you'll try again "next term"...

No Trump-specific dis here... there's enough history of fault to go 'round!

And in fact, my "suspicion" here is that Biden's "team" setup this as a stunt to garner support for "Build Back Better"...

      Let me clarify something:

I'm not opposed to infrastructure spending... even "deficit spending" (which is a misnomer for reasons I've spelled out several times before)... gov't spending FOR THINGS (including for work-projects) is all well and good. People work the work, make the goods, and get paid fairly for them... economic activity is good!

What's more, our infrastructure really is crumbling at our feet, after DECADES of being overlooked and back-burnered!

That's not what I was "complaining" about in this post - I just think it's awfully "convenient" that a bridge - in the very city Biden is headed to, in all these United States, and on he very eve of his arrival - takes that precise moment to fail... and fail, not at a time of great stress, but in the pre-dawn hours, when traffic is pretty much at its lightest!

Do I think this bridge needed repairs? sure!
Do I think this bridge failed on its own? I'm not so sure!
And that is what I'm raising questions about - was this a "setup-job"? Was this a "demonstration"?

I won't make unfounded accusations - but I will ask the questions... and as noted, the NTSB is looking into this bridge collapse, so maybe - just maybe - we'll learn more! 🙂

      @geobear40

      They love their whataboutisms.

I predicted this exact thing. Before Trump even took office I predicted that liberals would demand that no one mention Obama after he leaves office, but once Trump left office, they would never shut up about him.

You clearly don't follow any liberal news outlets (I follow liberal, conservative, and moderate media!)...

My point being, as Saintly as Trump is to the Republicans, Obama is just as much so to the Dems... every utterance he makes generates headlines in their world! (Obama doesn't demand loyalty and fealty like Trump, but he actually GETS it from Dems - without the demands, threats & retaliatory "strikes" against those that would dare oppose even a single breath... something that likely eats away at Trump's ego nightly LOL)

The difference is that Obama followed the "old playbook" at the end of his term, and at least initially, tried to stay out of the spotlight. Trump LIVES FOR the spotlight!!! Now though, both fight for news coverage, even though BOTH are "old news"...

But, as much as @eobox91103 is correct in stating that Trump paid lip-service (and little else) to infrastructure issues, the exact same can be said of Obama before him, and even Bush and Clinton before them! Infrastructure woes are nothing new!

Putting off Infrastructure projects has been bi-partisan agreed-upon folly for decades now!

Can we NOT extend the vitriol and hatred of "the other side" to including their children (I don't care how old they are now)...

It was in bad-taste in the Kennedy-Nixon years, it was not tolerated in the Bush-Clinton-Bush-Obama years, and it shouldn't be tolerated now.

No, that doesn't mean Don, Jr or Eric, or Ivanka Trump "get a free pass" - they put themselves in the "public spotlight" themselves... But, Barron and Tiffany have done no such thing, and should be off-limits for this kind of trash.

    • NTSB to investigate Pittsburg bridge collapse just hours before Biden visit on BBB plan

ICYMI: Pres Biden, octogenarian leader of the free world, was slated to go to Pittsburgh, PA to talk about his "Build Back Better" Plan - the plan to re-build America and re-ignite inflation like we've never seen! (OK, the first part there is HIS, the latter part - about inflation - is mine.)

Literally HOURS before Biden arrives - to talk about our "crumbling" infrastructure, the Forbes Avenue Bridge near the very same Pittsburgh, PA mysteriously collapsed.

While the bridge was old (built in 1970), and had been rated in "poor" condition for the past 10 years, it was NOT seen as in any imminent danger at its last inspection in Sept (2021).

Sound a little "Luck 'o the Irish"? Just a little "fortuitous" to come just before Biden's visit?

Also, the bridge collapsed in the wee hours of the morning - even though it's a "major thoroughfare" in the area... not when there were dozens or even hundreds of cars and heavy trucks on it - no, when there was almost no-one on it!

Hmmm... couldn't have planned it better, no?

I'm no conspiracy theorist, but I see some red-flags here... this was just "too perfect a setup for Biden!

That said, I trust the NTSB to determine the cause - its what they do! If they say it was just dumb luck that it failed pre-dawn instead of mid-rush-hour, I'll take it... but it's definitely worth looking into!

With $billions already in the budgets to repair these kinds of things, I do not put it past politicians to "plan this out" this way... nobody gets hurt, and the nation "gets the message"

Time (and the NTSB) will tell...
