You're fine.
The size difference between the offerings has to be less than 10% (and you're way beyond that) to even be considered a "duplicate"–according #2 in "Uploading Rules"...

…I’ll be joining him at his next appointment with his doctor. Along with health details and issues, I plan to address, and hopefully settle the matters regarding power of attorney, and my rights (or lack thereof) as a non-family member.
That appointment is later this month.
I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to what other things should be discussed.
Have you had to deal with something similar?
Is it something that you will probably face in the future? How prepared are you? ???
Tchaikovsky: Violin Concerto in D major op.35
…one of my favorite classical pieces since first hearing it in 1983, after finding it similar to some movie music I liked at the time–Bill Conti’s score for the Academy winning motion picture The Right Stuff–which is what I’m currently listening to.
“The Right Stuff” Theme - https://youtu.be/tCblQ_fnPpc

i ll just take a moment to tell you , Ellis: that the imgs in your profile soften my heart xD
Thank you justwith for the sweet comment.
Wow!–61! ???
Out of the 63 movies IMDb has him credited in (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0000200/?nmdp=1&ref_=nm_ql_4#filmography), I’ve seen the ones listed below.
I can’t say I remember him specifically in each of the movies, and I don’t remember much about three of the movies–Frank & Jesse, Trespass, and The Lords of Discipline.
However, looking at just the movies themselves, Mighty Joe Young, Boxing Helena, and The Dark Backward are the three movies I know I didn’t care for; and the rest of the movies, outside of maybe just an okay for Next of Kin, I liked–most of them I really liked--especially the ones in bold.
2014 Nightcrawler - Joe Loder
2014 Edge of Tomorrow - Master Sergeant Farell
2013 2 Guns - Earl
2013 The Colony - Mason
2001 Frailty - Dad Meiks
2000 Vertical Limit - Elliot Vaughn
2000 U-571 - Lt. Cmdr. Mike Dahlgren
1998 Mighty Joe Young - Gregg O’Hara
1998 A Simple Plan - Hank
1997 Titanic - Brock Lovett
1996 The Evening Star - Jerry Bruckner
1996 Twister - Bill Harding
1995 Frank & Jesse - Frank James
1995 Apollo 13 - Fred Haise
1994 True Lies - Simon
1993 Tombstone - Morgan Earp
1993 Boxing Helena - Ray O'Malley
1992 Trespass - Vince
1992 One False Move - Dale 'Hurricane' Dixon
1991 The Dark Backward - Gus
1990 Predator 2 - Jerry Lambert
1989 Next of Kin - Gerald Gates
1986 Aliens - Private Hudson
1985 Commando - Intercept Officer
1984 The Terminator - Punk Leader
1984 Streets of Fire - Clyde the Bartender
1983 Lords of Discipline - Gilbreath (as 'Wild' Bill Paxton)

“Merry Christmas, Mr. Lawrence” (1983) Ryuichi Sakamoto
By Michael Nyman, and my favorite tracks from the 1997 original soundtrack, Gattaca…

“The Departure” - https://youtu.be/qkKBKFMSIkI
“Jamie’s Cryin’” (1978) Van Halen
Out of the Van Halen songs I’m familiar with, this is definitely my favorite by far.
I had no idea this came out in 1978, and it was from their debut album. (My first time hearing it wasn’t until after 2000!)
"Official" music video…
Biracial Black and Japanese
Ethnicity has never been an issue, with attractions to, and relationships and “hook-ups” with a mix of guys and girls.
The attraction for me usually comes as a result of the other person having an interest in me. Being relatively shy and insecure, I’ve seldom been the one to make the advances, never having done so with any of the men.
Men have been Italian, Filipino, and of the “White” guys, Polish and German the only two nationalities I’m sure of.
A little more variation with the females who have been Black, White, Italian, Puerto Rican, and biracial Black and Filipino, Black and White, Black and German, and Black and French.
So, the range is pretty open as to what’s most likely to catch my eye, or turn my head–totally open, and equal across the board when it comes to women. With the guys though, that same broad range would be equal, with “White” and someone who “looks” like me at opposite ends of that range.
My best wishes to you both.
If you were lucky enough to find THE love of your life, I bet knowing that you have to let him go in some way or another is pretty painful. And I understand you refusing to acknowledge how the time together was becoming shorter. But the important thing is that you enjoyed it, and he enjoyed it too.
Now, since Bobby seemed to be the provider in the relationship, is your turn to step up and show him that you will be fine by yourself when he leaves. I bet he's worried of what will become of you once he's gone, demonstrate him you will be strong so he can feel at ease and focus in enjoying the remaining time he has with you.
Wow!
Eridanos…thank you so much for your words and thoughts.
Not only moving–a deep sigh, exhaling a shuddering breath as I read them--but also very helpful in pointing out some very important things to keep in mind, which, up until now, hadn’t even crossed my mind!
Thank you again.
A few months away from 35 years in a relationship destined to last a lifetime–what once was all the joy in looking forward to sharing so many wonderful years together, has now become gloom in looking ahead to the much too quickly approaching time when there won’t be any moments shared together.
Sometime in the last 8 years or so is when I recall first hearing him projecting how much time he had--6 years.
Strange or not, I never gave any real or serious thoughts to a time when he would no longer be there, always instead seeing that as being too far ahead to think about--more, that thinking about it was depressing enough.
Over the years that projected number whittled down to 2 years--a countdown that started a couple of years ago. Hearing that is when I started listening.
Soon thereafter I began witnessing things, and seeing things–changes in physical mobility--things that jarred me, realizing these things were not going to go away, and more likely just the first of many changes to come.
About a week ago, the plural “years” was replaced, and the first mention of the singular “year”–which brought about a new sense of urgency and action…
A reality that I still find difficult to believe--I’ll be joining him at his next appointment with his doctor. Along with health details and issues, I plan to address, and hopefully settle the matters regarding power of attorney, and my rights (or lack thereof) as a non-family member.
Bobby is the only reason I’m in such a dream relationship. My many needs and wants fulfilled. Outside of asking, the only thing required of me is to provide the details to Bobby, who then makes it all happen!
Liking to think that I’m one who looks at the positives first, assessing any negatives later, I now see the consequences of blindly living my catered life. Knowing that there is no "money tree" keeping things afloat, and behind it all is the constant and ongoing processing of expenses, assets–all of that other junk that I haven’t dealt with in years, and never anything on the level of that which Bobby deals with.
I am aware of the existence of things such numerous accounts, debts, assets, property titles, etc.–but clueless as to what needs doing, regarding them.
With quite a bit at stake in this empire he’s worked hard to build, intended to cover me to the end, pointing out where he’s stashed the “living trust” stuff is far short of all I need to know, and there’s definitely a whole lot more he’ll have to pass on to me. (As for the “living trust”--I couldn’t say with 100% certainty that I know where it is at this very moment…or what I’m supposed to do with it!)
In closing, and not settled on the specific topic of this post, or its point--outside of sharing a little bit more about us, it would be great to get an idea of what needs to be done, what possibly to expect, or anything else others might have experienced, or even just thought, looking at a relationship approaching its twilight.

In posting this, I’ve just realized that they’ve all been older, ranging from a couple of months to a couple of decades; knowing the actual ages of just two of them, the oldest one being about 22 years my senior–Bobby “CrusaderRab”--love of my life, my partner, coming up on 35 years together…

Our “first time” was way back in 1982. He was 44--twice my age at 22. Our last get-together–believe it or not--was probably 15 years ago!
Yet here we are still, approaching what some might call the twilight of our relationship--one more fantastic, unlike any I had ever envisioned, and truly destined to last a lifetime.
The other of the two, ironically is at the opposite end of the scale at just two months older, and he’s the “other” of my two significant others; and we’re coming up on close to a quarter of a century together!
The images are of the other loves of my life…my other SO, taken about 3-4 years ago; and my sister and her kids with “grandma”–my niece and nephew, and my mom, in the mid- to late 90’s.
I doubt any relationship with a major age gap (like more than 7 years or so) would last. You'd start running into the problem of just having different priorities in life which would make it impossible to want to stay together.
Well…you're so wrong…
When we got together in 1982, I was 22--half his age at 44, and we're coming up on 35 years!
However, I will admit, anybody else would've "fired" me long before now. >:D I always say, "Anybody could last in a relationship with a Bobby ("CrusaderRab")."
Here's a little history of us in some of my posts…

“All About Love” - Maurice White (1941-2016)
“…you are as beautiful as your thoughts…and if there ain’t no beauty, you got to make some beauty…”–“All About Love”
Over the many years of many hits--from That’s the Way of the World (1975), and Head to the Sky (1973)–“All About Love” and “Keep Your Head to the Sky” have always been at the top of a long list of my favorite recordings by Earth, Wind & Fire, ever since hearing them for the first time…almost 45 years ago!
A decade later, during my junior year at Cal, I saw them at what was then the Oakland Coliseum. Without a doubt, it was one of the best concerts I’ve ever seen--with solid performances all around, great special effects and props, plus bits of “magic” tossed in throughout the show!
I was surprised recently to find Maurice White on an obituary list of notables, and a little more bummed today for some reason, after seeing it mentioned again.
Rolling Stone…
Songs that bring on a feeling of melancholy with nostalgic memories of high school dances and house parties–hearing them right now, there’s sadness as well with the loss of Maurice White “…in peace” (1941-2016)
“All About Love”…
“Keep Your Head to the Sky”…
His passing was definitely a surprise. As far as "too soon" goes–as I get older and see those I grew up with pass away with more frequency, and those dearest to me--Bobby and my mom at 79 and 80...yes, 74 is way too soon!
These are just generalizations in the various aspects of your daily life, and how things for you seem to go. It may not always be the case, but on average…you could say so. (And of course, the little notes tagged to the votes...just something totally in fun from me and my warped mind. >:D)
Naturally, as I think it would be, I'm pretty sure we all would love to be on the early side of things–avoiding the stress of having to rush, and leaving yourself with time--a valuable commodity in itself. However, as true as that may be, it is what it is; and you do what you can do!
I’d have to say that for the most part, I tend to “run late.”
Procrastination, overoptimistic, underestimation (that’s me)--or just plain “stupid” (yeah…that’s me too)--usually attributed to this tendency of mine.
For better or worse--I guess I’d also have to say that it’s to the point where it’s almost expected of me. Before I started texting my bowling team directly, I used to call the bowling alley and ask them to pass the message to my team. So I’m calling in one evening, and had to laugh when the standard, and expected greeting, “Good evening, Albany Bowl…” was replaced with “Ellis…you’re going to be late…” upon seeing my phone number displayed on their console.
So, in general, it is fair to say that I tend to run a little bit late.
What about you?
I’m pretty sure Sylvester’s qualifies…
"You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)" (1978) Sylvester
Johnny’s may be a stretch, but I like thinking that he’s got a guy on his mind ;)…
“Some quiet evenings I sit by your side
And we're lost in a world of our own
I feel the glow of your unspoken love
I'm aware of the treasure that I own
And I say to myself, it's wonderful, wonderful
Oh, so wonderful my love!”
“Wonderful! Wonderful!” (1957) Johnny Mathis
