@turlough And only torrents from this site, using its trackers, are affected. Public torrents are fine.

@john32123666 Yep, same here. Unfortunately, whatever steps were taken didn't resolve the issue.

RE: A connection attempt failed in download
@raphjd I think the hypothesis that there is an "over-eager" DDoS setting on the tracker has merit. Raph, do you really see no problems when you try to download 50 freeleech torrents at the same time? Or are you downloading one or two?
Of course normally you should only be able to connect to 15 simultaneously. But when the first of those 15 are complete, another of the red ones should be free to connect. That's not what's happening now. The system seems to detect 50 current attempted downloads and freak out, locking out all of them. Every now and then, over the course of hours, it will recognize some requests as valid. But it takes 10x as long to download 50 torrents as it used to. This is not sustainable.

RE: Vanishing torrents ...
For what it's worth, the freeleech torrents are particularly vulnerable. Huge clumps of them vanish, and have been for weeks. They're not DMCA takedowns, because they cover every possible category (and things that are regularly removed for DMCA are often left standing). It's almost like some infiltrator from another site has been made an admin here, and he's sabotaging the site. Just look at this list of deleted freeleech torrents, all set for freeleech to expire on 10 December, which is the only thing they had in common. The ones in green are the only ones that survived.

RE: Most of my files are red
@sirtricksalo Same here. I've been using this site heavily for ten years and haven't ever seen this before. Every torrents I upload to my seedbox is red. Some eventually connect after hours of waiting and download. Some never do.
Some major problem is definitely happening. I agree that an attack on the tracker server seems likely.

RE: Vanishing torrents ...
@forthepaul Yes, it died down a great deal after I posted that screenshot, but today it is back with a vengeance. Here's a new screenshot. All these torrents were made freeleech within the last 12 hours, and yet half are already dead. They have nothing in common with each other, and there's no way a DMCA complaint could result in a takedown in that short of time anyway.
Something nefarious is going on.

RE: New Design
I like the new design! Very clean and tight, and about time for some vaginal rejuvenation around here!
HOWEVER … I really, really miss being able to see how many torrents I'm uploading and downloading (and ratio, and bonus balance) at the top of every page, rather than having to click and drag every time I want to check. So I will be using the old version (which is still quite good!) until it is snatched from my grasp. If there is any way to add this info to the new version, that would be just fantastic!
Thanks for the lovely new design, either way! -

RE: "Search" is not loading correctly.
Same here – the site takes forever to log in, and I can only get to the "Search" page after about 1 in 30 tries. I typically log in (or try to) every day, and performance has been degrading over the past two weeks. At this point the site is basically unusable. Hoping that someone notices and fixes this.
