When a torrent is a collection of videos and I download only some of the videos and then seed them without trying to download any more of the videos in the torrent, the torrent still shows as leeching and counts against the total number of torrents that I'm allowed to download simultaneously.  Sometimes I have to pause a couple of those collections to stop seeding in order to be able to download a new torrent.  It's not that big of a deal but if it is something that could be fixed relatively easily at some point, that would be nice!

YES, that's exactly the way it works, and NO, sorry, there is no "work-around" this (design of torrents) issue.

Either download the entire collection, or stop seeding it… are the only remedies.

        Take care,

Okay, thank you.  At least it won't bug me so much in the future when it happens, now that I know there is no way to "fix" it.  A couple of those were unregistered torrents anyway, so I just removed them from the torrent software completely.

I was wondering, if lets say I download 1 file that is 1 GB from a collection with a total size  of 10 GB, does that count as only 1 GB downloaded towards my ratio or 10 gb still?

Just what you actually download, 1 GB.
