      It really depends on whom you're asking.

      I'd say that it could pretty much be any sport–encompassing a variety of events, seeing a range of athletes with many different builds; therefore reflecting the many types considered as appealing to such a diverse community in terms of its members, and their individual tastes.

      Yet here we are–together since May 13, 1982--total opposites in so many ways, and me with a tattoo and three piercings...go figure.

      (BTW…This is the first time I've seen this post of yours, and I saw another as well--and with a whole lot more "information")...We definitely have to talk. ???

    • RE: Last album you bought?

      It was at least 10 years ago, and I think it was this one–depicted in the first two images.

      I bought it for Five Variants of "Dives and Lazarus" after hearing it on the radio broadcast from the local classical music station…

      Youtube Video

      It’s one of the few classical albums I have that isn’t a compilation of music by various artists, that I really like; and that, along with Antonin DvorĆ”k’s "Symphony No. 9, From the New World" being a couple of my favorites of the genre.

      Coincidentally, both are by Academy of St. Martin in the Fields, conducted by Sir Neville Marriner–sad, and ironically, while on-line putting together this post, I just saw that he recently passed away...

      @eastonkellan:

      Ours is "Lupang Hinirang_" (which up to this date, some still thought that the title of our National Anthem is "Bayang Magiliw").

      For the history of how it became our National Anthem visit this link_ Lupang Hinirang

      Thanks! I appreciate the knowledge and the URL link. šŸ˜„

    • What's your country's national anthem?

      Ours, in the United States, is The Star-Spangled Banner, but I think there’s a lot of sentiment–mine included (mine being based more on the tune as opposed to the words)--towards America the Beautiful.

      As one living in a world with so many countries, I’m familiar with just a minute handful of national anthems of the hundreds that exist. There are probably no more than five tunes, upon hearing that I could recognize as a national anthem.

      Given that extremely small group, based just on the melody (with the exception of the ending which–to me--sort of just stops), and maybe somehow related in part to my being biracial Black/Japanese, Japan’s Kimigayo is a favorite…

      Youtube Video

      So what’s your country’s national anthem, or well-loved and considered alternate?

      (With no disrespect to our neighbors across the pond, should yours change to I Vow to Thee, My Country, and ours to America the Beautiful, I’ll have two more favorite national anthems!)

      I Vow to Thee, My Country - Festival of Remembrance…

      America the Beautiful - The Mormon Tabernacle Choir…

    • RE: Any tennis fans?

      I was a fan from about the mid 70’s through the 90’s–rooting for the likes of Borg, and Lendl, and Agassi on the men’s side, and Goolagong (Goolagong-Cawley), Wade, Sanchez-Vicario, and Martina (of course) on the women’s--but for whatever reason, lost interest after that.

      I remember, as a kid, enjoying and spending what seemed like hours in the garage, smacking and returning balls hit against the garage doorĀ  šŸ˜„

      ...and the total frustration in attempts at playing an actual game (with a real opponent) on the court. Forget about getting any type of rally going. It seldom went past volleying for serve. šŸ˜ž

      Anyway, not much of a fan here.

      Okuribito ("Departures") (2008)

      Trailer…

      http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1069238/

      Additional information…

      https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Departures_(2008_film)

      Winner in the ā€œBest Foreign Language Filmā€ category at the 81st Academy Awards in 2009 (and I’ve laughed and cried every time watching it…at least 3 times so far).

      The above is from my ā€œā€¦foreign filmā€ forum post–and make that at least 4 times now--still laughed (and cried). Six minutes into the movie, the needle was in–I was chuckling with the scene, and the first little bit of "choking up" quickly followed--right around the 8 minute mark (...flashing on what's in store). :blownose:

      Full movie--Japanese language with English subtitles (check it out, I’m pretty sure you won’t be disappointed--I give it an 8/10...at the very least)…

      @JohnEryn:

      @Shinzon75:

      I don't understand why some men, cut their penis.

      That's what I was originally going to post, but opted for the "extreme piercing" post instead.

      A hot clip I was watching ended up being not so much so for me once I saw the guy's dick–"butterflied"--just like a sausage!

      Personally, I couldn't believe that that could be the result of something intentional--yet on the other hand, it would've had to been one really, really "freak" accident, so I figured I'd just leave it alone.???

      What clip is that? I need to see it too.  😊

      I think I trashed the clip, but I just Googled "gay porn guy with split penis" and out of the tons of offerings, I clicked one…

      http://www.xtube.com/video-watch/Guy-Showing-Off-Pierced-Split-In-Half-Penis-12539531

      …not the same video, but it's got to be the same guy (I would think); and if not, it definitely is the same injury/modification...OUCH! :crazy2:

      @chiwut:

      That was the most nerve wracking, gut wrenching, roller coaster of a game last night. So proud of the Cubs! Especially my husband, Ben Zobrist (omg I wish right?). Although would totally bang Joe Maddon, David Ross and/or Jon Lester in a heartbeat.

      Alright, alright, alright…

      Go ahead and wave the flag.

      That sucks!

      I thought for sure after they tied it, that Cleveland was going to "wake" the Cubs up from that dream!

      Booo…

      We'll just have to "win for Vin" next year...besides, it's football season now! (LOL)…

      GOĀ  CHIEFS! :cheers:

      ā€œDinosaur 13ā€ (2014)

      7/10

      A moving documentary centered on Sue, the world's greatest dinosaur discovery in 1990.

      I never would’ve thought a documentary about some ā€œfossil huntersā€ could stir up so much emotion. šŸ˜ž

      A fellow Peanuts fan! Ā :hug2: There's nothing that brings a smile like Snoopy and the gang. May the memories of those times stay with you, and maybe you can make new ones as you go through life.

      Linus and Lucy (1965) Vince Guaraldi Trio

      Everything about this always brings a smile and warm feeling–the song, the video, and of course the program ā€œA Charlie Brown Christmas.ā€

      These days there’s also a bit of meloncholiness accompanying that smile and warm feeling knowing that I’ll never be closer to those times than I am today, and every moment that passes finds me further and further away. ???

      @herrleelee:

      wish I had a partner

      If you actually do make that wish, make sure to be specific with the details.

      You don't want to be stuck with a dud–or worse of course.

      I'm sure there's a whole bunch of folks who would rather be without, than to be with the one they currently have.

      I know it's pretty sad that I can't say for sure–100% across the board, whether or not it is, seeing as I've lived here forever.

      It's just I hear so many little blurbs about this state or that, which I really don't pay much attention to, and currently there isn't any need for my concern.

      Guessing…I'd say, for the most part, I think it is recognized in some form or another, depending on the particular state, but I wouldn't be willing to "stake my life" on it. ???

    • RE: Will you marry your partner in the future?

      Yes, if the need warranted–for example, having to meet some requirement afforded to a "spouse" and being a "partner" of any type doesn't qualify.

      Another reason would be that of "financial gain" (or more importantly, avoiding financial loss in terms of taxes behind all of that "estate planning" stuff–wills, inheritances, property...yadda, yadda, yadda.)

      Outside of that, probably not.
