@kakashi123 You are correct. And speaking from a place of helpful concern, members who continually make lengthy posts about this official site policy change, and dubious statements about copyright law -- they are riding a very thin line.

RE: Why Is This Happening?
I understand the perception that the site is "understaffed," but as background, I believe the Moderators and Helpdesk staff are unpaid volunteers.
I once considered taking on such a role, but felt that my overall (stunning lack of) computer skills would require too much remedial education before I became an asset, rather than a liability.
Along those lines, some members volunteer -- but quit in short order -- during the training. Others may not possess the "team" attitude or service orientation to deal with a never-ending stream of newbie questions (answered easily in the Rules section, but who reads these days?).
When all's said and done, I applaud any computer-savvy members who have the time and interest to volunteer. It would really help our site!
And to return to the thread's origin, I really appreciate Brad's citations -- I award him the rarely used bikini..!

@lololulu19 said in Site changes 7 March 2022:
@kalayaan I would love to know what the reasons are.
I understand your curiosity, lolo.
Was thinking it may be related to the increasing number of requests for material from "cam sites," which have become much more active in pursuing DMCA enforcement. Or, maybe I'm wrong.
But as @kalayaan noted, "The owner has his own reason(s) on removing that section." Which is to say, sometimes it makes good sense to keep your administrative or business issues off the website's public pages.
I'm grateful that for a small membership fee I'm connected to so many opportunities, even if it's not every item on my wish list.

RE: ID this guy on the cover of Bonfire of the Panties (straight porn)
@dziber As I have not already stated, you could afford to turn your snit-level down when someone responds in an attempt to help, even if you mentioned that search parameter before.

What if wrong with men.com ?
There's nothing essentially "wrong" with men.co-m, simply because you don't like the evolution of its content, or the marketing strategy.
You have the option of subscribing to gay content-only (no women anywhere) websites.
If you're on websites like Pornhub, perhaps first be grateful that you're able to access free content. Or here again, joining its Premium level probably eliminates the ads that you find so "gross."
And as an extension of @leeniedo 's remark, you can't really boycott a porn site when you're not a paying customer -- and would never be, given your dislike for it.

RE: What is with the hideous category icons?
@cuppednoodle I appreciate the effort it took to locate new imagery and assemble this full panel of proposed icons. As well, the B&W type effect is highly legible.
Many of these icons give me an immediate Aha! feeling, because the image clearly aligns with the category. With respect, a few of the icon images felt less connected, or had possible issues like "too dark" or "not quite a match."
For me, these would include BDSM, Black and Jock (dim lighting), Bears (needs hair), and "not quite a match" for Amateur (looks pro), Hunks (look like Jocks), and Youngblood (could be Daddies & Sons).
Again, these are one person's observations, overall it is very impressive work.

I'm sorry, but what type of nonsense is going on in this thread?
Upload your content one time if it's the same file/size. Doing it multiple times adds to the work of our volunteers, who will delete the copies and possibly put you on Warning or worse.
And @minhnguyen, why do you need to post a third-party Telegraph link if you have a file to share with the community? Understand, this is not a trading site.
Just follow our Uploading instructions:

And to quote Patsy from AbFab: "Yeah. Cheers. Thanks a lot."

Tahaass, you have only been posting for a week, and everyone has a learning curve. But it's clear you need to focus on reading and learning the site Rules, including how and when to access the site's Helpdesk.
Here, you make a public thread that should not exist -- it is handled privately by writing to the Helpdesk:

Good luck!

RE: Option like "newer than x weeks/months"?
@lololulu19 OK, I'll take a second from throwing together my last-minute taxes.
Leon has a total of two posts on our site, and his concept is not unreasonable, just a new look at how data could be presented.
Why must you be so aggressively unpleasant (in a response that is decidedly unfunny)?

RE: The Last of Us
I'll go out on a limb to say, I'm unaffected by how this does or doesn't match up to the ultra-popular video game.
I would just advise to see it. When the episode was over, I paused the TV and sat to take it all in.
What a portrayal by Nick Offerman (who is coincidentally married to the openly bisexual Megan Mullaly). Deeply moving.

Ah, I've noticed that you're very investigative.
Well, my university and career background is in Journalism. But anyone in gaytor can right click on a the member name in a post, or the User icon at top of page, and find lots of individual data, yes?
Not to mention the very intimate "Following" someone!

RE: Short Introduction Submit
@MadRingo Hi Ringo! Welcome to the site.
On this page -- https://www.gaytorrent.ru/search.php -- you can mark a "check" on search boxes for Asian, Comics & Yaoi, and many more categories. Thousands upon thousands of active uploads to browse.
To make your time here the most useful, just be sure you read the site Rules. For many new members, learning to manage your Ratio (essentially the measure of what you download vs. what you upload) is especially important in early days.
Nice to hear from one who embraces his older age. Have a great time!

RE: Takedowns
I appreciate the patience offered by the owner and moderators of this site, when new members are given a second and third chance to learn the rules and to behave in a manner that supports the site, and not actively disparages it.
Equally, I am at a loss to understand why a long-time member is permitted to post the same complaint more than a dozen times -- on a topic that is based on a site rule repeatedly explained to him and all members -- a topic that is now discouraged for further discussion -- along with his comments that would negatively impact new membership.

RE: Atlanta gay couple charged with raping & pimping-out their kids
@blablarg18 I have it on good authority that the moderator of this Board is a strong believer in "Nettiquette." Here, this means that an Original Poster should offer their own opinion first on a topic, unless they are doing specific research and don't want to bias the ensuing comments.
For starters, I'm curious. What do you feel is the relationship between this awful news on child abuse and Politics?
Well, hmm. I've encountered a few of your screeds that place LGBT culture and protections below -- oh, say -- church orthodoxy. Perhaps your silent point is that gay parenting is inherently in conflict with god's plan, and should be restricted by legislation?
But we really couldn't know until you answer.

RE: Pope Emeritus (aka former Pope) Benedict XVI dead @ 95
@eobox91103 I know you're not defending and sorry if my post or links made you believe otherwise. You're a constant source of reason. Thanks for sharing what must be difficult memories of friends impacted by this travesty and tragedy.
And agreed that the problem extends far beyond one individual or organized religion. I'm trying to hold to the thread, or we could go on until the Second Coming -- soon to be released on DVD with bonus features!

Reality is a vast mosaic, none of us get to see it all.
True enough for many aspects of life. But in the case of Ratzinger and his pedophile chessboard actions, advanced legal systems (from which he was well protected) try to ascertain whether guilt can be proven beyond a reasonable doubt. A judge or jury follows the demonstrable facts, witness testimony, etc. and arrives at a conclusion based on the preponderance of credible evidence.
I think it would help the discussion if there were some links or references,
I agree, brother eobox, so to my point above:

@blablarg18 Having you call my comment "dumb" is high praise, indeed, considering your vague and content-free deflections here.
I agree with raph's observation above, that Benedict was a "mean old bastard" -- odd that you are absent an opinion on that, as well.
Final comment on above: Good to learn that "A death at 95,,, shows lack of guilt." That's a triumph of religious mumbo-jumbo logic.
