@hkphilip it is possible that you have leaked your passkey, which is used to track your downloads and uploads. if someone uses your passkey the downloaded data will be deducted from your ratio instead of theirs.

if it's confirmed that you don't have that torrent active anywhere in your pc or other device, you will have to reset your passkey, you should open a ticket in the helpdesk and ask them for help.

Digital watermarking is a real thing, but it is very expensive. Its financial viability depends on the amount of content produced versus the number of clients. More often than not it is not viable. Another studio that claims to use this technique is RFC, and their videos keep popping up every week.

There is one case in particular involving the platform JFF, they noticed that there were specific creators being leaked almost simultaneously, they investigated and narrowed it to one single account that was subscribed to all the mentioned leaks, they started serving digitally watermarked videos exclusively for his account, and later more leaked videos surfaced, and they matched with his account.

This is a more reasonable use case, if they were to do this for every subscriber it would cost more than they make with the subscriptions.

So long story short, I call it cap, Bel Ami say they do it, but I doubt it's true. But it's possible, and the embeded data usually includes the user ID and IP address.

If you use your own credit card and access the site without a VPN, there is a risk of you being traceable.

but in all cases only the person with access to the account can do it.
and lastly, i suspect that any method you might find successful will require a lot of work and the videos will have to be downloaded one by one.

Note that if you have downloaded a massive amount, on the order of a few Terabytes, naturally seeding a few GB will be negligible, won't even tickle your ratio.

@prokrin they don't teach this anywhere, it really is annoying of the site staff:

the tracker will only mark your download as completed IF you download ALL files from the torrent. That is, if you leave any file unmarked, the download will never be marked as completed.

Your client will report to you that it's finished and that you are now seeding. But to the tracker, you are still downloading. As long as you keep this torrent running, it will consume one download slot, and we only have 8.

Yep, 8 is the maximum, the site says it is 15 but that's just a very old message that nobody ever bothered to update.

You need to pause all torrents that you have only partially downloaded. After you pause them, it can take from a few minutes up to 1 hour for them to disappear from your "download" slots.

it usually goes like this, i think it's a glitch so i suggested mass deleting messages to try to fix it, it's not even guaranteed that it would fix the issue.

If anything, you can open a helpdesk ticket asking them to delete your messages
