@chuckBKK Nothing wrong with a debate, as long as it is debating facts and not launching personal attacks.

RE: Religious symbols in porn
@chuckBKK While I understand that it's not for you, there are some people who kind of have a religious fetish. The most common one in the straight world is Catholic school girls. In the gay pron world, we call them Mormon boys.
Having been raised Catholic and knowing first hand the kinds of things that go on in the Catholic church, I'm personally not really a fan as the reality of religious based sex (at least in the Catholic church) is in fact based on pedophilia.

RE: DMCA strikes and the 90-day suspension
@duncanlem Unfortunately, mods and other staff do not have access to this information, so we cannot say for sure.

RE: RESEEDING!!! A SHORT / CONCISE TUTORIAL about HOW to RESEED!!
@ReggaeDuro This shouldn't be a problem. If you have more than just the contents there, it will still check 100% of the contents. It's when you do not have all of the contents required in the right location that things get a little sticky for you.

RE: Ratio problems
@dalesc I noticed your request in the helpdesk as well. Please see my answer there. I think your situation is a little more complex than most.

RE: The GOP Backed Him on Hunter Biden Claims. Now, He's Been Indicted
@erikiwi Perhaps, but I can't exactly say that the Democrats are any better. They're both a poison to society.

RE: How to get more credit for my Uploads?
@john32123666 True.... Freeleech torrents are also a good way to get on the right foot.

RE: How to get more credit for my Uploads?
@john32123666 Based on the user's history, I don't think there's much of an issue there. The issue in their case is likely squarely on uTorrent 3.6.0. It does many strange things when working with our tracker. Some of these include showing that the tracker is working and seeding, however the site doesn't see this on our end. Sometimes no data at all is reported, so you can be seeding actively all day and have nothing to show for it. This is why I recommended rolling back to uTorrent 3.5.5 or earlier, which does not have this problem.

RE: How to get more credit for my Uploads?
@Darekins-0 Yes and no.... No it's not "normal" on the most part, however I see that you are running uTorrent 3.6.0, which has many known compatibility issues with our system. The issue you are having is one of the "normal" things about uTorrent 3.6.0 with our system. There are also a number of other issues that often come up with this version
If you uninstall uTorrent 3.6.0, then install uTorrent 3.5.5 or earlier in its place, you can get around this issue and have your data and active torrents reported properly.

RE: ourGTN down for a short while
@john32123666 It's quite simple... ourGTN is ourGTN.org sometimes just called GTN for short.

RE: Transmision port closed
@fetoso123-0 On a home connection, you need to make sure your modem or router is forwarding the port that your torrent client uses to your computer. As long as this step is in place, you should be good to go.

RE: ourGTN down for a short while
@john32123666 This post was about ourGTN... The site you are showing is gay-torrents.net.... There's a big difference between them.
-
RE: Transmision port closed
@fetoso123-0 First thing's first... Are you using a VPN to connect your torrent client, or are you using your home internet connection? This is the first thing we need to look at when figuring this out.

RE: This one.. shocked even ME!
@lololulu19 Are they really gay, or are they gay for pay?
-
RE: What happened to the homepage?
@ianfontinell You are still using the old .ru domain, which we are in the process of decommissioning. You need to use the gaytor.rent domain moving forward.

RE: Origin of your username?
@john32123666 Actually, nowadays, I use the name PozPiggy

RE: Origin of your username?
When I first signed up, I was still driving the 2007 Mazda 3 GX that I had bought brand new... I was a die hard Mazda fan. I've now been lured over to the dark side that is Toyota.

RE: Not receiving credit for seeding
@Bammm As @1ushost mentioned, there is a difference between torrent client data and site profile data. Your torrent client will show the total amount of data including overhead traffic that has occurred for the torrent since it was added to your torrent client. The site however will only show the amount of data transferred for the current session. If for any reason you stop then restart a torrent, the data totals will reset to zero as it will register as a new session.

RE: Flava Works still doing this
Just to chime in with some relevant Canadian case law... In the case of Voltage Pictures VS TekSavvy Solutions Inc (an independent Canadian ISP), it was argued and ruled that an IP address alone is insufficient information with which to make a legal claim for three main reasons.
-
An IP address alone may identify the subscriber of the service used, however it does not prove who the physical end-user of the device used actually was.
-
An IP address alone does not prove that the contents were downloaded in their entirety, or that they were shared with anyone else.
-
An IP address alone does not verify the device that was being used to commit the act.
Given that these have been accepted as being reasonable objections, it is likely that in any common law country, that the courts would take the same stand.
