    • RE: Besides Torrent Sites, What Other Sites Do You Visit?

@rnd256 I used to frequently visit a site that had a lot of twink and young (18+) content--some home videos of a guy wanking in a mirror, also often a single scene out of a larger film, not always in good resolution, but it would sometimes clue me in to a film that I might like that was on here in better resolution. It was/is a very "clean" site in that there are no ads when using AdBlockerUltimate, and it's easy to download clips from them.

I'm not sure about gt.rent forum practices in mentioning other website names, so I'll hold off giving the URL here in a public space....but feel free to PM me if your interested.

    • RE: Utorrent

@brettw97 One very important point: Be sure that you install version 3.5.5 (or earlier) of uTorrent, not 3.6 which has lots of problems. There are some links that say that they will install 3.5.5, but they actually install 3.6. The best link to get 3.5.5 is https://www.filesoul.com/software/uTorrent/3-5-5-45271-for-PC-Windows/download/ .

Also, be sure to turn off "automatic updating" or you will get 3.6 forced on to your machine. Set that at Options > Preferences > General, by unticking "Automatically install updates."

@alpha12 Hello! If you search the Forum for the word "Poland" ( https://community.gaytorrent.ru/search?term=Poland&in=titles ) you will find several other people from Poland.

I am not from Poland, but I visited some friends in Gdansk last summer for a few days and had a great time.

Go to your profile and turn off str8 category if you're not interested by checking ...

This works if the uploader has identified the torrent as being in a "straight" category. Unfortunately, not everybody does this.

    • RE: unregistered torrent and ratios

@serenity I like to think of the Great Gaytor Tracker as a matchmaker: It connects people who want files with people who have them--as long as the torrent is active (registered). It also keeps track of of how much data you've sent/received in order to construct your ratio.

If a torrent is taken down (i.e., shows up as unregistered), the Great Tracker stops being a matchmaker. But if you're already connected to someone who has data you want, or needs data you have, that connection will usually stay active and data will flow one way and/or another, but it won't be seen by the tracker and won't influence your ratio.

Even if you haven't fully leeched all the data from a torrent that's taken down, it's worth keeping it active in your client to see if there are bits out there that you can get from existing connections. Similarly, if you have a completed torrent that's been taken down, I like to keep it active in my client to that others who are already connected to me can still get the data they're missing. I won't get "credit" for it, but it's a nice thing to do.

    • RE: sc video numbers

@tnar Thanks for that link. I know the scene numbering continued after the "Original" Sean Cody sold the franchise to MindGeek in 2015, and the models got 10-15 years older. I don't know what number that was at...but the new series doesn't interest me as much as the classics.

pbc.xxx is indeed a wonderful site. One can look up many models and find out more about them, including the Fakebook pages. It seems that many of the retired Czech models have BMW's, which is an interesting correlation.

Perhaps you meant to make this a comment on a specific torrent? There's a box at the bottom of each torrent page for that.

    • Disappearing torrent

About three weeks ago I uploaded a six-minute "hidden locker room" clip, probably taken at some college or city sports club. It now shows as "unregistered," but I didn't get a message from a moderator claiming DMCA or some other rules violation. All of the guys in the clip were definitely 18+, so I don't think that was the reason--and if it were, I would have expected a justifiably firm message.

I'm not complaining about the removal--the site does what the site does, and I accept that...and several hundred members snatched the clip. But I'm curious to know if there's a rule I violated so I don't do it again. I can't give a URL for the torrent because it's gone, but I can say that it was uploaded on 16 October, early afternoon Eastern US time.

      Thanks!

    • RE: Banned from uploading for 90 days.

@semurg30 said in Banned from uploading for 90 days.:

Is there a banned list of studios we are not allowed to post from?

No and yes. The rules page ( https://www.gaytor.rent/notallowed.php ) lists types of material than can't be uploaded (e.g, under-age, bestiality, drug use). No studio names are listed except those known to to have many under-age models.

There are other studios (that I won't name) that are very vigourous in sending in DMCA requests that their stuff be taken down. (I can think of several, but I'm not going to name them.) The operators of this website know who those studios are, but don't use their names on the banned list for reasons that are probably complex, confidential, and necessary to keep the site operating.

It's entirely possible that an uploading ban could come about if a person repeatedly uploads material from these hyper-vigilant studios and gets notified over and over again that their stuff has been subject to a DMCA takedown. This is speculation on my part, and can't be confirmed or denied by a moderator--but I think it makes sense.

Then there is the issue of gay porn not covered by any copyright protection, because you cannot copyright something that is obscene, and shoving one's erect penis into a rectum is considered obscene.

Will you PLEASE stop flogging this dead horse? It died a long time ago, and I think I speak for many on hear that we're tired of hearing this nonsense.

    • RE: Anyone else feel extremely guitly about their fetish?

You did the right thing by sharing your experience. Telling other people about things always helps. Perhaps you already feel some well-earned relief.

It's hard to know what really happened between the photographer and the model. I've been on both sides of the lens in the modeling business (never famous!), and it can take unexpected turns. I could tell lots of strange stories, but I'll save those for another time. It seems that the photographer definitely had sexual designs on the model. But was the model forced into what he was doing? Being asked to model in underwear was a hint that more might come. The model might be just having "seller's remorse" after everything was over.

There are lots of scenes in porn that we enjoy in the moment, but have concern about later. I sometimes enjoy "hidden camera" scenes where guys are showering or wanking in the toilet, unaware that they're being filmed. There is indeed something "wrong" about that, but I still often enjoy it.

I don't think you need to feel like a creep. We'll never know the full story here, so I suggest just taking it as a porn fantasy that you enjoyed. You mentioned your exams coming up--best of luck on those, and if you get to stressed, just give yourself a hand 😊

    • RE: Owner of TheGuySite Murdered

I would not want to be a porn producer whose "production company" consisted of a few lights, a camera, and myself. At the very least some legal infrastructure and background checking is essential.

We know that one of the evils of under-age porn is the regret, guilt, and lasting dysphoria that models have as they get older. The same is true for 18+, or even 30+ guys. I wouldn't want these guys pissed off at me, especially if they are muscular and/or have troubled pasts. The TGS owner is one of a series of "producers" who met untimely ends--remember the guy who did the "Swell80" videos? Don't expect any new productions from him.

I would be concerned for the guy who made the Club1821 series some years back. He took nude videos of 20ish guys, saying they were audition tapes for a modeling career. That might have been part of the ruse, although some of the guys seemed too clueless to be in on that.

Yes, it's bad. It's a nicotine delivery device, and nicotine is highly addictive. Addictions have the potential to take over and ruin someone's life. Yes, it's bad.

Structural comment: Your paragraph starting "here's one reason..." is a non sequitur: You bring up abortion, overpopulation, Trump, China, Taiwan, Biden, etc. That will be red meat to others who pile on and drown out the original vaping topic, which is worthy of discussion. May I suggest that you keep your posts on your original topic so they don't get derailed?

    • RE: The site and the new UK Online Safety Laws

@twinkerzzz said in The site and the new UK Online Safety Laws:

Will ... non-consensual filmed material be made illegal where it is inherently obvious

I didn't see this specifically referenced in the linked article, and I haven't read the text of the "online safety bill," so I could be off-target here.

Much of the discussion seems about ensuring that internet surfers be able to avoid materiel that they don't wish to see--be it nudity, sexual acts, children engaged in same, etc. I am all for user control.

It does sound like the envelope of illegal content could expand:

      • The act lists a number of criminal offences that constitute “priority illegal content”, which means companies within the scope of the bill need to have systems and processes in place to prevent users from encountering such material.

      • Those priority offences include: child sexual abuse material; terrorist content; revenge or extreme pornography; and threats to kill. The act wants this sort of content to be proactively targeted by platforms’ moderation systems and processes.

You posed the question as to whether this would affect non-consensual filmed material, some of which I will admit to finding interesting. While the article doesn't explicitly mention non-consensual material, some non-consensual material could be covered by it. There have been laws for decades prohibiting nonconsensual recording, but such laws usually proscribe the recording (audio and/or visual) of a person where they had a "reasonable expectation of privacy." This could be something as boring as a video of me whilst folding shirts in my basement laundry room (which has no windows and thus I would expect privacy) to racier things like filming guys having a piss in a public urinal, or a video of someone in an adjacent toilet stall having a wank, with the belief that they can't be seen. Cases such as these require a complaining witness, either the subject of the video itself or a bystander. (CCTV footage would often nullify the case, as it destroys the "expectation of privacy.')

I appreciate the OP bringing this to our attention. We have certainly not seen the last of it--there will be court challenges, and then further fine tuning when the first batch of offences are charged.

How this law would affect this site is a question best left to the moderators on the torrent side. There is very little material actually hosted on this site; it is mostly a place where someone who wants a specific film is directed to another user who has that film so that they can trade it back and forth. The site already bans content ( https://www.gaytor.rent/notallowed.php ) that would be illegal in many jurisdictions, even if none of it is hosted here. One possible effect of this law might be that a site would need to flash a banner on log-in checking to see if a person were over 18 (or relevant age in their jurisdiction) and willing to see nudity and sex. I trust the mods have considered this and deemed it unnecessary.

    • RE: How to download Youtube videos?

I use Viddly YouTube Downloader ( https://viddly.net/eng12 ) which works really well. There's a very well-featured free version, and also a paid version (which I have) that does even more.

One nifty thing about it is that if you have it enabled as a Windows startup process, any time you copy a YouTube URL to the clipboard, it will automatically start and it's just one click to do the download. (This feature can be disabled.) There's also a Mac version, which probably has similar functionality.
