agreed, this fetish ensemble is not very doable because it requires everything to be properly labelled, and GT isn't designed around that. We only have a very limited set of categories. Without labels we have to rely exclusively in the title/description and we know people will put whatever they want in there.

Titles and descriptions, most of the time, don't really describe what is actually happening in the videos, but rather they are "interpretations" of how the person who uploaded it wanted to see it. This makes search itself a pain in the butt for regular purposes, let alone what you are suggesting, which is even more granular and complex.

This site is very old and despite the staff being super nice and doing the best they can, the site itself has frozen in time.

Hi vancer, I was sniffing qbt source and found out that those command lines we were discussing have already been present for a while. So I believe you no longer need to rely on the web api to add files, making it much more reliable imo.

Arguments go as follows:

@pmrrk I tried to replicate this behavior but as soon as I open QTM the dropdown menu is populated, I don't even need to add any folder or pictures.

For now my only suggestion is to qbt developers to add more command line features for managing new torrents, it sucks that we're requried to rely on the web ui, specially considering how hard it can be to handle. For instance, if I use it in HTTPS mode GUU won't be able to find it, from my past experience.

Cool to see that you are back with GUU, I was just checking the git page a few days ago to see when it was last updated. Personally I think qbittorrent's api limits the potential it could have but it's still way better than the ancient QTM app.

@padredenny It has become extremely difficult to maintain a positive ratio in the last few years, I don't even notice it happening... I just remember that I used to have a very high ratio and recently it's been slowly decreasing, which has innevitably prompted in a change of my behavior, now I'm much more careful with what I choose to download, and as a result I have less active torrents, reducing my seeding capacities even further.

I have stopped downloading anything that isn't freeleech, unless it's something that I REALLY crave and failed to find somewhere else. This is only effective in preventing your ratio to go down, it has barely no effect whatsoever in improving the ratio.

The only proper action one is able to take is start uploading their own massive torrents, which has become a standard. Someone needs to build their ratio so they go and upload a 100GB torrent, meaning someone will go and download 100GB risking to never seed it enough to make up for the spent bytes, so now this person will need to upload their own massive torrent. The result is simply a fuckload of massive torrents that nobody care about, they just sit there forever with a couple of seeders.

If I recall correctly, the last tweak/update that was made to the ratio algorithm happened 10 years ago, the issues that prompted those changes have been replaced with newer issues and, from my own experience, those have been going unaddressed since then.

@Kekkaishi one thing that I encourage you to do is to put a little more effort into understanding why something is appealing to you and why it isn't, instead of just calling it generic and boring, because calling something generic/boring means literally nothing, it say's nothing about neither the story, the author or you.

If you liked The Flesh Cartel, the reason sure isn't because it was writen by women, how exactly does it compare to other stories that you didn't quite enjoy? Is it more slow-paced, more subjective from an emotional standpoint, perhaps the characters are more flawed and relatable? Or the opposite of all that perhaps?

If you're looking for something specific and it's not there, instead on focusing on what you're reading you'll simply try to predict where it'll go, and having it go where you're thinking only makes it more frustrating.

@remixafter-0 go to the main website and check the header, how many torrents it says you're downloading, 2 or 8?

If it says 8, before downloading anything you will need to pause your downloaded torrents, I can explain later if you're interested, but pausing them and waiting a few minutes will get you able to download new stuff.

If it says you're downloading 2, means you need to upload more before being able to get more stuff.
