@fredfranco Your computer needs to download the file for you to watch, so it's always possible to get it.

Yeah the basic way is right clicking on the page, going to Inspect Element, finding the video and downloading. Usually when you can do that you can use extensions as well.

But yeah, lots of websites can block that. The workaround I found is you play the video, then you click Inspect Element, go to Sources, then you browse there until you find the video, and you copy that link. Then you go to VLC, Convert/Save, Network, then you paste the link there and it'll save it. It'll be pretty hard the first time on any website because the video might be hard to find, but still it should work. I also found that it's better to open the sources page, and then play the video, because then the part where the video is will load and appear there, so you can have a better idea of where it is.

@fredfranco yes.. but for the most part.. all Recu.me does is confirm that almost all the performers on CB are lame and never do anything

You will need a downloader like Tubedigger which is what I use, and yes you have to pay for it, but its worth it, been using it for years, works everywhere. It will download a separate video and audio file. You will then need to "mux" them together, and I use a free program called "Clever FFmpeg" for muxing. Works like a charm and only takes minutes 👍

@eobox91103 I use PrivateVPN. Not only does it mask the location to be able to do things like get Netflix in other countries, but it also supports port forwarding, which is necessary for proper use with our site.

All server locations forward at least ONE port, which you can use for your torrent client. On most servers it's a randomized port, which changes every time you connect, however they also have a list of servers that give you a dedicated IP address and forward ALL ports. For me, these dedicated IP servers are most convenient.

@frostycab you can actually make record audio from a specific process nowadays using specialized software, the major issue is still the screen and the hardware performance required to encode multiple streams without causing lag/frame drops and whatnot. It's pretty much unfazeable for most home computers.

@driftwood714 for starters I recommend wondershare uniconverter.

It's paid, but you can find it in any torrent site like 1337x or rutracker. It has a super easy to use interface, allows you to trim the videos if neccessary, and most importantly it's compatible with a lot of formats.

If you have a modern CPU/GPU you can use HEVC as your desired output format, as HEVC needs less bitrate to achieve a decent image, you can cut the size of your H264 videos in half using HEVC. Just bear in mind that different resolutions will always need more bitrate to preserve the quality.

If you need to reduce sizes too drastically you can also reduce the video resolution.
