    • RE: Small Asian Dick

I looked it up, and this is what I found:

In adults, the condition refers to any penis smaller than 2.8 inches in length.

3.5 inches is certainly on the small side, but it's not technically a micropenis. A micropenis basically looks like an acorn where your dick is supposed to be. :afr:

    • RE: New Show "3 Gay Guys" - Conservative/Outsider/Progressive

I'm not interested in being a part of this. I don't consider myself a Conservative, but I'm completely disillusioned with contemporary Liberalism, so I'm not suited for it anyway. But I think, before you pose questions about racism, you have to start from the outset with a clear and mutually agreed upon definition of the term. Are you going with the historic definition, or the brainwashed millennial fuckwit definition of "power + prejudice" that's only become de rigueur within the last three years?

You seem to be strangely, hatefully obsessed with the guy. You also give him far too much credit.

    • RE: LGBT rights group's office reportedly targeted by vandals

It's difficult for me to understand why I should even trust the validity of this story without further details. Sad that it's come to that, but people on the far Left have cried wolf too many times in recent months, so they have no one but themselves to blame for all the skepticism and mistrust that comes their way.

Whether or not this story ends up being true (meaning an actual hate crime occurred, not a con job intended to create controversy), you have to be either a major chump or simply desperate to have your partisan biases confirmed to believe stories this brief and void of information outright. Perhaps when the publishers of the article update it with some hard evidence–at least a CCTV still of the incident--I might start to actually give a fuck, instead of having to wonder if it was someone associated with the group trying to foment hysteria and outrage.

    • RE: Classic metallica

I prefer more aggressive thrash metal. I don't mind Metallica, but I've never had any great affinity for them either. As far as world-renowned thrash bands are concerned, I prefer classic Slayer. Especially Reign in Blood.

The Canadian band, Razor, struck a really good balance of caustic aggression and accessibility too.

I like men period. I don't care what type of body he has.

Likewise. I don't go for extremes of anything (yes, there is such a thing as "too muscular"), but I like body types all across the spectrum in between. Honestly, I'm pickier about hairstyles/facial hair and fashion sense than I am a guy's physical body. Ed Hardy trucker hat? G'bye! :police:

    • RE: Oscars 2017

I gotta say, the idea that people outside of the US film industry even care about the Oscars is completely bewildering to me. It seems so damn self-congratulatory and detached from the world beyond. I don't mean to sound flippant. I sincerely don't understand it, and I'm curious to know what the appeal of music/film industry awards ceremonies is for "normal people" outside of the insular Hollywood bubble.

    • RE: Songs to workout

Anhalt EBM is essentially a throwback genre made up of bands trying to sound like DAF, and a lot of it is good for working out. Most songs in this style aren't terribly long, though. Usually, they are pretty average pop song lengths of 2-4 minutes. A lot of other post-industrial/dance industrial stuff has a better balance of length and workout-friendly accessibility, though:
My Life with the Thrill Kill Kult
      Foetus
Skinny Puppy (before they turned into ohGr 2.0)

Something with a long narrative to go along with a propulsive rhythm is also good for working out. These might seem like peculiar choices for workout music, but I've personally gotten good mileage out of them:
      Current 93 - Beausoleil
Throbbing Gristle - Very Friendly (be sure to listen to this one on solitary pre-dawn walks)
You can focus on the lyrics and lose decent chunks of time in the process.

Old school, mid/fast-paced grindcore is good for workouts too, though I dunno if many will be into that suggestion. I'd still say the rhythmic, stomping riffs are very conducive to working out. Only problem is, most of the songs are ~30-60 seconds long. String enough of them together, though…

    • RE: UC Berkeley at it again

Most of you have probably noticed how SJW's like to redefine words like "rape" and "racism". They've been trying to do this with "hate speech" as well. Until approximately 2-3 years ago, "hate speech" in the US was generally understood to be any speech that incites or encourages acts of violence. No, I don't mean the made-up SJW interpretation of the word (i.e., fucking everything is "violence". Even holding the door for someone is VIOLENCE!), but the real one. The one where people are physically assaulted, killed, have their personal property firebombed, etc. Discussion of proposed policy/personal views, however distasteful or blatantly racist is not traditionally considered hate speech, though.

It has to be conceded, though, that "hate speech" is a very vague, open-ended term that's rife for abuse. It really should be replaced with something more clear-cut. I am not okay with people willfully misinterpreting the meaning to silence anyone's freedom of speech. It's always been one of my most–perhaps only--strongly-held beliefs that people in the US have the right to express the most grotesque, offensive, disgusting ideas and personal convictions imaginable. The only time it breaks the law is when it goes from expressing beliefs to encouraging/inciting direct actions of violence or other egregious illegal activity such as rape.

    • RE: Why men are more homophobic than woman?

      @hw597:

Tbh I often find myself uncomfortabe around straight guys. Everything feels like an act. Compare a guys behaviour amongst fellow "lads" against what the are like with a girlfriend. Ther is usually a stark difference. I am usually friends with this same girlfriend and she wil hand on heart say that she knows the "real" him.  To me that is just creepy.

I am usually only friends with heterosexual guys where I don't get a sense of acting.

I also feel uneasy around people (regardless of gender/orientation) who act differently depending on their surroundings or who they're with. They don't seem like genuine or trustworthy individuals. Not to mention, macho posturing to compensate for how boring, weak or domesticated one is in reality is just obnoxious. Even unhealthy at certain extremes. But I think cases of men "acting out" is more a reaction to the dichotomy between professionalism/maintaining social standing and the desire of most men to feel/exude self-determination and independent strength. It's a dichotomy rooted more in class, culture and upbringing/gender roles (which is a whole other can of worms I'm not about to dive into here) than in orientation.

    • RE: Small group hangout ideas?

Whatever happened to slumber parties where you just listen to records and talk about boys and braid each other's hair? Just do the same things every small group of friends does: Talking, making or listening to music, going to concerts, watching movies/TV, playing games (any kind), cooking/sharing a meal. And booze, if that's your thing.

I've been thinking recently that hosting semi-regular movie nights with friends sounds like a nice idea. Maybe you can host a themed event. One for terrible films or music, where everyone agrees on a terrible movie to watch, or brings all the worst albums they can find and plays selections from them (FYI, I stole that last idea from a local bar). You could also go camping or explore abandoned buildings or something along those lines if you're interested in something a little different. Day trips to strange/remote places can be an interesting experience.

I went to an "introverts party" once (as if three people together in a room can be considered a party) where we just read books independently… 😕 I got baked beforehand and couldn't even focus on whatever I was reading. But it was still a decent time as far as small gatherings go.

    • RE: Can Vegans swallow?

Veganism is, for most, a matter of ethics above all else. To put it simply, semen resulting from sex between consenting adults could be considered "ethically sourced" in the sense that it is produced and "supplied" freely/willingly, not taken from another by force or through domestication. So, from an ethical stand point, yes, it's "vegan". From a nitpicky technical one, it's not because it is still an "animal byproduct". It's really up to the individual to decide which standard they choose to follow.

This is not terribly complicated. And I'm not even vegan.
