Very, very true. There's no disagreeing with that fact. However, what is the point of interjecting her into discussions that have absolutely nothing to do with her? If I start a thread about specific congressional Republicans deceiving their constituents and out of nowhere someone brings up Hillary Clinton who is (a) not a Republican and (b) does not have any constituents because she is not an elected official, bringing the "idea" of her up is a blatant attempt to derail the discussion and is basically :spam:.

Hmm, was that before or after they knew he and his administration were being investigated by Comey? Remember, we only knew of one active investigation during the election and immediately after the election and that was the investigation of Clinton's emails. A lot of people didn't know Agent Orange and his band of unqualified deplorables were being investigated until later. It seems that the calls for Comey to be fired stopped once everyone knew he was doing an important investigation that had been hidden from the public for months.

I don't know why, but something about Stephen turns me on a little. It's like he's probably not getting much attention down there so he'd have this hot overreaction to getting sucked. There was a crew from Fox News Channel present and they characterized this as a clear assault on reporter Ben Jacobs. There have been calls for his arrest and also calls for him to step down from the election that will be taking place tomorrow. This is just awful and did not have to happen. Republicans are turning violent on reporters because our president called for violence against reporters and continues to characterize our free press as the "enemy."

I've literally started threads before with the intent to bring about real discussions but wannabe Milos on here flame the threads with nonsense and constantly bring up Hillary Clinton even when the thread is about something wholly unrelated to her. I guarantee you I could start a thread about local government's role in fixing roads and how our local officials should be held accountable to fixing roads and the wannabe Milos will pop up and make it all about Hillary using bleach bit. It's really sad how you can't frame your argument nor your defense of #45 without mentioning his opponent who lost. Why are you so obsessed with a candidate who lost the election and is not our president nor will ever be our president? If you cannot frame an argument without bringing up Hillary Clinton, then what is the purpose of you chiming in on these discussions bringing her up constantly when these discussions have absolutely nothing to do with Hillary Clinton? It severely weakens all of your arguments.

Frederick has some major MOMMY ISSUES he hasn't worked out yet.  Hopefully he doesn't lose his healthcare so he can deal  with this in therapy.

Speaking of healthcare I'm wondering how many jobs will be lost when 23 million people lose their health insurance.  A million?  More?  I don't know the answer but I do know that many hospitals and health centers around the country will be forced to close…...especially in rural areas.

Yeah the CBO highlights the greed train that the GOP is on right now. So many rural hospitals have already closed here in South Carolina because our state didn't expand Medicaid and the small hospitals could no longer afford to take care of the people in those areas. Now if something bad happens to someone out in the rural areas, they have to pray that they will survive the long ride to the nearest city hospital. Those people in the rural areas have been booing their local and Congressional reps at town hall meetings. Even though they voted for the GOP and for Agent Orange, they are pissed about what's going on. I hope they sit out the midterms so that Democratic turnout will be higher here. That's how we got a Democratic governor in 1998 and a handful of Dems took Congressional seats.

I will try and interject some facts into your poisonous thread.  
Days before the Nov 2016 election, the media were acting as if a Hillary victory was certain.  The economy was plummeting in free fall, and continued to plummet up until the moment that Trump won… and then the economy bounced.. and rose sharply, and other than a few temporary minor setbacks, has continued to rise.

The attached chart shows exactly what I am referring to.  I put an arrow to indicate election day 2016.  This is my own investment portfolio's performance which is made up of 113 investments.  I am quite pleased with my 16% annual rate of return, thank you very much.

:ot: This has absolutely nothing to do with the budget proposal or the damaging effects it will have on the very poor people who voted for the liar who is now president. Beyond that, you're using typical uncertainty surrounding an election and the effect that uncertainty had on the stock market as a defense for our president. You're seriously saying an election being over and the uncertainty of that election being removed having a positive effect on the stock market is a major plus for our current president?  :crazy2:

I would feel bad that they are going to suffer, but they voted for a known liar and they will have to suffer the consequences. The budget clearly benefits the rich and takes away major parts of the safety net for the poor and Republicans don't even have the guts to admit it. "It will create millions of jobs" is a boldfaced lie. We were fed that lie during the 2001-2009 period and ended up in an economic crisis as a result of Bushonomics. These policies do not work and are solely based on greed.

It's sad that still, we're seeing attempts by people in this forum to defend an incompetent and out of control president by using the "idea" of the woman who ran against him and lost. It's not fake news that Hillary Clinton lost the election. It is reality that she lost. Yet, some of you are still pretending that she won; and therefore, our real president should be able to do whatever he wants without being called out on it. This is childish and it shows why you voted for someone childish and disgusting to be president. You use the "idea" of her because you have no real defense of him. It's pathetic and like I said it shows why you voted the way you did. If you cannot define your support for him without using his failed opponent then you have no real defense. Simple as that.

No, no, no. We know for a fact that it was Russia who hacked the DNC and that the Republican candidate called for them to hack Hillary's emails. That is not disputed anymore, it is a fact. What is being investigated right now is the possibility of collusion between his campaign and later administration and the Russians, and also the possibility that he's been trying to obstruct the investigations. This is not a partisan thing no matter how bad you want it to be. The investigations are bipartisan and both sides have openly criticized the president's recent action related to the investigations. This isn't "Dems have Russian collusion," it's there was enough evidence for intelligence agencies (including the Congressional intelligence committees) to begin investigations. Are you aware that Republicans control Congress right now and it was Republicans who began the investigations in both the House and Senate?

I wonder if some of the supporters in this thread now feel stupid for voting for someone who conned them. A lot of the replies in this thread are from before he was elected and sworn in. Now that he's president and has turned against 98% of what he ran on, do you still support him or are you willing to admit you were conned? The election is over so if your only response is to bring up Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama then you'll be automatically admitting you have no real defense for our current incompetent president and that you are spineless and simply cannot admit that you were conned by an orange-skinned businessman with strange hair.
