Ok… I get that when you're known to be HIV+, there are some measures that must be taken to carry the drugs because they're a controlled substance, so it's about the drugs and not HIV itself.... My only question though is unless I misunderstood something, I thought you were saying that getting tested is required for the job, rather than having red tape to clear if you're HIV+ and are on the medications.

RE: Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in mainstream media
All HIV meds are expensive because it's profitable to the big pharma industry. Generally, PrEP is usually only Truvada by itself. Isentress doesn't really have any side effects that I can speak of (or at least not in my case), as it's one of the newer meds out there. Truvada on the other hand I will forewarn you can play with your GI tract, even long after you take it. It's one big blue horse pill once daily. While Truvada is known or its effectiveness, it by itself is not as powerful as some of the newer meds out there that are more often used for post exposure treatment like Triumeq. It's Isentress combined with a "cutting edge" new drug in a whole new class of its own. These magic all-in-ones though are even more expensive, and are usually only used for treatment after you're infected.
So… If you are the bottom of the moment, just be mindful that your GI tract can do some very funny things to you, most especially while you're on it, but also even long after you've stopped taking it. Everyone's results will be slightly different in some way, however I can assure you that I know a LOT of "shitty" stories about Truvada. :cheesy2:

RE: How often do you get tested?
Pilots must notify doctors during the routine exams too.
Depending on your current posology there may be consequences over performances.
Safety reasons :police:Safety reasons? I'm not sure that I can agree with that… at least not without more information. How do they justify this as a safety measure? I just fail to understand how a pilot being HIV+ in any way puts anyone at any risk.

RE: Is anyone else getting frusterated with some uploaders
I've considered commenting in comment section of the ones like that but I don't want to piss anyone off since I'm not a moderator
I hear you on this one loud and clear my friend. Since the only person who is notified of a torrent comment is the uploader, I would recommend hitting the "report" button instead and pointing out that the torrent is obscure. I have been trolling through the list of torrents and improving what I can as I find them. I know one of my biggest pet peeves is when people upload multiple torrents with the same picture, same obscure description, and the same irrelevant picture. I've been known to pull people's upload rights for that, forcing their uploads to go through the old torrent review process before being posted.

RE: Pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) in mainstream media
Its a relatively new drug which is why it hasn't been mentioned on older programs.
Relatively new? What are you, in 2010? No… Something like Triumeq is relatively new. Truvada (aka PrEP) didn't come out to the market until early 2009. Just to be technically correct.
It didn't reach the "mass" market until late 2010 after patients like me had undergone all the studies and such in an effort to get away from harsher drugs like Sustiva.
But they are scared that it is not 100% secure if someone forget to take prep for one or a few days.
Even if it is taken on time every day, it is still not a guarantee, especially for a "die hard gangbanger" as there is now a strain of HIV that has popped up that is actually resistant to Truvada. In the case o the "die hard gangbanger" (which I fall into the category of), Truvada is even less of a guarantee because of that nature of the increased risk of being introduced to that one particular strain. Also, take into account the number of people with HIV who are on HAART already and maintain an undetectable viral load, which is statistically a safer bet than even a condom. On that note… One day of missing your Truvada won't necessarily do anything, as long as it has been at LEAST a month since you missed your last dose (although the more time you have between missed doses the better, and ideally zero is the target number of missed doses).
Also, I can tell you from first hand experience that the long-term effects of Truvada are questionably worth it, depending on a few factors. In my case, they unfortunately were worth it, as it kept me alive for a number of years, however I still pay for that decision to stay on it for as long as I was. Simply put, it irritates your GI tract, which can cause various things like random nausea and a sudden urge to vomit (although not frequently, just inconveniently and annoyingly, and you're fine after it happens), and my favourite…. It makes for a rather "shitty" situation quite easily. Originally, when I started with Truvada, it was a constant battle with incontinence. The only problem is that when it feels like you're literally pissing out your ass, there's not much you can do to keep it on the down-low, especially when you're say, in the middle of a crowded Canadian Tire store just before Christmas when suddenly, without any warning, "shit happens" (pun intended). Even now, a couple of years free from Truvada, and I still have that side effect quite easily, depending on what I eat. Thankfully, it's not as bad now as it used to be, but it's still a royal pain in the ass. Speaking of which, Truvada has caused me to have another rather unattractive quirk... I can't stop fluffing up a storm in my sleep, and according to a couple of my ex's, it's pretty wicked. I don't mind it because I sleep like a baby right through it, but when you're in a tiny little trailer and you're trying to get near and dear to someone who happens to be a light sleeper, things can get real fun when they threaten to go to bed with a gas mask because of it.... Just sayin'
These are the things that they do NOT tell you in the textbooks folks... I had to learn this the hard way as one of the first experiment patients to be put on this because my other option was Sustiva, which scared the living shit out of me. You either get Lucy in the sky with diamonds dreams, or in my case, you get to go to bed knowing that every night is a night at 1428 Elm Street on Sustiva. Also, having seen what my ex went through with being on Sustiva for 13 years and the way it has fried his brain over time, I didn't have much of a choice but to become one of the first trial patients... I'll be the first to admit, things are nowhere near as bad now as they were even when I was diagnosed, but even being diagnosed at such a key turning point in the science, there are prices we've all had to pay in exchange for our lives.
Just a friendly reality check.

RE: How to keep my account, forced not to log in
We have never had an account parking option. The only thing that I could really suggest would be to use a VPN where you can hide your identity and location, as well as all of your internet activities to be able to access your account. You need to login at least once every 180 days to avoid any account issues. In some cases, this grace period is extended to 240 days.

RE: Seeding torrents- including a new one but site doesnt know it
First off, loose the attitude… It's not a glitch. If you'd of followed the upload guide, you would have known that you need to download the .torrent file you create after you submit the upload. Also, what's with this business of making multiple forum posts and multiple threads about the same thing?
-
RE: Spent an hour uploading photos and creating a torrent but site doesnt know it
Did you download the .torrent file off of the torrent page. It won't know that you are seeding it otherwise.
This is usually the case… Please hold while I do some digging on how the torrent was created.
EDIT: Torrent was created in uTorrent directly, so my guess is that it was seeding with the .torrent you created to submit the upload, rather than the downloaded .torrent file generated by the system, which contains your correct tracker information, including your unique passkey.

RE: Scat images? Anyone else bothered?
Also, if you stumble across SCAT torrents that we have missed and are still in the fetish category, either copy the URL and send it to helpdesk explaining that it's scat not in the scat category, or you can scroll to the bottom and click "Report" to flag it as scat not in the scat category to bring it to our attention so that we can make it conform to the scat category.

RE: To bareback, or NOT.. Opinions welcome!
Don't bareback! It is not worth it! HIV is not the only STD.
As someone who has been living with HIV since 2009, I will say this… HIV is not what you really need to be worried about. There's far worse out there than that. If I had to choose my ailment, I would definitely choose HIV over any number of other things.
In the end, is a question of trust, of feeling, I love and trust him. Otherwise I would have never done it.
This can be a VERY dangerous stance to take. I say this from experience, as this is EXACTLY how I contracted HIV. Just sayin'

To bareback, or not to bareback…. What a silly question hehe
Is there any other way? :lolp:

RE: Make America great again
Trump is going to erase all of the progress in education, civil rights, and civil liberties made in the last 30+ years.
I hope that won't happen .
Get ready for it… The first on Trump's chopping block is gay rights and equal marriage.

RE: Are the majority of people voting Hillary?
I cant support trump for a wide number of reasons, but by the same token, I cannot support Hillary either. It's sad really when the Americans have to choose between two different kinds of monsters. Trump has been clear that he has no problem with revoking gay rights and repealing Obama's LGBT rights protections, among a number of other things. On several occasions, he has made comments that suggest that he should not be president, including (but not limited to) calling Canadians "Snow Mexicans", and making reference to making women listen and obey with such things as "grab her by the pussy". These are obviously NOT characteristics that any president should value.
By the same token, I do not support Hillary Clinton either. Most of my reasons are outlined in this YouTube Video. There are much worse things that Clinton stands for that I simply cannot support, which are a large part of why she is deemed to be a "monster". For example, did you know that Hillary's proposed plan for dealing with over-population is to pass a law that would allow a mother to choose not to keep her baby, which would allow her to give birth to the baby, only to have a doctor cram a needle in it's head to kill it immediately after birth. This is not at all a solution, as quite frankly, in my opinion, this is MURDER, but yet under a Clinton presidency, this would become a sad reality. Not to mention, everyone that has EVER been set to testify against Hillary Clinton has mysteriously turned up dead under mysterious circumstances. To me, this suggests (although it does not prove) that Hillary is not above murder, and will stop at nothing to get her way.
On this note, mark my words when I say that Hillary WILL at some point (I believe within the first 90 days of Trump as president) arrange to have Donald Trump assassinated. Neither me nor any of my psychic friends foresee Hillary as being the one to actually "pull the trigger" so to speak, however mark my words when I say that Hillary WILL eventually have Trump assassinated to try to muscle her way into the office again.

RE: Any Trump Supporters here?
What happened in Orlando? I'm not from USA.
Allow me to give you the Reader's Digest version of what happened. A crazy man, who is believed to have ties with a Muslim terrorist organization (although I have not seen any proof of this) walked into the Pulse night club (a very well known gay bar) and opened fire with a an AR-15 assault riffle… Long story short, he was killed in the crossfire with the police, along with many innocent people, most of which were shot dead by the crazyman himself.

RE: Make America great again
Impeachment was mentioned earlier here and It did get me to wonder what it would really take for that to happen?
The answer to that is simple… Trump either needs to be convicted of his pending sexual offense charges involving a minor, OR he needs to get caught pulling a Bill Clinton and getting head in the Oval Office by an intern :lolp:

RE: Make America great again
Allow me to bottom line where I stand on the whole Trump and "Make America Great Again" thing…. In three simple pictures
Before I do though, I just thought I would ask when you say "Make America Great Again", to what exact time frame are you referring? When women were second class citizens who couldn't vote? To when black people were commonly owned as slaves? Do you mean to the time when gays were often raided, simply for being who they are? (If you don't know what I mean by that one, do a little Google search on the Stonewall Inn, or was it the Stonewall Hotel?) Do you mean the time when people used to be burned at the steak for allegedly being "witches"? Or maybe... Do you mean the time period where Native Americans were slaughtered in the masses in what became the largest, yet least discussed genocide in history?
I just don't understand what anyone could possibly mean by "Make America Great Again"... Please explain this to me.
Now... On to where I stand with this whole thing in three simple pictures...

RE: QTM Error
This is often the warning sign of a login failure. I would encourage you to check out this forum thread for more assistance with this.
-
RE: Auto Login
From my observation, the forum runs on a different, yet somewhat synchronized login, which does not expire in the same manner that the main site login does. In some cases, I have trolled the forums and even posted things to the forum while "logged out" of the main site, as long as I do not log out of the forum as well.

RE: Torrent download is forbidden
If you're worried about your identity being revealed, may I suggest a VPN service such as PureVPN. I have been using it for some time now and I've never had issues.

RE: Mac or pc?
Be aware that linux security is quite overestimated.
Torvalds attitudea bug is a bug
is not helping in it.
This is the reason NSA developed SELinux initially: the kernel is like an Emmentaler.
This is the reason Joanna Rutkovska [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joanna_Rutkowska] is developing Qubes OS [https://www.qubes-os.org].
This is the reason UCAVs will be deployed using a mathematically verified microkernel [https://sel4.systems/] over a predictable hardware.
Linux is not secure. No system is really secure if you do not set it up properly. Compared to a Windows machine, or even in a lot of cases, compared to a Mac, the security potential offered in Linux is a lot more advanced. This if course assumes that you take the time to set it up properly to begin with. As I said though, any operating system isn't secure if you do not set it up properly.
