I'll see some videos here that are 3 GB to 6 GB for about an hour's worth of play.  My computer will not play these properly.  They will stutter or pixilate.  Sometimes the sound will get out of synch with the speaking.  I find it unwatchable.

I watch films that are about 80 to 100 minutes long compressed to about 700 MB all the time.  They play fine although sometimes scenes that are very dark are pixillated. Sounds like you might have a software issue.  Have you tried VLC media player?  https://www.videolan.org/

The statement "I need seedbonus points to fix my ratio and continue posting videos" is deliberately deceptive.  Ratio has no effect on ability to post videos.  Posting videos is by far the most efficient way to improve the ratio, much more efficient than begging for a few points here and there, so it's not even particularly helpful in that situation.

I said "deliberately deceptive" because when it was politely pointed out to him that it was not true, his only response was, "why so much drama ??"  I interpret that to mean, "Yes, I know and I am doing it on purpose, go away and leave me alone." It doesn't seem like a case of attacking an innocent newcomer.  He knows exactly what he's doing.

It's also wrong to make others think that if their ratio is bad, they can't post videos.

I see it as equivalent to a scamming beggar asking for change (seedbonus points) to buy food for other people (posting videos) when they really plan to use it to buy drugs for personal use (download videos).  It's even worse because in this case, the change being solicited can't be used to buy food at all, only drugs, because food is free.

For me, it's more useful to be able to search for free leech torrents within categories I'm interested in because there are usually 300 to 600 free leech torrents at any particular time.

You could use the browse feature and choose the "interracial" category and then look at the photos until you find what you're looking for.

I am very careful with anything that might even possibly be thought to be kiddie porn even if it clearly is not.  For instance, videos with "boy" in the title, like CockyBoys.  It would be reasonable for that to set off a red flag for either software or a person checking for kiddie porn.  I wouldn't want to deal with that situation even if it ended up okay.  I have ended up on websites with videos of mostly very young looking guys and always leave immediately because I feel uncomfortable about what might be there.  Of course, it helps that I don't want to look at guys who look like they're under 21 in the first place.

With major studios who have a legal records notice at the beginning of the video, it's not such a big worry, but if not, be very careful.  If an actor looks young and it is an amateur video or a video from Eastern Europe or Russia or similar that is not from a major studio, I wouldn't take the risk.  There are plenty of other videos out there that wouldn't cause trouble.

It's not just a matter of not wanting to get into trouble.  It's also important not to encourage exploitation of minors.  Even if it were legal and voluntary, I don't think it would be good for very young people.  I even worry about some of the actors who are in their early 20s who obviously make some bad choices in life and end up dead or in prison.

The tracker sees you as a leecher if you download and then seed only some of the files in a multi-file torrent.  My preference is for smaller torrents so that I am more likely to download the whole thing so I will be seen a seeder and not as an eternal leecher.  This is one of my pet peeves with torrenting but apparently it is just the way it works and has nothing to do with gaytorrent.ru in particular.  Eventually, I have to stop seeding it temporarily or permanently.  Right now, I am supposedly downloading ten torrents.  Two have no seeders and I'm just hoping one will appear but eight are collections that I've partially downloaded and I'm actually partially seeding them rather than actively leeching.  They still count against the limit of the total number of torrents that I can download simultaneously.

It is unlikely that one downloader will want more than one file out of a selection of different quality versions of the same video.  Best practice from my viewpoint would be for those to be separate torrents.  I prefer higher quality torrents and before I download a file, I always search to see what other sizes may be available on the site so I can choose the torrent with the highest quality.  You could also put in your description of each file information about the other related files.

The few times I have downloaded a file from a multi-file torrent of the same video of varying quality, I stopped seeding after a week or two and deleted the torrent to keep the one file that I wanted.  I would have preferred to keep seeding indefinitely but don't want to that torrent to count as downloading indefinitely.

As far as collections of videos, a 5 GB collection of five 1 GB videos is reasonable, especially if they are a very closely-related collection such as the same two actors filmed in a sequence of videos on the same day.  If the collection is one actor paired with other actors in various scenes in different locations on different days, it is slightly less likely that someone would want all five videos.  If it is various scenes of various actors from a single studio or a complete site rip as a theme, it is even less likely that someone will want all of the videos.  Also, the more videos in a torrent, regardless of how closely related they are by theme, the less likely it is that someone will want them all.

A side effect of downloading only some of the files in a multi-file torrent is that the BitTorrent client will download small amounts of adjacent files on the list and then reserve space for those entire files on my hard drive even though I'm not actually downloading them at all.  My drives are usually close to full, so that is irritating.  I don't want a 1 GB file to use up 2 GB on my drive because space is reserved for adjacent files on the list of files in the torrent.  The only way to take care of that is to stop seeding and delete the torrent, move the complete file that I downloaded and want, and delete the partial files that were adjacent.

I don't think that BitTorrent clients discriminate against peers with partial files.  Some more advanced ones even take into account which downloading peers have which parts to be more efficient.  Speed shouldn't be affected.  (Someone with more knowledge please correct me on this if I'm wrong.)

This may be controversial, so you might want to check with a moderator, but if you upload a multi-file torrent, it is likely that someone desperate to improve their ratio will come along and break it up into individual torrents and then upload all of them separately.  Someone might also only want one of the files and then decide to make and upload a torrent of it.  So, you might want to go ahead and do it yourself if you are uploading a multi-file torrent.  I don't know if there is a formal rule or even an informal etiquette rule prohibiting that, so again, you might want to run it past a moderator.

If you CLICK on the camera icon, it goes immediately into a slide show of the full-size photos.  Then when you close the slide show, it goes back to the browse page rather than the torrent page.

Clearly there was someone, somewhere who seeded the file to me, but I can't imagine that I am only one of two people who wish to view these files.

There are a LOT of files available and it seems that the ones in the "Most Popular Torrents" list stay popular because they're on that list.  New files and freeleech files also seem to get a lot of traffic.  I have many files that I've downloaded that have never had any upload traffic.  Sometimes one like that will attract a downloader after a few years and many times I'm the only seeder at that point, so don't give up hope on those as long as you still want to keep the video.

I have downloaded torrents and wait upto two months after download to see if I can obtain the file before deleting the torrent, as there are so many dead torrents on the site, mcu more than I have ever seen before.

Occasionally I have obtained a dead file by being patient over a period of months.  Sometimes a single seeder will eventually connect for a short time and I snatch a bit and then a week later a little more, etc.  Some people don't seed regularly for whatever reason.  When I am out of town, I don't seed at all and sometimes that is for a month or more and there are a couple of hundred files for which I'm the only seeder.

You can also ask for a reseed on the page for that torrent.   I have only rarely had luck with that but it does work every once in a while.  It takes a day or two for people to get the messages, though, and it seems just as likely that they are just seeding intermittently and the messages have nothing to do with it.

If the problem is that there are only one or two seeders and I am not connecting to them, using points to make the torrent freeleech has almost always worked by attracting additional peers that I can connect to.  Sometimes renewing my internet connection (turning the modem off and then back on) or closing my torrent software and then reopening it helps connect to seeders for whatever reason.

I have the files on a standalone server on a 400 Mbps connection, with no proxy.

Seems to me that any problem with your internet connection, proxy settings, etc. would affect either all of your torrents or none of them, so that's probably not an issue.

I'm not a wealthy man, and the donation page says 100€ to restore my ratio. However unless I change my viewing habits, or cease to use the site for downloads, this will only last a few weeks at most before my eclectic tastes once again put me on the naughty step.

If you are really in trouble with your ratio and are going to get cut off, then PM me with a link to a torrent you've uploaded and I will give you some seed points on that page as a thank you for uploading it and then you can use the points to buy upload credit.

Total Seed Bonus is the total number of points you currently have available to use.  Everything else has already been added to or subtracted from the Total Seed Bonus.

Gift Seed Bonus is what others have given to you and those points ARE already included in Total Seed Bonus.

Given Seed Bonus is what you have given to others and they have already been deducted from Total Seed Bonus.

Picture, Category Vote, Referer Signup, Forum Topic, and Forum Posts Bonuses are points you've earned with those activities and they are also already included in your Total Seed Bonus.

I wanted to seed the videos I got from this site so I kept them where they've been downloaded and ran the client(Bitcomet), but it barely uploads anything except those videos which are originally uploaded by me. For those videos originally uploaded by me, it seems that I only seeded them for the first downloads, after that the upload speed is always 0kb even when others keep downloading that file.

That's not unusual.  I have about 1,500 files active on an external hard drive and sometimes none of them are being downloaded.  That's expected as new videos are the most popular.  The popular videos also have many seeders.  I have found that it helps to occasionally close the torrent client software and then start it again or at least to update the trackers.

Very often I download a file with only one or two seeders and sometimes I download a "dead" file over a period of weeks because there is only occasionally a single seeder, probably because they don't seed unless they are downloading.  So it is helpful to keep seeding even if there are no downloaders for long periods of time because someone at some point will likely want that file.

If a higher quality file is available later, sometimes I download the new, better one and delete the older, lower quality file.

One possible reason is that you are part of a large swarm of downloaders who complete the download at about the same time with a lot of sharing between them.  Then there is only an occasional downloader who is downloading from the many seeders so you only provide a relatively small contribution. This happens a lot with new torrents.

Even when I am the initial seeder of a file, I sometimes only upload 100% or a bit over that to multiple downloaders combined and then new downloaders' clients prefer the other seeders.  That's just the way it works out sometimes because of the nature of torrenting.  The trackers and clients are very efficient.

Psychopathic killers (which would include Jack The Ripper and the many school shooters) don't become psychopathic because they read a book, watched a film, or played a video game.  They are already psychopaths.  The 99.something percent of people who consume the same media do NOT become psychopathic killers because they are not psychopaths in the first place.  Many of the violent young men in the news have schizophrenia or other severe psychiatric problems.

It is true that media often provides inspiration about how to actually kill.  In particular, most if not all school shooters copycat previous school shooters.  It would be strange if they didn't learn from others who did the same thing previously.  We all do that with everything from speech to cooking lunch.  Just because they're psychopaths doesn't mean they're dumb.

Even a suicide will trigger emulation suicides but only in those who are suicidal.

It's going way too far to blame Robert Louis Stevenson and Steven King for even a single death, although you might attribute some blame to them for the way the killings were carried out.

You're right, multi-word search is working right now for me, too, but it was not working 12 hours ago.  Two words, no results, even if the exact phrase was in the title and each word was present individually.  I even tried it with underscore instead of a space.

You are correct that about dead torrents but that's not the problem.

YES, that's exactly the way it works, and NO, sorry, there is no "work-around" this (design of torrents) issue.

Either download the entire collection, or stop seeding it… are the only remedies.

Okay, thank you.  At least it won't bug me so much in the future when it happens, now that I know there is no way to "fix" it.  A couple of those were unregistered torrents anyway, so I just removed them from the torrent software completely.
