RE: Uploaded torrents non visible
@kennyye85-0 said in Uploaded torrents non visible:
@tnar Hi, thanks for the advice! I'm following along up to the point where you say "...point your client at the source files on your computer." What do you mean by this? I downloaded the torrent and opened it, but it doesn't seem to want to download fully for me.
What he's saying is that your client should know where your copy of the upload is. For simplicity you can just put the original into whatever folder your client downloads into. If you then download the .torrent file from the site and open it your client will scan for the files automatically and seeding should begin.

RE: extremalchiki copy
Lord Flow/Lordflow maybe? Was never sure if that was just another name for EM or not

RE: Traffic is not counted
@ianfontinell-0 I agree with your take on things. I just ran a rough calculation on my own figures, and allowing for some rounding-off the daily figure simply denotes the average amount you have uploaded/downloaded over the entire time you have been a member of the site.

RE: Seeding file NOT Found
If I understand your question correctly, it's possible that the listing was removed. Could be DMCA, duplicate, rule break....

Also, we don't allow reseed requests in the forums.
I agree that since there is a button to request reseeds there's little point in posting in the forums, but I was unaware that they were not allowed here. Is this another forum rule that isn't written down anywhere?

RE: Do we get seed points by posting in this forum?
Just thought I'd bump this as it's been well over a year now and the information on seed points still hasn't been updated. I know there are other things to do, but it doesn't take much to remove a single line from a bulleted list.

RE: Previously Downloaded Torrents Not Showing in BitTorrent
@mtele31784-0 said in Previously Downloaded Torrents Not Showing in BitTorrent:
@mtele31784-0 Update: I redownloaded the torrent file for many of my previous downloads, and they are now seeding, but some of them didn't register that I have already downloaded them once before.
That means that the previously downloaded files are in the wrong place for your client to see them (or you've deleted them.) As long as they are in your client's download folder (or in another folder the client checks) it will re-check the files and only download missing pieces.

RE: Factorio
@scartoonstar The complexity of getting 100% utilisation/efficiency from oil production in CoI will melt your brain. hehe

RE: Is there a way to seed without using my download quota?
@pornoaf-0 As long as the files are an exact match and you point your client at them on your computer. When you then add the torrent form this site the client will check to see if the files exist on your PC and only download if it doesn't see the full matching files. If it's able to check to 100% then it will just start to seed.

RE: Where is this from?
Almost definitely Bel Ami/Kinky Angels. Couldn't tell you what film though.

RE: New porn law in Texas...
@raphjd I honestly couldn't remember. I just recall there being a discussion about it some time ago. I do remember when I first got the internet at my old place the ISP defaulted to a "safe web" connection, and I had to call them up to unlock my line to access over-18 sites. Changed ISPs a few times over the years with no need to repeat the procedure, so I don't know if it was that ISP's internal policy and it got carried over or the idea just got shelved.
Anyway, coming back to my original question which has been ignored, how would a similar law in Florida harm porn producers there? The industry already has age verification, and it's not like porn is something produced for a local market.

RE: New porn law in Texas...
@lololulu19 If they're visiting any of the major porn sites then they'll already be linked by way of their credit card. Maybe my memory is going, but IIRC the UK did something similar a few years ago where many sites (porn, gambling etc) were blocked until you verified you were over 18. This was handled at ISP level, who defaulted to the blocked state. Once you verified once with your ISP and that unlocked everything. As such your verification details were never linked directly to any particular site.
