It's only disinformation because you don't like what is being said.

You believe everything that CNN, Rachel Maddow, and Joy Reid pull out of their asses because they hate Trump nearly as much as you do. You don't care that they have been proven to be liars several times.

There you go again with the inflammatory and incendiary ranting...

For something to be a lie, it doesn't just have to be wrong, the person stating it has to KNOW - right then and there - that it is wrong... AS they are saying it!

When I walk into the door of your home and smell the dinner in the oven, I can honestly, say "dinner smells wonderful"... when I later learn that dinner is going to be Swansons in the microwave, and that what I smelled was your neighbor's BBQ... I didn't lie! But I sure as hell was wrong!

I don't watch Rachel Maddow (or any other show on MSNBC) - any more than I watch the non-news shows on Fox News... I generally don't look to the "talking heads" to tell me what I should think.

I honestly don't know who Joy Reid is at all...

I happen to know about the "national debt" (and the paper-tiger that it is) because I studied it during my MBA education. Yes, I would say my professor was a liberal... no, I wouldn't say he was wrong (at least not about everything).... He had some ideas I thought were liberal (and wacky), but the majority of the class was about economic facts - and how to tell the fact from the opinion. Also, how to detect "spun" facts.

It was the 2nd time I'd heard the Mark Twain quote:
"There are 3 types of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, & Statistics"
(Mind you, he didn't invent the phrase - but he did popularize it!)

What happened on 6 Jan 2021 was nothing compared to anything BLM did over the last decade or so.

If you didn't suffer from such extreme TDS, you would understand that doing $$$ Billions in damage to the country is far worse than a small crowd causing a bit of bother in the Capitol.

The only thing people like you think is "terrorism" is something you can sorta blame on Trump, even when you have to lie to do it.

You don't know history very well.

Violently setting fire to a business district in MN is not even remotely the same thing as violently invading the US Capitol with the shouted intent of murdering the Vice President of the US! I guess the fact that they were unsuccessful lessens the offense? Maybe in your twisted "Trump can do no wrong" world-view, but not the the rest of the sane universe.

Umm, you are the Democrat and you admitted you voted for Biden/Harris. So you love the liars.

I love how you keep linking me to Qannon when the only thing I know from them, and don't believe, is pizza-gate.

You don't care about the truth when it comes to Trump. You just spew whatever TDS shite you get from the liberal media.

Hands Up Don't Shoot, Breonna Taylor, and everything else is a lie. They claim to be marxists, yet they are profiteering for personal gains.

If I was the only registered Republican to vote against Donald "The Orange Don" Trump in 2020, he'd have won re-election! (Proof: look at the down-ballot results! The Presidency was -BY FAR- the most common "cross ticket" vote recorded in 2020!)... and to be clear, I didn't vote for Biden-Harris! If the Dems had put up Mickey Mouse and Goofy, I'd have strongly considered them vs. 4 more years of impeachments, lies, graft, and scandal!

I'm not the one unwilling to consider the truth... I haven't said DT got EVERYTHING wrong! He did a lot of GOOD things for the economy, though he botched International trade. Still, there was a lot he did that was actually in-line with what I would have wanted done... but if you build the most beautiful swimming pool next to a sewage treatment plant, you can't be surprised when people complain about the smell! Trump built a nice pool... but he surrounded himself with shit - and the result was even worse than when he got there!

And finally, you keep inferring that I'm some kind of BLM/Antifa supporter. That would be considered a LIE - because I've made it clear - multiple times - that it is untrue, and you cannot possibly know better than I what my own thoughts and feelings about them are.... so, for you to repeat such claims, you are indeed a liar in this instance.

Ah, so I'm a liar. How nice of you.

Then again, you are a RINO swampie.

No, I said you had problems with the truth...
When you are deceived and then propagate that deception, it is not "truth"...
But to be a liar, you would have to KNOW what you said was untrue.
The fact that you're factually wrong does not make you a liar... it just makes you wrong. When you then refuse to acknowledge facts when they are presented, well... then, you have a problem with the truth!

I would never presume to know whether you know that the disinformation you regurgitate from right-wing extremist media is false when you post it... so I would never presume to call you a liar... just wrong... and just (at least often) unwilling to accept when that is pointed out to you.

NOTE: I'm not talking philosophical differences here - I'm talking facts: like Trumps inauguration being the largest crowd ever, like Trump's election losses in 2018 being fake, like Trumps election loss in 2020 being "stolen"... and those are just the easy ones! 🙂

I love when conservatives bitch about the debt, citing Medicare, but then conveniently forget that it was their boy, George W. Bush, that created the last, large entitlement program, Medicare Part D.

True Conservatives know that both "pure" Capitalism and "pure" Socialism are equally impossible and implausible. The key isn't blindly following one or the other... there are parts of our economy that are best-served by capitalism (e.g. most commerce), and others that are best served by socialism (e.g. basic healthcare).

It's not just many years into the future, but also the rampant theft from Medicare and SSI for the last 7 decades. Ike started the trend and most if not all Presidents after him also raided those accounts.

If those accounts had what the UK calls "triple locks" then they would be safe. Since they don't, we keep hearing how SSI won't be around much longer without a miracle, despite everyone paying into it.

I know I would be banned from most gay sites since I am not a liberal.

I do love how you are anti-Republican unless they are RINO swampies, then you love them. I'm starting to wonder if you are actually Nancy Pelosi.

There you go again: if I don't support your hyperbolic over-reaction to a liberal, then I must support the liberal! If I say anything at all against a Conservative, I must be a Liberal...

Your logic is as flawed as the equation: 1 + 1 = pi

My arguments are not in favor of the dumb, loud-mouthed, short-sighted Rep Waters, they're against your assertion that they're the worst thing since the Nixon Watergate tapes!

The US Congress is made up of 535 individual cats... each with their own agenda and their own personality. They often clash, and they often make spectacles of themselves... MANY of them have learned from "Super Orange Man" that this is not a bad political strategy: stay in the headlines, stay in office! (ok, almost stay in office) - but honestly, barring COVID, was there ANY CHANCE Trump wouldn't have been re-elected? As much as I despise his methods and divisiveness, he had to have a pandemic to lose re-election, and he kept it razor-thin close! It was working!

Chauvin was convicted on all counts.

I guess the jury didn't want any more riots. How stupid of them, they will riot no matter what.

Quite the contrary - it seems to me that the jury believed their own eyes (it was videotaped - start-to-finish, albeit from multiple sources) and the Chief of Police of the very department that Chauvin worked for...

This was a no-brainer... The detainment of Floyd was fully lawful for the first 5 minutes... it became abuse of power over the next 2-minutes... it became criminal in the last 3 minutes (when Floyd passed).

Again with the unwarranted extension of my argument: I think the Salem Witch Trials were a dark stain on the history of America... that doesn't mean I support Witchcraft!

This isn't an either/or thing... I can think that the raid on the US Capitol was an affront to our Democracy... I can think that BLM marches that turn violent are criminal and equally as bad...

The fact that you defend BLM is just more proof that you are nothing more than a RINO swampie.

You love to conflate and exaggerate, don't you...
Just because I said your claim of BLM: "Their entire agenda is based on lies." that it was "the pot calling the kettle black" doesn't mean I support them, or their agenda. It means I find your argument against them to be hyperbolic (really? EVERY part of their agenda is based on lies?), trivial, and ironic - given that you are such a staunch supporter of one of the biggest liars in US political history.

As in other threads: I can fault your logic and claims against liberals - because they're often untrue, exaggerated, twisted, or sometimes just plain QAnon-silly (like the claim that the "deep state" actually, literally eats human children!), and I can do so without believing the liberals you falsely accuse and berate are good in any way themselves.

I don't defend BLM, but I do decry making them seem or sound worse than they actually are. There are plenty of legitimate gripes against BLM (or Biden) - you don't need to make ship up against them!

Recently I've come across the terms "Pozzing" and "Stealthing" which basically is intentionally infecting a bottom with HIV/ADIS.
Is this more of a buzz word?
It makes me wonder if most bareback porn is considered pozzing or the actors perform tests prior to fucking bareback? (depends on the studio of course)

have you ever been knowingly pozzed or unknowingly stealth-pozzed?
what are your thoughts on the matter?

These terms (as well as the term "bug-chaser") were far more common pre-PrEP. Porn studios today strongly encourage their actors to use (be on) PrEP - not just for their own protection, but also to alleviate "tension" on the set. Mind you, they still test - but when everyone in the scene is on PrEP (which implies being HIV-, and being regularly tested for HIV so that you can remain on PrEP), there is far less "trust" needed...

      https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9488919/Derek-Chauvin-trial-judge-blasts-abhorrent-Rep-Maxine-Waters.html

I know our resident RINO defended her previously when I pointed out her comments when she told crowds to gather around and get in the faces of the Trump White House, while blaming Trump for 6 Jan.

      Here's what the judge in the Chauvin case said about Mad Maxine's recent comments;

'Maxine Waters may have handed defense grounds for appeal and the turning over of this trial':

Trump was impeached for far, far less.

Um, no Trump was impeached for far MORE! The folks he "incited to riot" actually DID - right then and there! They marched right across town and invaded the Congress, with the STATED GOAL of killing political leaders!

Mind you, Maxine Waters should be impeached for HER comments too! That was just dumb, and totally uncalled-for. The assumption is (was) that the cop will be found not-guilty.

In a recent Congressional hearing, despite House rules on decorum, Mad Maxine told Rep Jim Jordan to "shut your mouth" and the Chair refused to do anything about the rule violation. If this was reversed, RINOs, liberals and swampies would have lost their minds.

Oh please! Have you ever watched Ted Cruz in-committee? There is a 245-year history of legislators calling each other names, shouting each other down, and so forth. You do realize that original purpose of the "Sergeant at Arms" of the house was to remove (confiscate) weapons (of all manner) from the legislators as they entered the meeting room and to return them upon their departure? Swords, knives, guns - you had to check them with the Sergeant at Arms when you entered...

    • RE: National Debt Exceeds $123 Trillion, or Nearly $800,000 per Taxpayer

Americans are incredibly gullible... almost to the point of being stupid.

Does it seem like the Government is just printing more money? Really?

      It should!

Because that's exactly what's happening! We're not "selling treasury bonds" to pay for COVID... we're just "printing money!!!" -- and we (Americans) can actually do this (and get away with it) because we're the "default" currency for the rest of the world (technically: the "reserve" currency).

The "concept" of US Government debt comes from a time when our currency and "money supply" were tied to "the Gold Standard" (and GOLD was the world's "Reserve Currency")... today, this ain't that! Back then, the world's economies were a "zero sum game" - for me to make more money, someone had to lose money - because there was a finite amount of gold to go around. There is no reason for that anymore - we can ALL get $1400 in cash, and ALL "win" -- without there being ANY losers, because we (technically, the US Treasury) can LITERALLY just print more money!

One of the first times we "dipped into" the idea of just pumping cash into the economy (with no real "debt" as a result) was the economic crisis that Obama inherited... only thing was, they were dumb enough to think that the "right way" to inject all that cash into the economy was to "give" it to the banks! After all, if you give THEM the money, they'll LEND IT!!! Right? That's what banks do? Lend money? (Edit: I should give credit where it is due: It was George W Bush's administration that thought up of the idea of "quantitative easing" and resolving the banking crisis with a cash injection - Obama inherited the solution! He just had to execute it, and he did that poorly... to be kind to him!)

Nope... and that's why the "economic recovery" under Obama was so unbearably slow... Banks propped up their balance sheets with that cash... bought back stock with that cash... paid HUGE bonuses to their executives with that cash... and loaned VERY LITTLE of that cash!

Trump and the Republicans were far smarter when it became clear that COVID was was CRUSHING our economy in 2020... f**k the banks, give the cash DIRECTLY to the American People! They'll do what the banks didn't: they'll SPEND IT!

Prudent people would pay off their debts (credit cards, back rent)... that's what the "professionals" (the banks) did last time.... but that's not American! No, we BOUGHT SHIT! And it WORKED!

The problem with that formula, though, is that when you put soo much (too much) cash into the economy, there is inflation... keep it up and you can ALSO get yourself back to the 1970's nightmare: stagflation (inflation with a stagnant economy!)

Long story short - we're not borrowing the $2T for COVID relief (or, the $3T for infrastructure, if that passes)... we're just "injecting it" into the economy... in layman's terms: we're just printing money!
