      This is interesting. I've always thought the foreign pirate sites were the largest. Most private/public sites I've ever been on have been either Russian, Asian, or other.

      @Gasparzinho:

      Actually their is a research they did on this, with more then 300 couple where one of them are HIV positive and was taking the medicine and the other partner swallow the cum, and one 1 on them got the virus on the body. They Did also on sex and none of the partners who where HIV free got the virus from their lover. So a think that it is safe to suck someone who have the virus, better if they are more than 6 months non-transferable, this way only thing you have to do is not swallow the cum.

      Has everybody but me forgot about "pre-cum?" You've been swallowing that semen before he actually came. It's a moot point.

    • Torrents VS. USENET

      I wanted to take a quick minute to talk about USENET. I will try not to go into a long story. I'll try to make this post as brief as I possibly can; because the reality is there is a lot to know about USENET. So, I'll just spare you the technical details. Way back when, believe it or not, my first USENET experience was when I started using AOL. I don't believe I even heard of USENET until then, didn't even know they existed. I had a very bad experience with USENET, because the boards were constantly attracted by spam, and malware (which probably helped AOL's demise). I absolutely had no desire to pirate using USENET ever again after that!

      However, a LOT has changed since then, and I've heard people praise USENET as being the best platform for pirates. My thing was, if that were true, why are they still using torrents? LOL. I digress. After, perhaps 20 years later, I decided to re-explore the idea of using USENET technology again, and see just how much of that has changed. But before I do that, maybe I should explain some important basic basics about USENET.

      If I remember correctly USENET is an acronym for "User Network." In a nutshell, it started out as a distribution messaging system. Away for people to not only communicate with each other, but a why to offer NEWS UPDATES on personal events, or simply what's going on around the world. Today, we how have the ability to attach binary files, which makes USENET ideal for piracy in a somewhat decentralized way (but not exactly).

      Messages are sent back and forth from something called USENET special interest groups. There's a group for every interest, from sci-fi movies, to porn, to school documents, you name it! I guess you can think of them like message boards, and they're are literally millions of them. The messages sent back and forth from within those groups are called "articles/news articles." The USENET files attached to those articles are *.NZB files. I guess most layman people would think of *.NZB files like torrent files, however, they're really not.

      Before you can even begin to download from USENET, you need a few essential things. You'll need to subscribe to what's called an indexer. The indexer has access to the various groups that has content your looking for. All you have to do is type in a few keywords in the indexer, and it will search through all it's current USENET groups to find your content from within those groups. Once the indexer finds what you want, then download the *.NZB file.

      Now, your gonna need something to download your content. The *.NZB file has information as to where the content your looking for is located, and any other important information needed to download desire content. A huge major difference between a USENET file and a bittorrent file, is that USENET files are stored on a server, and does not depend on seeds for it's speed. But that doesn't mean there aren't any challenges to USENET, it just means that's a slight benefit.

      You'll need a software like SABnzbd, which is just one of the many commonly used software to translate what's in the *.NZB file.

      Unlike torrents that rely on each other's computer, you need to purchase a provider/server. This server offers a place to store necessary information for software like SABnzbd to process your content, and allow you to download it once it's complete. You must purchase a provider, there is no other way of getting around it. I've seen some "free servers," however, they are extremely limited, and eventually you'll wind up purchasing a service from them.

      When you are a member of many indexers, you can add them all to something like NZB Hydra, which is a search engine you can use to search all of your indexers at the same time. It's very quick and efficient.

      So, USENET is an entirely different world from torrent technology. I wouldn't say that USENET is better than torrents, however, I do think that USENET can be used as a backup (or companion if you will) in addition to torrents. One of the most common annoyances with USENET I have is something called RETENTION period. This is how long content stays on a USENET server. Each server, or service will be different, so depending on how old the content is, it could be a hit or miss. Example, a movie you want was posted by someone about 90 days ago, it's safe to say you can probably download that with no problem. However, if you see something you want, and it was posted over 4,000 days ago you probably won't be able to get it, as most servers only a retention period of about 2000-3000 days, sometimes even less than that. Then you also have to deal with copyright take downs. I wouldn't say that these issues are bad enough not to use USENET, but you should consider that when you're looking for a primary source of pirate material.

      So, after explaining to you a little about USENET, do I think it's worth it? Kind of. Like I said, that torrents are better because it's a familiar place for most people. But, then again it depends on what you're looking for. The most important thing is thank goodness malware attacks within USENET seems to be a thing of the past. You'll just have to use it for awhile to see if USENET works for you, and it's something you can technically handle.

      @pols1337:

      Hopefully the first issue something you can bring up with Pawps and the other staff members for discussion and implementation.  I think everyone can agree that GTRU hardly needs more torrents for the sake of quantity (you guys already have an amazing large collection), and everyone would appreciate more careful moderation of curated torrents.

      The second issue is really hard to measure and enforce.  What does it mean to 'not fully seed' … what if your connection gets closed down for an emergency because you have no power? what if it takes you longer to seed?  what if you can't seed during the daytime?  This is a tough scenario and I'd rather be forgiving for torrenters who try to seed.

      Unfortunately, I think the only real way of handling this is to set the tracker to manually approve all torrents before they are actually posted. But, without a dedicated staff, that could be potentially stressful.

      @raphjd:

      We understand that not everyone has the best connection or other issues.  That's not what I'm talking about.

      The problem is people uploading several packs and not finish seeding an of them.

      Oh, ok… That's really bad too. That has got to be a mental problem. Why would anyone upload a huge, knowing they can't seed? That doesn't make any sense at all.

      @pols1337:

      I love the idea of packs myself, since it allows users to grab the 'entire collection' all at once.  One of my concern for torrents that are part of a series is that I might miss one of the torrents, and it gets taken offline before I have a chance to grab it.  There are a lot of old torrents (from before I registered) where I don't think I'll ever be able to grab the complete collection because they were spread across multiple torrents.

      I understand the concern of the OP, though, who wants a fully seeded torrent.

      I wonder if there's a way to notify the uploader / seeders to keep seeding?

      But, that's not what's been happening though. People are actually posting packs with random shit that has nothing to do with each other. Not only that, they're posting packs with 4,000 and 6,000 photos. No one human is going to sift through all those photos from one torrent (unless they're high on weed).

      That depends on the user. I never believed in "seeding forever." Nine x out of ten, I keep what I upload. If you want it, just ask for a seed. My problem is, there are a lot of "uploaders," (if you want to call them that) who upload millions of photos that are not humanly possible to go through. Sometimes they upload thousands of tumblr videos! Someone who's serious about downloading good content, is not going to sift through random shit. And I guess since it's so hard to find good uploader, the admins allow it. But, personally, that pisses me of.

      -AOS

      Some of us like the posts that you don't. I am sure I would dislike some of the content you like. We all have different tastes. The great thing about this site is there are postings for all. None of us can say what is good content for others. Find it odd you want admins to ban stuff you don't like. Personally, that pisses me of.

      It has nothing to do with taste! It has everything to do  with common sense, and being practical. If this site was brand new, I would have suggested adding a new "Packs" category; or perhaps a webrip/tumblr category; so that it doesn't mix in with other stuff.

      Also, the administrators don't deserve a hissy fit.  When they promote (recycle) a torrent, they can't judge whether people will continue seeding that torrent.  The rules only guide the original uploader to keep seeding until three people have grabbed the file.

      It would be polite for seeders (of any torrent, recycled or not) to keep seeding if they're the only one seeding and there are leechers waiting for the file.  That's probably too much to ask most users.

    • Being A Gay Pirate Can Be Lonely…. I Think.....

      You know, I'm really not sure what it is. Maybe it's a combination of a number of things. Let me start off by saying, I've been a pirate for well over twenty years. My first pirate experience (technically) was when I was exposed to Electronic Bulletin Boards BBS, using Procom++ with dial-up. Yes bitch…. I said dial-up!! 🤣 I progressed to CompuServe, AOL, USENET, link services such as Rapidshare, and eventually, I discovered torrents. I fell madly in love ever since. One of the things I was most attracted to, was the rich forums, that were filled with people of like mind. Not only was it wonderful speaking to other pirates, they were knowledgeable, well informed, and huge fans of something. Fans of what? Well, you name it! Books, games, movies, and classic movies too. Not just classic movies, but obscure movies as well; a community that worked hard to share out of print material we would NEVER be able to obtain otherwise (even on a retail level). I gotten my first experience of this through Demonoid. After Demonoid's last DDoS attack, it was really massive. We thought it would never comeback. But, now that it is officially back, that magic is now gone forever. It's now a site equivalent to 1337x (without the forums).

      After the death of the original Demonoid, and because I am a classic buff, I realized that it was necessary to register with some private trackers. Unfortunately, they were (and still are) the best places to go when you're looking for obscure content not found on public trackers. Now, not trying to compare other trackers to Demonoid; however, the differences are so drastic, it's impossible not to. Private trackers have not only became extremely elite, they've become so difficult and complicated to get in to, it's maddening! Many trackers now have an "application process." I've seen one where you had to study documents and answer a 30 minute questionnaire, just to make sure you understand "what torrents are." when you finally get into a tracker, there are so many rules it's impossible to follow. Sometimes the rules are so bad, the only thing you can do is log in and log out.

      Private bittorrent trackers today are nothing but business. They all claim they want donation money to "help pay for servers." But in reality, almost all are following IPT's "donation model." In side the forums are literally flooded with newbies, and many of the staff don't know a lot of shit either (sorry to say). Just because someone is a staff member, doesn't mean they have basic computer knowledge (or even updated knowledge for that matter). The conversations on these forums are so horrendous! Conversations that are so unbelievably rude it's ridiculous! I'm not kidding! 😳 Staff members that are so rude, they will ban you for the smallest, and dumbest of things. Yet, the beg for donations.

      However, and I'm not kidding, I haven't (so far) experienced that level of chaos and disorder with any of the 4 major gay trackers I'm on. Now, that doesn't mean there's no drama; I've just never seen the level of drama and stupidity on gay trackers as there are on str8 ones. The only downside to gay trackers is that you can only upload gay themed content. Which kind of sucks, but yet, I also understand the need for it. But, on the other hand, I can't understand why some "gay" trackers allow str8 porn? Yuk!!! Even more baffling, I've seen some men there who identify as "STR8?" I don't think so!!

      So, the one major thing that gave me purpose to visit a tracker (there forums) is now gone. I think I now see why people don't generally participate in them anymore. This is incredibly sad in my opinion. The only category in those forums that seems to always be heavily active are the "requests." Getting people to seed is another matter.

      Bottom line, I think I have finally given up on my quest for a drama free private tracker. It's just too much fucking trouble. I've collected some major public trackers, I've used them to setup my Sonarr/Radarr and that's it!! I'm keeping my four gay private trackers, and about 3 str8 private trackers for my regular movies. And I guess it's just........ Fuck it!!!

    • RE: Why all the lies?

      @raphjd:

      I just re-watched Tucker Carlson interviewing AOC supporter and advisor, Cornell Law Prof Robert Hockett.

      Tucker mentions things from that document that was posted on AOC's website, like a living wage even for those who refuse to work.   Hockett, like you would expect, denied that the document existed and that the entire MSM was against AOC.  We know that AOC eventually admitted the document was on her website and said all the things MSM claimed, but she blamed an unnamed low level staffer, as they do.   We later found out that this was their actual document and it wasnt some idiot low level staffer's fault.   They lied because they thought that everyone would agree with it, but even fellow Democrats were against it.

      Why did Hockett NEED to lie?

      Even with things that AOC still pushes, Hockett lied about to make it sound less authoritarian than what the document and AOC, herself, says is her plan for the "Green New Deal".

      Again, why does Hockett NEED to lie?

      Shifty Schiff told the world that he had absolute proof that Trump colluded with Russia, but to date still refuses to show us what it is.   Why the NEED to lie?

      Shifty Schiff lied about he and his staff never speaking to the whistle blower.    Why the NEED to lie?

      Chris Cuomo famously lied and said it was a federal crime for anyone not in the media to read Wiki-leaks.  We could only get our info from MSM twats like him   Why the NEED to lie?

      You can say that conservatives have lied as well, but liberals claim to be the good and honest people.

      AOC is a dizzy bitch. Any article or TV featuring that bitch, I change the channel. I can't believe we have such people working in office. If the American people can't see that the democratic party has lost their fucking mind, we are truly in deep trouble. And we are!

    • RE: Upconverting DVD to HD

      @BOSS333:

      @gouryuu:

      Upscaling a SD video and adding frames to make it 60 fps interpolated, (sorry is someone feels ofended) that's bullshit.

      It has no sense, you won't get better quality by doing that, you will just get a bigger file size.

      The reason why there are old films restored to HD/4K versions and they look really good, it's because those films (of big studios, with big budget generally) were recorded in 35mm, 65mm and 70mm films stock, the way image was saved in those films stock was completally different from actual digital cameras.

      But if you don't have those original films stocks, you won't get better quality from an DVD image.

      The best you can do, as eobox91103 says, is to let televisions use their own system to adjust the image, if the video you're playing has good quality (for example a well encoded SD video from a DVD source) it will look better than those upscaled videos, even if it's not HD.

      (Hey AOS, good to see you here too)

      I don't see how much the discussion relates to film restoration and digital film stock scanning… I agree and it is true that upscaling high-quality SD content and adding interpolation frames to make it "high-frame rate" is definitely not going to make a meaningful difference, but will likely just make the picture more muddy and janky.

      However, this needs not be completely true for all types of old, lossy-encoded digital content.

      Just think about all the MPEG2 encoded videos that were then re-encoded in mid-quality h264/AVC - in these cases, there often is a significant degradation in quality due to encoding artefacts (blocky frames, smeared uniform colour areas, uneven gradients and so forth), chroma subsampling and interlaced-to-progressive adaptation. Newer, smarter super-resolution algorithms are known to perform really good in ironing out these artefacts and in proving a much better perceptual quality - and one certainly does not need to go from 480p to 4K at all. In fact, some algorithms work like a charm even when targeting the same resolution of the input for the output!

      And yes, in the process we add some pixels that where not there before… yet that happens anyway when you watch a DVD on an HD television, just you don't know how it is done. I think it is better when the users have control over how upscaling/super-resolution is done.

      Once it is done, we can still re-encode it in h264/h265/AV1 and have a small file with nicer visual quality than before. Doesn't sound so bad to me!

      Some how "high-quality SD," doesn't seem to fit in this conversation. Many of the movies people want to "restore," are not even 720p. You'd be lucky to find 480p, as so many movies have been shaved down to such a small size in order to save space, something would really be mentally wrong with someone, who thinks they can restore that in "HQ." I really do hate these trigger words, "Upscale," "Restore," etc. These words have some who lost their meaning as new technology creates new placebo techniques, while changing the meaning of words like "upscale." This is what many "coders," don't understand. These people probably do this because they want attention, or perhaps accolades. But, in reality, a lot of it is simply a waste of time, and it contributes to the unnecessary explosion of codecs all over the place. Worse than trying to find over the counter cold medicine. There's too fucking many!!

      I liken this phenomenon (if you wanna call it that), to the whole 3D thing. People didn't understand what the fuck 3D actually is, and everyone thought it was so easy to convert any 2D in to 3D by changing it's container. But, people who ACTUALLY HAVE A 3D TV KNOWS THE F***KING DIFFERENCE! However, to those losers who seek attention, they see YOU as ungrateful. People need to stop this conversion obsession. You're not gonna get any more friends by making copies of these "upscale" files where there are no real major differences between them.
