I mean no disrespect to anyone who is or into trans but Would it be possible change Trans into "Turn off" category, similar to what the site dose to the Straight and Bisexual categories. With it being vary popular category, to be able to completely filter it out would be nice.

Furthermore, I also see more future opportunities for the trans community on the site by doing this. like splitting up Trans category into Trans Male and Trans Female, giving the site wider trans representation and being something a user can turn off means. no one can get upset or irritated by the amount Trans content on the site.

It would also allow Anime Games, Books & Magazines and Comic & Yaoi categories can host Trans content instead of being shoved into one  category.

I've always been out spoken about this as well. I just think it's beyond backward, to call a site "gay torrent," and demand that non-porn be gay themed, then turn around and allow straight, bi, and trans videos. That makes absolutely NO SENSE!! Not only that, many of the uploaders constantly put these in incorrect titles. Not everyone likes that. It can be pretty upsetting to look in desired categories, and see all this other shit. Trans porn should be in a separate community. Straight porn has no business on a gay site, as their are only four fingers worth of gay sites, and an abundance of straight shit.

For me it would be the pink triangle. Not that I don't identify with the rainbow too, it's just that I still believe that the gay community, or queer community in general, is (or at least should be) not only about partying and celebrations of queer identity, but also about fighting for equal rights and changing the world one step at a time.

I prefer the pink triangle, it has sentimental meaning. It represents an era of my life. That pink triangle is a loaded symbol, and I think it's a shame that most younger LGBTQ people can't even begin to understand history that pink triangle represents.

The added value I see of adding "I seed 24/7" is it shows the uploader's consistency - I've never had a stalled or in-transfer dead torrent from him. He shares high-quality scenes from numerous studios and a search for the signature brings up all his past uploads. It is a signature, and a good enough reason for him to keep it in his posts. Also when looking for scenes I sometimes want to cut to the chase and select from his uploads before browsing the rest.

But really, when I first took notice of his uploads he started out with a slow connection. So when a torrent was seeding at 200 to 500 kB/s members knew to keep their clients running.

The "I seed 24/7" uploader has always intrigued me.

This member uploads SO many of the major studios, and does this in multiple resolution sizes, and does it with AMAZING regularity.  There are some Sunday uploads you can almost set your watch by, happy lol.

I even wondered if this Uploader was, in fact, associated with the site itself.  The rationale being, that members come back to a dependable torrent site for these popular studios.  And the cost of, say, 10 major website memberships would be a small investment relative to GTRU and its thousands of members.

Of course, this is just idle musing.  Assuming it's the work of an independent individual, we are all endlessly grateful for his commitment and the contributions.  But, it could also be the work of horny space aliens.  In any case, thanks.    :hug:

You know, trackers do use bots these days. They attach some sort of seedbox or high capacity Sans drive, and start automatically grabbing and posting. Not sure how common it is among porn sites tho, as gay content is probably relatively low in comparison to mainstream content.

Thing is, porn has changed a whole lot, since the last 30-40 years. We had simple porn that made sense. Albeit, the actors couldn't act, but we didn't care, because we're not seeing it for their "acting abilities." They used to use a lot of film techniques and good angles that gone in to porn. They also used to have the biggest and the most beautiful bubble butts! Today, studios don't know how to shoot. Maybe it's because you can literally turn on your iPhone and upload it to porn hub.

Unfortunately, this can happen, and I don't think there is very much you can do about it. Sometimes people do a partial download, ultimately sometimes effecting other people's ratio. Perhaps the owner can think about adding a feature in the bonus point section, to buy out all that is perceived "hit and runs." Or just use your current points to fix your ratio. That's what it's  there for.

I'm surprised this is still such a huge topic of discussion. Personally, I don't think it should be done. Not a good idea to associate chocking your chicken with your job. This was something I had no idea it was such a phenomenon. There are all kinds of articles citing lots of medical benefits as a result of wanking at work. But, I also can't help but to noticed, when I visit porn sites at home, I can't help but to notice what seem like an infinite supply of public stall masturbation videos. From that moment on, I've realized it's more common than any of us realize.

Hi everyone.  This morning I was searching for: my family doesn't know. A copy had been uploaded about 7 minutes prior, and i wanted to see if there were other sizes available. The phrase "my family doesn't know" is from the name/title of the upload, not file name or description.

I opened a second tab to search by Size and when I put in the title there was no result, although I was looking at the prior upload on my first tab.

However, when I repeated this but used quotes, I got results.

Obviously the difference was the use of quotation marks. So my question is: what do the quotes do differently in the context of Searching? Or to rephrase, What is the prupose of quotes and does it necessarily yield more results than earching without them?

Quotes means exact, with no variance. Results must must contain exact phrase. However, this may not work for every environment. For instance, using quotes may work for google searches, but another search engine may ignore them.

No mods should give you a problem for that.   It only becomes a problem when it abusive, like say, you report a torrent because you think the actors are ugly.   YES, we have literally had reports like that.  Some people use the report button to like or dislike torrents.

As for the case in this thread, there is a specific Who Is section in the forums.
