        @raphjd

        The only thing they should do with death row is execute them.

          @geobear40 again astounds me with his deeply thoughtful, logical, insightful responses...

          NOT!

          This is liberals doing what liberals do best! It's news in the same way that a dog taking a giant dump in the park is news! (Not that it shouldn't be reported - it's lunacy, and it should be reported... but you shouldn't act shocked by it!)

          Some facts:

          • Californians vote in 2016 to streamline the execution process, given that no CA inmate has been executed since 2006. BUT, Gov Newsome doesn't like the death penalty, so he hasn't signed any warrants for them...
          • Californians have repeatedly shown (in referendum after referendum) that they are in favor of prisons being PUNITIVE (punishment) for criminals, not CORRECTIVE (therapeutic) measures for them.BUT, Gov Newsome doesn't agree, and is going to turn "Death Row" into a "feelings room" or other kind of "safe space" for these poor souls, who just need personal growth, and someone who cares to turn their lives around!
          • Newsome plans to release death-row inmates into the general prison population.... All I have to say to that is: the original goal was to kill some inmates... maybe this is a more "democratic" (certainly a more Darwinian) way to do that?

          Hopefully, CA voters (the ones who want to PUNISH criminals, not CATER TO them!) will choose better in Nov!

            Does it make your feel warm and fuzzy to make such comments?

            They don't affect me at all. I find it interesting that you have to try to put people down in order to make yourself feel important.
