Had it occurred to you that the site owners have heard all of the arguments over the years the site has been up, and maybe that's one of the reasons discussing those policies is not allowed?
I think this is a situation where there is no ideal answer. So we have rules the site owners think are best for the site.

disabling IPv6 seems to be working for me. All ~250 torrents I am seeding are now showing a normal status - none are timed out. I'll check back in the morning and see if that's still the case.

Update: ~12 hours later, I'm back to 2/3 of the torrents timed out.

@eobox91103 Since COVID lockdowns, a lot of porn production has moved to Montreal as well. And Florida is definitely worth mentioning, especially for many of the lower cost site.

@eobox91103 I have the same experience as you with .ru and .rent torrents. All seem to be working correctly.

@bi4smooth Joker has said he recently renewed the .ru name for 10 years, so I don't think there's a near-term problem with existing torrents ceasing to function.

everyone: remember, please, that what changed is just the name used to access the site and tracker. The servers, databases, tracker, and everything are the same no matter which name is used. There is not a second, duplicated infrastructure to support the new name.

Yeah, it's cringe, and they did it to themselves. It's kind of an evolution of what has always happened to guys who think they're going to have an easy, no effort life when their first plan doesn't work out. They've learned how things really work, and they probably will get away mostly untarnished in the long run.

@noodles85uk Brian sold the site to Gamma last summer and it is now run by the same group that does Pride Studio (Men Over 30, Extra Big Dicks, Family Creep). You'll see lots of overlap between those sites and also Bait Buddies (same production company, I think).
