Yay!  Thanks for posting that because I had been looking for subtitles or a version with subtitles.  Downloaded it today.  Can someone report back about what the deleted scenes that are included show as the version I downloaded doesn't have them?  Are they worth re-downloading the entire video?

It doesn't seem to allow them to sign up for a free account, just a chance to enter a lottery to perhaps win a free account.  There is also a link to buy an account on that page.

Seems like it may have changed since you started posting your affiliate links.  No doubt the site is much more expensive to maintain now that there are so many members.  Maybe that is a way to increase income to pay for hosting and screen out new members who will download as much as possible without seeding, make demands for others to provide them with particular videos, and then whine on the forum about how it is impossible for anyone to maintain a good ratio so they won't use this site any longer.

Maybe when the site was smaller, more members were needed so sign-ups were open to all, but at this point, there is no reason to give out free accounts to anyone who wants one, especially since members can provided an unlimited number of invitations using their seed bonus points.

Try the Help Desk function to ask a mod about it because I have never used the affiliate links and what I am saying is just a combination of observation and conjecture.

I wanted to watch that film after seeing it here and looked for English subs on sub sites and versions with English subs on other torrent sites that I use but came up with zip.  Since it has English subtitles somewhere now and is streaming, hopefully it will eventually show up as a torrent somewhere.  Sorry, I don't know how to save it.  The browser add-ons I've used for that in the past have all been disabled for violating Google's terms.

Unfortunately there's no requirement about quality.  Some people even upload the same video in different resolutions.  There are some people who watch videos on their phone or tablet or who have slow internet connections or not a lot of storage who might prefer a smaller file.

Personally, I had rather have a few 1080p videos rather than a bunch of 480p videos.   I don't generally download anything less than 720p unless it is super special such as a favorite porn actor in an older video for which no higher quality version exists.   So if you posted only 480p videos, I would not download any.

Also consider NOT creating a huge torrent of 400 GB or even 50 GB.  It's likely no one will want to download it all so it will have no seeders except for you.  If someone downloads just a few files and continues seeding them, it will register as a leeching torrent and take up one of their download slots.  With a torrent that large, no one will spend the points to make it freeleech.  Some of those videos are probably already available here, anyway.  You will probably not be able to describe each video adequately and upload photos of each one.  And there are many other reasons that large torrents are a problem.

So consider that it might be better to create separate torrents for higher quality files rather than a huge torrent of lesser quality files.

It's not a translation but an alternative title.  Very frequently films are given different names for different markets, especially when there is a language difference but sometimes even in the U.S. vs. the UK.

Meine Schwiegertochter ist ein Mann is a German made-for-television comedy for general viewing audiences.  In the U.S., foreign-language films are not considered suitable for the mass market and are released in just a few urban "art-house" theaters plus on DVD or (these days) by streaming.  My Daughter-in-Law is a Man would not be an appealing name for a film with a mostly-LGBT+, English-speaking audience because it is from the viewpoint of the mother.  The chances of an average American seeing this film was almost zero and even for a gay man, there was never much of a chance.  Probably the only way to watch it in the U.S. today, so many years after release, is by torrenting.

He voted against bussing students to schools far from their homes in the 1970s.  It was a very controversial topic at the time and voting against it did not mean that person was racist or was actually in favor of segregation, just that they did not think it was appropriate to bus young children long distances as a means to remedy segregation and further integration.

The closest equivalent today to the bussing issue might be direct payments to descendants of slaves in reparation for slavery.  Voting against direct reparation would not mean that someone was in favor of slavery, just that they did not think that would be the best way to remedy the lasting effects of slavery and that the money might be better spent another way.

Be wary of attacks like this from right wing authoritarians that take things out of context, alter videos, and otherwise manipulate reality for propaganda purposes in order to gain or maintain power.  The fact that they are having to dig up things from 40+ years ago and take them out of context and lie about them should be a clue that they don't have anything better to attack Biden with.

Also contrast it with Trump's long and well-documented history of illegal housing discrimination, racism, etc.

Be careful if your software crashes or if you have to re-add the torrent file to your torrent client.  If the torrent client's settings for that torrent are lost, it might try to download the entire collection.  That has definitely happened to me.

Also, sometimes when downloading a file in a collection, small amounts of adjacent files may be downloaded, so your total download may be slightly larger than the file you actually downloaded.  Not a big deal but something that might add up if you downloaded ten different files in a fifty-file torrent.

An easy example of that is when downloading a film that has several subtitle files and a sample file, often the subtitle files and a portion of the sample file are downloaded even if they aren't checked.

I never heard of that.  Does anyone really need an excuse to have a party?  The idea of any kind of large group event to formally announce one's sexuality seems silly to me, but I think gender reveal parties are silly, too, so what do I know.  What if some of the people invited didn't know and aren't too happy about it or have a hard time dealing with it?  Is a party the best place to discuss it with them?
