Oh, I thought that as long as I am seeding it should show I am uploading regardless of other users having interest or not (not that I manage to raise my ratio even if I seed new freeleech torrents, but that's another story)

Website shows no uploading torrents even when seeding
As the title suggests, I just noticed that even though my qbitorrent is open and I am seeding torrents from this website, when I log in it shows that a am nor uploading nor downloading* any torrents at the moment.
Sadly I've noticed it only just now, so I don't know how long it has been going for.
Any ideas of what can I do or what should I check?
I've tried downloading a torrent yesterday and it worked fine, so the problem is either with the seeding itself or the website failing to recognize I am doing so.Thanks in advance!
*To be fair, I really am not downloading anything at the moment, so it may not be part of the bug.

RE: Question About Using Bonus Points
@eobox91103 said in Question About Using Bonus Points:
but set your torrent client to only download maybe 10% of the files.
First of all, thanks for your reply and for the tip!
I tried once downloading only part of a torrent and it acted as if I'm still downloading the torrent even after I started seeding. Is there a way to fix that? -
Question About Using Bonus Points
I wasn't sure which sub category is right for this question so I hope it's okay I'm posting it here.
I have troubling seeding sufficiently and increasing my ratio, so I worry that if I'll download another torrent it will reduce me to <1 ratio. Luckily, I have relatively many bonus points to use. The thing is, I'm not sure how to use them:
If I purchase the 2.5gb uploaded for example, does it mean I have 2.5gb I can download without it effecting my ratio, or does it mean that my ratio will change as if I have uploaded 2.5gb of content to the site? Thanks in advance

RE: Ports fowarded but no seeding
@vmalar I'm not entirely sure what a seedbox is.
Should I get a VPN in general or is it mainly for the seeding? -
RE: Ports fowarded but no seeding
Hey @bi4smooth, thanks for the detailed answer!
So if I understood you correctly my ISP can realize I'm seeding torrents and block this site's specific ip correct? Shouldn't I get a message that they are blocking one of my actions? (it's kind of rude).
I'll try changing the ports and hopefully it will help, though for some reason I never managed to forward ports without manually opening the router AND adding an exception in the firewall for these ports (in addition to the qbittorrent ones).
I actually thought about buying a VPN but many people told me it's not really necessary and can even slow down my internet (which is crappy as it is due to old infrastructure). Do you have any recommendations?
Oh, one thing I should mention, yesterday I found out that one torrent did manage to seed a bit. I don't know what made it special since it is still the only one, but maybe it means the problem is elsewhere? Thanks again!

Ports fowarded but no seeding
This may be a common problem but none of the other posts I've seen fitted my current conditions.
In the recent days I've noticed no peers are connecting to the torrents I'm seeding. Even though my ports are forwarded and testing in canyouseeme.com comes out okay, no one in the swarm connects to my any seeding. I do however manage to seed on other websites.
The problem is that it is effecting my ratio and from 3.0 I've fallen down to almost 1.0
I've been using this site for a while now and seeding was never an issue but now all of a sudden it is
I use qBittorrent ver.4.3.4.1 on a Windows 10 64 bit machine
Thanks in advance -
Accidentally spent points at the bonus points store
Hello,
I recently upload my first torrent (hooray) and got the bonus points reward.
Yesterday I wanted to use the points but I forgot how and lost the guide, so while wandering through the profile I found the bonus points store. The thing is, that with my high wisdom I thought that you click for each thing you did (e.g. uploaded xGB or successfully invited someone) to get the reward points and not the other way around. When I realized my mistake, I've already spent around 465 points on things I didn't want (I think I bought two 1Gb download, one 5Gb download and one Invite). Is there a way to refund me and take the things I accidentally bought?
I made sure not to download anything so I won't accidentally trigger the rewards. Thanks in advance and sorry for the idiotic mistakeย

Three questions regarding first time upload
Hey,
I'm about to create and upload my first torrent (yay) and I'm a little bit completely paranoid, so they might be a bit silly questions, but I would still appreciate an answer:1. Major paranoia, but how can I protect myself when creating and uploading the torrent? I'm worried about fingerprints and what not because downloading a torrent is one thing, but creating one is a whole different story. (Plus I signed up to the site with a gmail account, I don't know if I should've used a more protected email (if there is such)
2. I have 35 videos I intend to upload. Is it better to divide the torrent to multiple parts or should I send it as a one huge mega torrent (especially considering the first upload reward that I'm not sure if I need to upload a 10GB worth of content or not)
3. After uploading, will it help if I use another computer to seed it from there too, or since it would still be the same user it won't do any difference?
Thanks in advance

RE: A massive drop of ratio after one torrent
Thank you for all your tips!
I still didn't download more than 1 gb, but I understand that downloading heavier files (such as 555 photos) can affect my ratio so much.
If I may, I have a newer problem (and even a more critical one). Because I am a horsemen of the Apocalypse when it comes to technology. I managed to fuck things up and had to reinstall windows completely, thus losing all of my torrents and files for seeding*.
It may come a bit selfish, but for the sake of my account, my first priority is to bump up my ratio once again to a "safe zone" (because between my last message and this one, my ratio dropped to 2.6). How do you recommend to do so?
Of course I want to seed because it's the right thing to do, but being banned won't help anyone.*Technically I do have one file left on another computer, but I won't be able to reach it until Tusday
