Sadly, North American politics as of late seems to be such that there is no "good" option.... Only bad and worse.

@nix54 This sounds like a port forwarding issue. Our tracker is very sensitive with port forwarding for some reason. In order to get proper upload traffic all the time, you need to make sure that the port your torrent client is using is forwarded through your home router or VPN to your computer, both in TCP and UDP. Without this, you will notice the exact symptoms you seem to be having.

If it's of any help, your current torrent client is reporting that it seems to be using port 63357.

@blablarg18 From my experience, the reality is that they're not as great as they're made out to be. For instance, there are several cases here in Ontario (Canada) where local fire departments have had to consult with the manufacturer of various EV's because in the event of a bad crash, the batteries are known for heating up and randomly bursting into flames, having to be put out multiple times by the fire department, only to burst into flames again.

As well, there lies the issue of the batteries. Not only are they not recyclable, but to make matters even worse, they come at a crazy cost and need to be replaced every few years. IMHO, the "green vehicle" concept needs to come a lot further than it already has to be a viable replacement for traditional gas powered vehicles.

As for the power situation, here in Ontario, most of our electrical supply comes from running water such as rivers, and lakes, or even the biggest supply of them all.... Niagara Falls. So in that sense (at least in Canada), they do have far fewer emissions, however on a global scale, a lot of the electricity used to power these things comes from coal or nuclear power plants, which put out just as much emissions to produce the energy as the gas powered vehicles do, thereby making them ineffective as a "green" solution.

@jawsbruin After taking a look into some geeky stuff on our end, I see that you are using uTorrent 3.6.0. This is going to be your issue, as it is has known compatibility issues with our site. The only known fix for this is to roll back to uTorrent Classic 3.5.5 or earlier. FWIW: QTM is written to work with uTorrent 2.2.1, which I use and support.

@Rotron I am ideally looking for 2. One for my TV tower (in my bedroom) and one for my server in the basement. For the server, it would be the ONLY external drive. For my TV Tower, it would replace the existing 500 GB drive to become the ONLY drive.

@Rotron 2 TB.... That's cute.... My laptop has a 5 TB external. My TV Tower with porn and movies has 16 TB, and my server has an 8 TB porn drive.

When my drives start to get full, I don't start deleting stuff.... Oh no, no, no.... I just get bigger drives. Haha. My porn collection is over 6 TB between the three machines.
