Yeah, but I think you where in an entirely different situation. For me, I think I indirectly discovered BBS through my relationships with groups such as NYMUG and NYPC. I also had a few close friends that ran a few BBS. They were very exclusive, my friends wasn't playing any games. We understood we didn't have any high-level security back then (in terms of software), so the forums we had were very vulnerable. In fact we were still using D.O.S. back then.

Come to think of it, there was one movie I thought was hysterical, but I don't remember if it was fully gay tho. The movie was called "Relax, It's Just Sex (1998)."

As to your question as to why we can't find him. People may not believe but, it's incredibly hard to find a lot of information on Black porn. Are we talking about porn? Or non-porn? Well, I guess it doesn't really matter at this point, 'cause I have to agree with your concerning both of those areas. I've mentioned this before on various forums. Finding good gay movies are incredibly harder than trying to find good str8 movie. In terms of gay movies, either the script is horrendous, the acting sucks, or the actors are just too camp for my tastes, or the movie/tv shows are just too stereotypical and no originality. Gays are not a monolithic people!

These days, I don't even like taking movie advice from other gays anymore, I almost always end up being disappointing. I used to think that documentaries was the way to go, but even then they tend to be too depressing. However, I do embrace the truth in those documentaries tho.

However, recently I did enjoy a miniseries called "Man In An Orange Shirt," https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6255500/ That movie was a quality production, and it ravals big studio names. Great anctor and a story line. I don't normally like love stories, but that was a good movie.
