The biggest single denominator in carrying racism forward is the fact that no "honest" dialect can take place.

Racism by definition:

What having laid claim to that "tag" has really done to their culture, they choose to ignore. No other group in human history has laid all the burden of their life failures on one word, one notion. They got zero affirmative anything. Yet they thrive. Now why is that? I can certainly lay down numerous examples but they would brush them off just as easily. That is what professional victims do.

When I was a child, if I fucked up - my parents made me own it. They can talk all the shit they want, from just about birth they are taught to blame others for their mistakes and shortcomings. I referred to the Jews, because they are a prime example as to how a people can move on, and BE a contributing factor as opposed to an ongoing handicap. These people were left with nothing. They picked themselves up and moved on. Anne Frank, arguably the most visible representation of this slaughter does not have a day. No Anne Frank Day. A woman tried to bring the notion to Congress, it garnered only 92 signatures on Facebook. This girl faced horrors the likes none of us will ever know, and nothing. Rosa Parks refused to give up her seat because she was tired. Granted it touched off a series of events that changed history - but Anne Frank nothing? If you don't see the irony there check your moral compass.

People complain that Donald Trump represents racism, no - he represents a voice that has been forced into silence. I think he is a buffoon, but he represents a sector of Americans who have grown weary of handing a "Mulligan" to people who don't respect it and openly abuse it. They are tired of hearing excuses over people who routinely break the law and fall on the race card. Mind you most of the "broken laws" are one black on another black. That's right I'll say it - you routinely prey on each other and blame everyone else but yourselves. THAT is what sent Donald Trump to office. A silent group who just simply had enough.

Their needs to be a new dialect, one where both parties are secure that things they say will not be excoriated under the continued guise of racism. Until that happens there will be no end to it. I don't see it happening any time soon, most probably never at the rate things have evolved. Black people need to take ownership of the behaviors that are REALLY hurting them as a people. Stop waving the victim flag already, it hasn't helped you, rather it is crippling you. I have a lot of black friends, many of whom feel this way but will never say it in a public forum for fear of getting flamed - they voted for Trump too. They voted for change.

The sad part.. Trump was the lessor of two evils. What depth have we sunk to as a nation when such a man represents the best of our best. THAT really is the scariest part of the equation. America, for all it's greatness, all it's higher thinking - Donald Trump? It is humiliating.

As for the black students and teachers, well as long as this air of total denial prevails - they will continue to run in place. That level of toxic thinking will continue to keep them down. Nobody who lives life as a professional victim will ever be complete. There comes a time you have to bury the past and own your future. When they get that, they will overcome. I think had MLK lived, he would be hanging his head at how this all wound up. He fought for equal rights, not a permanent victim status.

That is a pretty broad question! If you are asking if the gay rubs off on them, the answer would be no - that is genetic. I only know a few couples who have adopted kids, they are remarkable parents. First of all, they are in just about every case more than able to provide for the children financially, I don't think I even know any broke gay guys. Second of all they are screened as if they are going to be handling nuclear warheads, psychologically and emotionally.

I'd venture a guess no less than 30% of the hetero couples who freely procreate would NEVER pass the requirements for adoption for all the reasons I just detailed. Next, you have the most important factor, THEY actually wanted kids badly enough to go through all that scrutiny. That by itself is an act of love, they are CHOOSING to be parents. If anything, the offspring of gay parents are more likely to be over-parented if there is such a thing.

Conversely speaking I know a shitton of hetero couples who NEVER should have had kids. They pop them out like candy from a pez dispenser with utterly no thought to how they will provide for them, let alone see to their educational needs. I swear I think everyone should be sterilized at birth, and the only way to reverse it is that you prove you have the means and the mental acuity to be a parent. Wow, I'm sorry. I will probably get flamed for this, but I find the entire Weinstein scandal ludicrous on more levels than I can enumerate. Is what he purportedly did right? The majority of these women knew exactly what the scene was going to be before they agreed to meet with him. Alone. In his suite. It's nothing short of prostitution, and it went on in Hollywood and really all walks of life for far longer than Weinstein was an issue. Does it make what he did right? Of course not, but then by definition prostitution is still illegal in most states.

These women agreed to meet with him under the pre-conceived notion that said meeting would provide them access to roles they would likely NEVER have access to under ANY other circumstances.
