      "House Democrat Leader Nancy Pelosi Gets into a Catfight with Maxine Waters live on C-SPAN Over Congressional Safe Spaces"

      Shortly after passing a measure to provide safe spaces in Congress for the African-American, Latino and LGBTQA caucuses–-so that they can meet and pass resolutions without having to be around their white Democratic colleagues for however long they choose---Democrat Leader Nancy Pelosi approached and assaulted Democratic Congresswoman Maxine Waters. Never backing down from a challenge, the loud-mouthed and often over-the-top Waters removed her James Brown wig and hoop earrings and proceeded to assault Pelosi in retaliation. Republicans watched in joy as the two Democrats fought over the pointless issue, which was raised by Congressman Jim Clyburn after he felt that his feelings were hurt by white Democrats in the House (he offered no valid reason for this). Both Congresswomen are expected to be fine with only a few facial abrasions; however, Waters is threatening to sue Pelosi over damages to her wig.

      "This wig was a gift," she exclaimed while softly stroking the wig as if it were a pet in the African-American Congressional safe space. "She had no right touching my wig. I took it off to fight her and she pulled a petty move by stepping on it!"

      "Screw her wig," said Pelosi while standing outside of one of the designated safe spaces. "She has to come out of that safe space eventually. The moment she does, I'm knocking the wrinkles off her face!"

      "You have wrinkles, too, you old hag," Waters shouted from inside the safe space.

      Since Democrats are currently on a crusade against the police, no charges have been filed.

      This kind of behavior needs to be discouraged on both the right AND THE LEFT. What happened to Ann Coulter is flat out wrong and indefensible and needs to be called out more. I cannot stand Ann Coulter and she is a real life troll, but threatening violence and riots to stop her from speaking is just as wrong as some right-wing nut threatening Democrat students in Kentucky. I saw many headlines about the Kentucky incident, but where is the outrage over what happened to Ann Coulter? I don't care that she says some of the dumbest things on the planet, she has a right to say them wherever she chooses and she was invited to speak. You do not go to college to be safe from the real world, you go to college to learn how to stand up for yourself the right way and use validity to argue against irrational people like Ann Coulter in the real world.

      "President Obama is the first president since FDR to be reelected to a third term thanks to PITA"

      Using the recently passed Presidential Incompetence Termination Act (PITA), President Obama has been elected via a direct popular vote to serve as temporary President of the United States until the 2020 Presidential election. PITA was signed by Obama's successor, President Agent J. Orange in the hopes that it would be used in case he were to lose his reelection bid; however, Congress used the act to instead remove President Orange from office given he was deemed incompetent by a consensus of professional psychiatrists following a horrific incident at Orange's Mar-A-Lago where five women mysteriously died and the White House tried to cover it up. Challenges in the court system led to the Supreme Court ultimately ruling 6-3 in favor of upholding PITA and the removal of President Orange. This makes Barack Obama the first president since Franklin D. Roosevelt to serve more than two terms as president. He will be selecting a new Vice President as well as a few key cabinet positions in the coming days since Article 5 in PITA calls for the immediate removal of the Vice President and those few key cabinet positions who served in the administration of the president being removed. President Obama takes the oath of office on May 1 and will celebrate a third Inauguration. Sources say it will be a star-studded event featuring many celebrities and longtime supporters of President Obama.

      "I hope we never have to use the PITA law again," said House Speaker Paul Ryan. "After what happened to those women at Mar-A-Lago, it was clear something had to be done; and since there wasn't any way to tie President Orange to those horrific events and have him impeached based on those horrific events, PITA had to be passed and used to remove him."

      "The number one goal of the Senate under my leadership," said Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, "is to block everything President Obama wants to do from now until 2020 the same way we did from 2009 to 2017. He may have won the direct special election with 88% of the vote, but that does not mean he has a mandate."

    • RE: 100 days: President Trump is twice as unpopular as President Obama

      @raphjd:

      It's almost comical how he is now downplaying the first 100 days benchmark, when he was the one who specifically made a contract and promise during the campaign about all the things he would do.

      Do you really want to go there?

      Obama promised to end no bid contracts, yet he used them.

      He promised to end GWB era spying on US citizens, yet he expanded it beyond belief.

      He promised to protect whistle blowers, yet he did the complete opposite.

      He played politics over equality for gays.

      It's a pretty long list of Obama election lies.

      Translate: "I know #45 is indefensible, but what about Obama?"

      Seriously? That's your response to the fact that we are stuck with a highly unpopular and arguably incompetent president? This is ridiculous and borderline childish at this point. With that said, I'm no longer replying to you directly because you have proven that you are incapable of forming valid arguments without constant deflection. It's so sad to be honest. I actually agreed with you on some things but it doesn't matter now. Deflect all you want, but there will come a time where #45's actions will cause something awful to happen and I could only hope you wouldn't look at the destruction he causes and say, "Well Hillary and Obama did…" If you do, you're exactly who I think you are.

    • RE: Facebook sucks and needs a class action suit against them

      @raphjd:

      On the other side, no one should be blocked for stating their opinions on something. I've seen people getting terminated for saying "BLM sucks" or "I hate Mexicans." How are those threats? I'm friends with a white man from my job who posted a short video about how BLM is ruining the black community and while I disagreed with him, I don't think it was right for so many people to flood his page with hate messages and then they got him terminated. He is not a racist and has eaten dinner at my house and I've eaten dinner at his. I tried telling the maniacs that and they threatened to get me removed, too, even though they couldn't. Facebook didn't even let him appeal it or anything. They just removed years of photos and other things he'd put up. It's not right and yes someone needs to file a suit against them. There is a huge difference between threatening people and stating opinions.

      But that is what liberals are like.

      On YouTube they do false DMCA claims knowing the system is built in their favor because YouTube is terrified of getting in trouble for failing to act on DMCAs.

      On other social media they flood the system complaining about hate speech.  Again they know the system is in their favor.

      YouTube has tons of videos that teach liberals how to do this.

      Finally, another thing I can agree with you on. This and our country's screwed up immigration system (if it can even be called that) I can agree with you on. Yes, this is strictly liberals' fault and it's messed up. I have never reported someone for calling me n*gger or anything like that BECAUSE ANYONE HAS THE RIGHT TO CALL ME THAT. Yes it will make them look ignorant and others will call them names back, but calling someone a name isn't a threat. Direct threats are not covered in free speech, so I only report people if they make a direct threat towards me on Facebook, Twitter, etc.; which has happened before.

      We've gotten to a bad place because of liberal hyper-sensitivity. I was in undergrad a handful of years ago and things were entirely different back in just 2011 and 2012. My school had plenty of conservative speakers and there were ZERO protests, no matter what that speaker had said in his/her career. Dr. Cornell West (yep that far-left basket case) came and spoke during my senior year and no conservative students protested, and conservative students aren't protesting now. So yes, I agree with you 100% that this is a serious one-sided problems. I do understand the need for some safe spaces but this hyper-sensitivity to FREE SPEECH has gotten to a dangerous level.

    • Fake News of the Week (April 20, 2017)

      Since so many users on here live in an alternate universe, maybe it's time I start showing more sympathy to them instead of trying to reason with them on a rational level. Starting this week, I will be posting alternative news stories weekly to show those users that it's okay to believe in a false reality where up is down and #45's hair is beautiful  :crazy2:

      In this week's "Post from an Alternate Universe": President Hillary Clinton brings the country closer to a Government Shutdown because she refuses to show proof that she didn't use aborted fetal tissue as a substitute for cheese on her ham sandwich during her Inauguration Day Hour 2 feeding. House Speaker Paul Ryan demanded President Clinton to submit documents proving she did not ingest any aborted fetal tissue on the day in question or ten days prior to the Inauguration or he will lead a Government Shutdown. With the country's obligations in jeopardy, one side is going to have to give in. Either the Republicans will drop their demands and continue to fund the government or President Clinton must provide substantial proof that she did not ingest any aborted fetal tissue on Inauguration Day or ten days before that day. With so much that could go wrong, one would think President Clinton would just give in to demands for the sake of the country. What do you think? Are the Republicans being unreasonable or do you believe there's enough evidence to back up their claims given President Clinton's stance on abortion?

      @mhorndisk:

      @royalcrown89:

      Okay, why did some people vote to say the Republicans created the KKK? That's just historically inaccurate. Democrats worked hand in hand with the KKK, especially the Southern Democrats/States' Rights Democrats who became the Dixiecrats. That's well-known and well documented history. This thread has gone completely  :crazy2: LOL. You got mhorndisk who believes Lincoln was on the side of the Confederacy and as usual raphjd trying to deflect what the thread is about. This is a hot mess  :crazy2:

      Also I did not ever say anything about Lincoln or the Confederacy.

      Are you not making the argument that the party realignments never happened and that the Democratic Party continues to support the KKK? So doesn't that mean Lincoln, being a Republican, was for supporting the Confederate flag the way Republicans currently are? You should clarify your points instead of spouting  :crazy2:

    • RE: Elderly black man gunned down on Facebook Live - BLM and race baiters silent.

      @raphjd:

      "Irrational" must be your favorite word, after "racist" of course.

      So, BLM is the the dictionary definition of false advertising.   They aren't concerned about ALL black live, just those of thugs killed by police, even when race baiting Obama sends in the FBI and nothing is found, like we saw in the Michael Brown case.   I'm glad you cleared that up for us.

      "Irrational" isn't my favorite word, it just describes 95-98% of your arguments perfectly. So does this  :crazy2:

      And I'm not sure what you're not getting, but I guess the best way to break it down for you is to explain: there are groups dedicated to ending black on black violence but those groups do not get covered in the media. There are thousands of community based groups that are focused on putting an end to black on black violence (they could use some help by people like you btw) and then there are groups focused on putting an end to state-sponsored violence and racial profiling committed by the police. My parents were volunteers in a group for many years that was focused on stopping black on black violence in neighborhoods on the "bad" side of our city, so please do not bring your "irrationality" into something you couldn't possibly understand. Systemic racism is very complex. So what does that tell you? It's going to take multiple organizations coming in from multiple angles to bring light to the problem and propose sustainable solutions. Also, if you're seriously arguing that systemic racism is simple and plays no role in black on black violence, then your arguments are more "irrational" than I previously thought.

      @mhorndisk:

      I mean honestly after Trump won

      Please do not overstate that win. Approx. 77,000 votes spread across 3 states may have been enough to give him the electoral college, but it did nothing for his 35-39% approval; hence why he hasn't been able to celebrate that small win since January and why there's so much infighting in the White House. Some "honeymoon" period he's having, right?  :crazy2:

      @raphjd:

      It's pathetic how liberals demand that we only talk about Trump.   Of course they don't want us to talk about what their side did for the last 8 years in the White House, because we'd see how they are massive hypocrites about Trump.

      Not true, if you want to have a debate over the past 8 years then how about you start a thread about it instead of bringing it into a discussion that has absolutely nothing to do with it. Once again, you're deflecting hence why I deem your responses irrational. This thread is about #45 supporters using the "idea" of someone who is not the president as a defense for his horrific first 100 days as president. Like I've said, talk about other stuff until you're blue in the face in an attempt to deflect and I'll continue to deem your responses irrational. Should my opinion of your irrational comments matter to you? No, they shouldn't. They obviously are since you're still getting so worked up about it. Are your arguments indeed irrational or is that just my opinion?  :crazy2:
