    • RE: PROOF TRUMP COLLUDED WITH RUSSIA

      @Frederick:

      @mhorndisk:

      Do you have proof Trump colluded with Russia? Maxine Waters went on radio today and admitted there is NOTHING.

      She has called for his impeachment multiple times over these allegations that he did collude with Russia, backtracking today.

      James Comey exonerated Trump 3 times, stating there was no collusion.

      The Washington Post reported that Trump in his recent visit with Russian Ambassador revealed highly classified info.
      -How would they know that? And why would Trump do that after repeatedly stating they were tapping him?

      I get it, a lot of you just don't like him because you don't like Republicans and Conservatives. He's neither of those, just using their name.

      Get over your hate for Trump. He's not a Republican. He's just using their platform. And the claim that he is colluding with Russia has after 9 months been proven to show no evidence whatsoever, so it's pretty much just dumb.

      The libtards are like the "Boy Who Cried Wolf".  They attack EVERYTHING Trump does, regardless of what he does.  If he builds a wall they attack him, if he doesn't build a wall they attack him.  If he doesn't fire Comey they attack him, if he does fire Comey they attack him.  If' he is soft on North Korea they attack him, if he is hard on North Korea they attack him, etc.
      Their constant stream of new attacks dimininshes and makes people forget about their previous attacks to the point where none of their attacks mean anything to anybody.
      If Trump watched the children having the annual Easter Egg Roll in the Rose Garden at the White House, "Auntie" Maxine Waters would call for his impeachment because he was disrespecting women by having the "EGG" used in such a frivolous and playful way.

      The libtards started out with very little credibility, and now have none.

      One other thing.  Just what is it that Russia could possibly do to influence the election?

      Russia gathered compromising information on Hillary Clinton and Donnie "loved it."  His own words incriminate the entire campaign.  This is only the beginning… Does anyone believe that Don Jr. would not have told his father that Russia wanted to help him get elected?

      With Donald Jr, releasing is own emails, how much more proof do you want?  He was at least thrilled to work with the Russians to put his father in the Oval Office.  Why does that not bother you?

      After so many denials, calling it a hoax and a witch hunt, coming from his father and from Don Jr. himself, Don releases an email chain that shows he knew the Russian government was interested in helping Trump get elected.  Instead of reporting it to the FBI, he said, "I love it."
      The President has been uncharacteristically silent.  Instead of tweets, we hear crickets.

      Actually Sandusky was caught in the locker room showers fucking a student by that ginger assistant coach.
      From Wikipedia"
      Mike McQueary( the ginge with the approriate name) testified.at the trial of Curley and Schultz that he was in the Lasch Football Building on the University Park campus on a Friday night in March 2002. In this testimony, Mike McQueary got the month and year wrong. On May 7, 2012, the AG's office corrected the date of the incident to February 2001, estimating it occurred on or about February 9.[30] McQueary testified he heard slapping sounds and saw Sandusky directly behind a boy whose hands were up on the wall in the men's shower room. McQueary was distraught, left the building, and subsequently called his father John McQueary, who told Mike to come over to his house right away and talk to him.[31]
      Remeber he went to Paterno, who did nothing.

      Umm, it was your fellow liberals who made voting meaningless.

      Even making non political, factual posts, such as the London Bridge attack was a single incident in two parts, got downvoted by liberals.   A generic description of the Trump beating up the CNN logo, for those hat hadn't seen it, was downvoted.

      The "baddies" started doing reputation as revenge and now liberals are crying about it.

      This voting thing must have some netiquette behind it that escapes me. I've already pointed out that for those of us with no reputation power, our vote does not affect the reputation power of the recipient of the vote.
      I have never interacted with wafflez on this board, and only saw a few posts from Drwas before he flew away. Calling downvoting a practice of the "liberals." isn't fair to those of us who have just begun to participate.  I'll allow you to respond if you would like, but then I am closing this thread.

      In a situation like that, if you had put your policeman's cap on, called out the user and warned him not to abuse the voting system, no one would have objected,  You obviously cannot downvote a post that contains no opinion.

      I wanted this petty shit gone months ago, but you guys didn't give a shit since it was your side doing it to the "baddies".    Now that both sides are doing it, you guys want it gone.

      If this shit stopped when I asked for people to stop it, then it wouldn't have blown up to what it is today.

      That may have been before my time here. I certainly cannot remember any administrator posts to that effect except for one "tone it down."  I have been participating in these threads because there is little else her right now.
      In the past two days, I posted twice on Donald Trump Jr and the recent revelations about his meeting with a Russian lawyer. Frederick responded to one post, I replied, and it died there.  The other was ignored completely. . Apparently everyone wants to indulge in petty shit.

      @raphjd:

      I'm not an EX-classic liberal, I am a classic liberal.

      I refuse to wear the liberal name tag because of what modern liberals have done to it.

      ++++

      Let's not forget the threads that called out conservative members, which were before this thread.    Would you have been happy if I punished those users?    I think not.

      One of the rules is about lying about other users and staff.  Twice no Sutie has publicly accused me of using my admin status to "dox" him.  The first time it was explained that it was info open to all.    Shall I punish him for it, like I did for the last person who did a similar thing?  Liberals would have a fit.

      Both sides have done many wrongs, but it's the liberals that are always crying for their enemies to by punished, while ignoring the sins of their own.

      Here you go again with your "shoe on the other foot" arguments. I do not pretend to speak for others, but as for me, if you explained to sutie that the voting statistics were available to all and how to access them, and he again accused you of doxxing him, then he should have been reprimanded.  As for my own topics calling out certain member's  BEHAVIORS, I felt I had no recourse since there had been no response to my reports to the moderator and the perceived abuses continued to escalate.  If I remember correctly, I did not use the offending person's name, nor did I attack them personally in the title of the topic, the OP or thread, only the manner they chose to express their opinions.  If you, as moderator, thought the topic to be inappropriate and closed it or even deleted it, I would not have minded, because at least I would have been assured that my message had reached its intended target.  Hell, I would have accepted a warning if it meant my message was heard.

      Now let me contrast the title of my topic complaining about mhorndisk with strangeloop's about Sutie.  I can't find mine exactly right now, but it  was something like "Replying to your own Posts," whereas his is "Sutieday surpasses Drwas as the biggest Troll on these Forums." Within my thread, I don't remember even calling mhorndisk a spammer, much less a troll throughout my entire thread. If strangeloop had started the thread with :downvoting has become Robotic, or some such thing relating to the offense rather than the offender, it would have been much less objectionable.

      I don't know if you can setup a send-only email account on this site or any other.  If not I suggest you setup a gmail account that you will never read but would use only as administrator of the forum.  I think if we could get answers to our reports to the moderator, even if they are just a few words, you would see much less, if any, complaints about your role as moderator posted publicly.

      Finally, again speaking for myself, I am not interested in having anyone "punished." The most I have sought was correction of behaviors that offend me and compliance with the rules to which we all  agree.

      Just don't vote. Boycott Voting!

      Just like in the US, many didn't vote because the choices were bad…. Now look who is in charge.

      But the way the system works, with your reputation power of 0, your vote literally does not count. Express your opinion instead.

      I didn't start this topic to whine about reputation power.  I started it to try to redirect the conversation back to politics

      WOW, a liberal finally telling another liberal not to hide behind downvoting but to actually say something.

      Didn't someone say that months ago?!   Oh wait, I did.

      I didn't start this thread to whine about about reputation power, I started it to redirect the conversation back to politics.  After I found out how the point system worked I argued for its boycott not out of protest, but to get those who are so pre-occupied with it out of our hair.

      Moderator hat on or not, your use of the word clowns to describe us is insulting.  Earlier today you called us loonies and addressed me as dearie when I misinterpreted one of your posts.  Frederick continues to use "moonbats."  While the pejoratives are mild, they are still demeaning.  If you review "Team Liberal's" you will see that we do not engage in such behavior.  And somehow. sutie's downvoting is a much worse crime!

      Now, as moderator, you can never hope to clear this board of its pettiness until you stop indulging in it yourself.  Lead by example.

      The fact (and I fully agree) that raphjd has been a dedicated volunteer for such a long time, simply makes the current situation of imbalance more regrettable.

      However – I don't implore persons for fairness after they have willingly assumed the mantle of governance.  It should be a "default" behavior, and if that individual excels, they will be remembered for their gift of impartiality.

      If they lose their fair-mindedness, are given many chances to right their course, and continue to act with inequity, then that failure will be their legacy.

      Very eloquent, but I fear a bit too grandiose for this forum.  We discussing the moderation of a small P&D board, not the renegotiations of the Paris Climate Accord.

    • RE: REPORT: Donald Trump Jr. Was Told of Russian Gvt Effort to Elect His Father

      None of Hillary's emails, by that I mean emails from her private server,  I challenge you to provide a link to or a copy of any of them. It was the emails of the DNC and of John Podesta that were hacked by the Russians.  By what twist of logic can you shift the blame to the victim. As for Bernie, if you are talking about the controversy surrounding his wife, we will have to see, but it has nothing to do withRussia.  You assume liberals are like cells in a single organism so tht if you hurt one, you will hurt us all.  Not true.  As for Comey, as it turns out wrote 7 memos, some of which may have contained classified information (perhaps classified retrospectively) at the confidential or secret level ( not top secret) The one memo that was leaked did not contain any classified material. Do you really think that Comey, who is lawyer and former deputy attorney general would leak classified information and then admit it freely under to Congress?
      Trump supporters are now grasping at straws. Loretta Lynch did not ask Comey to drop the investigation, as Trump did to Comey.  She just asked him to refer to it as a matter.  It was perhaps a politically motivated decision, but ver very far from illegal.
      You need to broaden your consumption of news. You don't have to believe everything you read, but you should stay informed.

    • REPORT: Donald Trump Jr. Was Told of Russian Gvt Effort to Elect His Father

      Donald Trump Jr. was told in an email that a meeting to obtain information damaging to presidential rival Hillary Clinton was connected to intelligence gathered by the Russian government to help elect his father, according to a report published in The New York Times on Monday.

      I know many of you will dismiss the reporting because it comes from the NYT, but this is the first public connection of the Trump campaign (Don Jr. no less) at the very least being willing to use Russian Intelligence to gather dirt on Hillary Clinton. At this point, it doesn't matter whether they directly received any useful information.  The very disposition to accept help from a foreign adversary shows a moral commitment only to winning. Don, Jared and Paul Manefort were prepared to sell American democracy out as end to that means.  SAD.

      Raphjd does not idolize Trump.  Like an ex-smoker who gets obnoxious whenever someone lights up within a mile of them, he is a self-described ex "classic liberal."  So allow me to put it terms he can understand.  He has been fair when he puts his police cap on, even if not publicly responsive.  It is still not clear which of mhorndisk's offenses resulted in his warning. However, when he takes the cap off he starts swinging his virtual bike lock, flaming and trolling with the best of them . Today he has used disrespectful diminutive terms like dearie and loony when addressing "liberal members."  On the very downvoting issue, he has publicly chastised sutie for it (without the police cap on) instead of dealing with it privately in an email.  He has alluded by pleas to the helpdesk, which clearly have blurred his vision.  He also has made it painfully clear that he is the highest authority in the entire forum and can only be overruled by the site owner.
      I will predict his reply will be short–-in essence that he has been attacked unjustly, again by a liberal. As long as he sees us as a cohesive group, which we are not, nothing will change.  Our only hope is for honest introspection on his part.  If he were to re-read his posts, he will see that we have a point.
      No one wants  to appeal to Joker, least of whom myself. Raphjd has been a dedicated volunteer for a very long time.  No one wants to diminish that.  But when it comes to this forum, those of us who are frustrated can only implore him to be fairer, and ignore him when he isn't.  Now please, everybody, let's get back to discussing politics.

    • RE: LEADER BOARDS: USER ANALYTICAL STATS on the POLITICS FORUM

      No one here, and especially not mhorndisk and Frederick seem to know how reputation power works.  It is not related at all by how we cast our votes, but depends totally on the votes we receive.  Since we all have very low to negative reputation power, our votes do nothing to improve or decrease  the reputation power of someone with a positive value.  It also does nothing to improve the negative values of our colleagues when we give them up votes.  Yet one down vote by one of you guys decreases our reputation by 60-70 points at a clip ( single vote by raphjd counts 475 in either direction).
      Therefore, as long as we hang around this forum, we will always be in the negative. Unless we start participating in other board and get upvotes from fair members our reputation power will not improve, unless we flood every board with posts, which I'm sure is not appreciated.  Yet the users already with positive reputation power can continue to grow their buddies score by simply upvoting.  Even if they are not in collusion, their similar views will perpetuate this trend.
      Any suggestion that a red bar indicates a troll is simply false.  In the fact the worse trolls on this board have long green lines.
      I realize that reputation power is part of the third-party bulletin board module used by the site and probably can't be changed, but perhaps reputation power can be hidden except for moderators.
