@kco The "watermarking" is not necessarily visible. Check out Xvid AutoGraph technology. Several sites are reported to use this.

RE: Uploading a JustForFans siterip
@PrototypA5 Yes, that too.
See @ianfontinell's analogy. Also, keep in mind that this technology has been around for a few years now. People have been trying to defeat it using more sophisticated methods than have been mentioned here, more sophisticated methods than the ones that worked for earlier technologies. So far, there's no practical way to defeat it.

RE: Question about renaming files
@frostycab said in Question about renaming files:
I know that you're not supposed to (read "allowed to") rename files that you upload, but I was wondering if there's any leeway.
I'm a stickler for trying to organise my own collection to the best of my ability, so I'm curious about whether or not it's acceptable to rename some uploads to correct wrong information. For example, a file might appear somewhere that reads "2 hot twinks fucking on the bed.mp4" and a little bit of research shows it to be a studio file originally titled "<STUDIO> -<Twink A> and <Twink B> Enjoy a Cheeky Afternoon.mp4"
Would renaming it be forbidden? As long as it conforms to exactly the same title as the actual source of the file I'd regard it as an improvement, and would make it easier for people to find what they're actually looking for, but I understand if that's a problem here. Obviously nobody should use it as an excuse to upload duplicates of what's already here. It just strikes me that there are so many duplicates floating around with various names that give no hint as to what the original file pertains to.
Thoughts? I rename a lot of files in my own collection to make them easier to find, but I wouldn't want to fall foul of the rules if I ever uploaded anything.
Please rename like this... accurate information is always preferable. Also, the more detail about site, actors, etc. in the description/comments the better, as far as I'm concerned.

RE: Watched this over and over, who are they?
@Mabbo There are also three versions of the file available here, for example: https://www.gaytor.rent/details.php?id=fea5f4acaf9a2167fba031a2abda642553324932380ca113

RE: Torrent page says 1.19GB but my torrent is 1.28GB
@ianfontinell said in Torrent page says 1.19GB but my torrent is 1.28GB:
Since we're dealing with the word kilo that is used for international measurement, we'd assume that has a value of 1000. But since in this case we're dealing with digital data that is presented and stored in binary format, we need to base 2 instead of base 10. So instead of 10, 100, 1000 we go gor 2, 4, 8, 16... 1024... 2048, etc.
But it's important to notice that, although the binary is pretty much the standard used for most operating systems and programs, the international system measurement still exists, can be used and most definitely is used arbitrarily, creating this kind of confusion we're dealing with here.
In the digital world the one glaring (and often misleading) exception to the binary rule is storage (disk). Vendors of that tend to use the standard 1000's rather than the 1024's, no doubt because it makes their disk units seem larger... Just something to know when you buy a 1 TB disk that your O/S claims only has ~975 GB of space.

RE: Question about renaming files
@ianfontinell said in Question about renaming files:
@frostycab I'm failing to actually grasp what you're proposing, I think.
You might be proposing that members contact mods and suggest that a torrent's title could be renamed, providing reliable evidence, to make content more findable through the search page. To that I'd agree extensively.
But if you mean downloading a file, renaming it, creating a new torrent and re-uploading it, then to me it's a big no.
In his initial post, @frostycab said
Obviously nobody should use it as an excuse to upload duplicates of what's already here.

RE: Who are these guys and what's their Onlyfans?
@Johanni91 I have seen these guys on chaturbate, but I don't remember the room name... I'll make a note next time I see them (usually evening US Eastern Time).

RE: Torrent page says 1.19GB but my torrent is 1.28GB
@john32123666 Your statements are true, but this is different than what I was saying. Mine is about inconsistent nomenclature; yours is mostly about allocation overhead on disks and the overhead of various data formats.

RE: Duplicate report ignored
@drekkin This duplicate might have been interesting in 2018 when it was posted... it doesn't seem so important now. I don't know if that's why the report was ignored, of course.

Some updates for the latest version of BiglyBT:
To select a single file, select the Single File option. To select a folder containing files and folders, select the Directory option.
To select one or more files, select the Add Files option. To select a folder containing files and folders, select the Add Folder option.- list itemSelecting more than one file using the Add Files button seems to work on this tracker.
- list itemThere is also an Add Container button that I have never used.
Press Next
Select browse to select your file or folder with files and folders. Press Next.
Use the browse button to choose a location to store your torrent and a filename for it. -
RE: Hmm.. are these guys hot? Who are they?
@lololulu19 actually, if you go to the torrent and zoom in on the photos (+ icon) 3-4 times, the quality isn't too bad and you can see what's going on in most of them - the ones that aren't overly dark.
It's not my thing, but I can see enough in the photos provided to tell what it is. -

What happened to what I was uploading while the tracker was offline?
Unfortunately ...
It is part of your Give-Away from those peers connected during Time Out ...
You're not alone ...The best way I know to minimize the give-away amount is to leave your client running - don't restart it. If you do that, it can catch up with the tracker comes back. If you restart your client, the data is lost and you will get no credit for upload (and no charge for download, either).

Did Davey Wavey even do porn? I thought he was just (an insufferable) youtube personality.
He's the owner of Himeros, but he's never appeared in a sexual role there AFAIK.

RE: Misleading Torrent
@jujulette said in Misleading Torrent:
So what should he have done instead? Not upload the torrrent at all?
I would say, yes. Don't bother posting with a hopelessly vague title and description. Without a clear title, no one will find the torrent by searching on the site, so it's going to die a quick death anyway. No one searching for the TwinkPop video a week from now, whether they use the site name, the video name, or the actors names would be able to find this torrent.
In the example John cited, another poster did a great job of posting the same exact file a few hours later with a searchable title. That's the one that has the best chance to survive after it is no longer on the first few pages...
