What good are the regulations and agency when none of it is enforced.
Exactly. The President should be calling for tighter regulations and stricter enforcement, not the opposite.

Dude, get off the nonsense that the President should be above that. We LIKE a REAL man who can get in the dirt and wrestle. Did you not watch Gladiator with Russell Crowe and Joaquin Phoenix where the Emperor himself got in the ring? Get off that stick. We don't care. You have a book of rules that you want everyone to follow. That isn't the way it works in life. We don't want some high above it Madonna who thinks they're above it. We want someone who is human. Someone who is imperfect and has faults and doesn't act like a GOD who doesn't need to answer to the people as though he is something superior. We LIKE that. If you don't, good for you. I've seen you make about ten posts about how he should fit your idea of a deity and since he doesn't fit your idea of perfection that he isn't good enough. Give it a rest. That isn't what we want anymore. The idea that you want to hold him to a higher standard doesn't degrade him either. He isn't a monkey to us. He is a man like US. He is HUMAN. He isn't some far off untouchable or immortal fantasy that you want us to believe in. That idea of yours, is pure fiction. This also lends us an idea of how you view Obama, as some supreme worshipful entity. No wonder you feel the way you do. To us, that is disgusting. You aren't going to make us wish or pray for some savior archetype to come along and act like your mother or father and pet you like a baby and wipe your butt for you and make you not have to worry about the smell. You guys don't understand personal responsibility and it's pathetic. Learn how to wipe your own ass, learn how to take responsibility, don't expect mother government to take care of you so much and learn how to be a man. It's pathetic to us. No offense.
It is not my book of rules or anyone else's. It is 250 years or history and tradition. I know you guys want to blow all that upp, but I don't agree.
So you proved my point? Trump cut all those ridiculous costs that were a total waste of taxpayer money…
I agree he is saving money. But the good laugh you had at Michelle Obama's expense was the definition of Fake News.
Well, we disagree on what the role of the President should be. But Trump's relationship with the truth is tenuous at best. He hasn't drained an ounce from the swamp, he has perpetuated with his cronyism, refusing to appoint anyone to any post, no matter how inconsequential, if they ever criticized him in the campaign, Not to mention the billionaire-glutted cabinet. While you guys are entertained with the mud-slinging, he is getting away with enrighing himself and his family at the taxpayer's expense.

I just watched the video and it's a cheesy edited copy of Wrestlemania where he beat up Vince McMahon.
Absolutely true. And I can't believe who down-voted you on that. If was sutieday, he should be ashamed of himself. But the origin of the video is besides the point.
REALLY??? I mean REALLY?? You take "Wellness Natasha" at her word but call CNN fake news?
http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/firstlady.asp
The 22 milion saved is from an article today in breitbart. I'll assume for the moment it is true, so here is where the cuts came according to them:
" Andrzejewski (pronounced And-gee-eff-ski) noted that there are now 110 fewer White House employees since Obama left office, saving nearly $5 million alone. Also, the First Lady’s staff has been cut from 24 staffers to only five. Michelle Obama entered the White House with a staff of 22 costing nearly $2 million annually, up from the $1.4 million spent during the George W. Bush era.
Another area of savings was the elimination of the so-called policy “czars” with which Obama stocked the White House staff. The Trump budget shows not a single “czar” employed for 2017.
Trump also seems to have ended Obama’s shady “fellowship” positions, people responsible for such special programs as Michelle Obama’s “Let Girls Learn” initiative and others. Some of these “fellowship” candidates in Obama’s administration made up to $158,000 annually."
Get real, man.
By upholding the dignity you mean "shut up, and let the media run over you with fake and fraudulent claims and obscene and absurd opinions." And I respectfully disagree.
I guess you can't read, or don't read my posts. I never said he should let unjustified criticism go unchallenged, I said he should delegate rebuttal to his surrogates and stay above the fray. But you, and I imagine many of his supporters, like it when he rolls around in the mud with his adversaries like two cheap strippers.
The US government is already assaulting reporters. That poor man in Montana was body slammed just for asking a question. This video is just one step closer to the government killing them. He is already singling them out on MSNBC. I bet Joe and Mika have full time security now. Luckily they can afford it. A NYT or WaPo reporter surely won't be able to.
if CNN is more worried about a joke meme than their journalistic integrity at this point then they really are fake news. theyre playing the victim hard core to deflect how fake theyve been.
Like a pit bull on a baby's leg, nothing is going to shake you off the unjustified "Fake News" bit. Whether it was inciting violence or not, the president should have better ways to spend his precious time.
So you think that fewer regulations would have prevented the problem is Flint?
Ok, let's look at the EPA and \flint.
Lead pipes have been illegal for several decades, but a sizable portion of Flint still has them. It's not city wide so MAYBE we can excuse it away. Oddly, the EPA seems to know how many buildings still have them now.
Flints entire water supply was extremely toxic for 7 years and the EPA did nothing about it. Using the EPA's own rules, they should have caught the problem within 2 years through regular testing. However, since Flint switched it's water supply, the EPA was supposed to test it every 6 months for the first 2 years of the new supply.
Both Flint and the EPA failed the people. Neither followed the rules that would have kept people safe.
Its failure to enforce regulations in one city or several is no excuse to elimante regulations and gut the agency.
Because then he would have to pay Hilton or Hyatt out of the funds raised. By using his own venue, the costs can be offset at the most affordable price. There's nothing wrong with that. Since 2008? Who cares? He did the work to raise the money, and you are trying to find some way to make this appear to be unethical or fraudulent when he literally raised millions of dollars for a hospital! It's nonsense!
First, if he received a discount at his own hotel, that is an in-kind contribution which needs to be reported. Second, you don't understand the issue with Eric Trump's fundraiser. Donald charged Eric to use the country club, the made up for those charges using Donald Trump Foundation money. But Donald Trump has not contributed to his own foundation since 2008. Therefore what Donald got from Eric's foundation he put in his own pocket, while the contribution back to Eric's foundation never came out of his pocket. Get it? If not, read all about it here:
I'm Surprised, so Trump supporters here to defend his various conflicts of interest?
Trump using his businesses to generate funds….while President.
If Trump used a hotel that had nothing to do with him, you'd still complain.
You are absolutely wrong. Even the "Fake Media" would stand up and notice and praise him for it. I also hate when you assume how I would react to any given scenario. You may know other members of this board well, but I have not been here long enough for you to come to pre-drawn conclusions.
For whatever reason, some states are refusing to prove they are obeying federal voting laws.
If this happened under Obama, liberals would lose their minds, more than they already have.
I do feel that some states are only doing this to cuck to the anti- Trump crowd and others are falsely playing the "states' rights" crowd.
I will give you a pass since you have lived in the UK for so long, but there are no federal voting laws, except the Federal Voting Rights Act of 1965 which was passed to outlaw practiced that disenfranchised uneducated, mostly black, voters.
Believe me, if any president tried to impose federal regulation of voting, liberals would have a cow, because these tend toward voter suppression.
Outside of the 1965 law, the states and only the stateshave control of who does and does not vote in their states, as long as they abide by the Constitution.
That's not the point. It doesn't matter how small or how large. Anyone who is engaged in it will be adamantly opposed to an investigation, and that's why you have these 29 states that are opposed. Because they ARE involved in it. It isn't about protecting people's public voting records from the federal government. It's about Trump enforcing the law, as he is the executive. It's about curtailing fraud. The fact that they are pushing against Trump investigating their potential voting fraud, and they're pleading the fifth, speaks VOLUMES. It draws us to the possible conclusion that Hillary didn't actually win the popular vote. Especially since it was recently uncovered that 1.5 million illegals used stolen SSNs to vote illegally.
Sorry, but gotta keep you honest. First, there are no federal laws regulating voters. The only federal election laws relate to campaign finances. Therefore, not only does Trump have not duty to enforce any laws regarding voter fraud, he has no jurisdiction over State laws. And although he may not be a conservative, conservatives strongly support states' rights. Also to suggest Mississippi has something to cover up is ridiculous. I found the case you cited, as well as two more that involved less than 50 votes. Sounds like they are doing a pretty good job.
They are not pleading the fifth, they are maintaining their sovereignty over their own data. I wouldn't be suprised if one of the states asked the Supreme Court to rule on the matter. I wouldn't count on the so-called conservative judges siding with Trump, either, given the whole states' rights thing.
Second your statement that 1.5 million illegals used stolen SSN to vote illegally is patently false. Yes, it is estimated that 1.4 million illegal immigrants used false SSN to get JOBS. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jun/22/14-million-illegals-working-stolen-social-security/ As it turns out, the IRS encouraged them to do so, in order to collect income tax on their wages. https://www.forbes.com/sites/robertwood/2016/04/13/irs-admits-it-encourages-illegals-to-steal-social-security-numbers-for-taxes/#1d58cf754c04
There is no evidence that they also used these numbers to vote illegally. Although, I admit, that is a legitimate concern. If Trump's commission was really interested in the truth, they would provide those numbers to the states and have them cross-check their voter rolls. That, I think would be a legitimate inquiry and could be argued was helping the states do their own policing more effectively. It must, however be left at the state level or completely reform the way we vote for president.
Lastly, the facile assumption that all illegals would have voted for Hillary is a stretch. Maybe some don't want more immigrants coming in and competing for their low-paying jobs. Some might believe he would create more jobs. Some, as strict Catholics, might be opposed to the Democratic pro-choice stance. There are very few groups these days that vote monolithically for one party or another.
Here's one article about Mississippi's admission of voter fraud (there are many):
http://thehayride.com/2017/05/mississippi-mayor-admits-voter-fraud-whats-done/
This is why Mississippi doesn't want an investigation. But like I said in my previous post, Trump don't care if you're a Republican or a Democrat or a Whatever. If you break the law, there will be consequences, and we need to clean up the mess. It's ridiculous that with our technology this is still going on. All the states that don't cooperate, have something to hide. You can say they're lazy and don't want to do a recount, but we know they're corrupt. They've been getting away with it for decades and this administration wants to do something about it. What's wrong with that? Why are you guys hating on Trump for trying to bring integrity to the election system? It's one of our checks and balances against the government. It needs to be fixed so we can be accurate and the people's voice is heard. I see nothing wrong with this and all you guys looking for something to blame Trump for are just lost souls looking for that which makes sense to the conclusions you've already drawn.
If there are many examples of voter fraud in Mississippi, you'd better do better than the one you cited. The mayor of Gloster, Mississippi, population 914, admitted to helping 25 people fill out their absentee ballot. I'm sure that explains why Hillary won the popular vote!
Uh, maybe he would have held the dinner at St. Jude's Hospital, where the Eric Trump foundation donated $30 Million dollars for kids to get free medical care… But I don't think people would want to dine at a hospital...? No sense.
You mean the fundraisers that Eric held at a Trump country club and was charged by the Trump organization for its use? Oh, don't worry, they replaced the money with a donation from the Trump Foundation. The only problem is Donald Trump hasn't contributed a dime to his own foundation since 2008. So he essentially used Eric's foundation to convert donations to the Trump Foundation into income for the Trump Corporation. He's right. He is very smart!
BTW, what's wrong with holding the fundraiser at a Hyatt or Hilton and avoiding even the appearance of a conflict?
Sometimes you gotta get down and dirty because that's the only thing people understand. You place your beloved media on a pedestal high enough that you will actually defend them, not knowing who they are, how they're connected, what they're promoting agenda-wise, and you even think more highly of them than the President, so what's the problem? You mad? Mad that he knocked their ego down a notch? Get over it. He's gonna crush them like the little bugs they are.
I am not defending Mika and Joe. I barely was aware of them before Trump's tweets. They are adults, I am sure they can take it. But it is highly inappropriate for the President of the United States to get "down and dirty." As I mentioned earlier in this thread, that's what surrogates are for. Let Sean Spicer go apeshit on them with a leaf blower. Have Tucker Carlson or Sean Hannity call them whatever you want, but the President should stay above it. Trump owes the country that to preserve the dignity of the office for those who follow him.
If you continue to download torrents and are only seeding those new torrents, your ratio will decrease initially, because you can download a lot faster than you can upload. You can try downloading some freeleech torrents, even if you don't want to watch them, because this will tend to increase your ratio. With a ratio of 1.4 however you have little to worry about. Eventually, things will reach an equilibrium.
No, some states gave all the requested information, some states gave some of the requested information, but states like California refused to comply 100%, because they are hiding their illegal actions. Quit trying to act like it's something else.
Look at the states refusing to comply:
"Ten states — California, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, New York, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Virginia — have fully rebuked Kobach’s call for voter data, including an invitation from Mississippi Secretary of State Delbert Hosemann in a statement of his own:
They can go jump in the Gulf of Mexico and Mississippi is a great State to launch from. Mississippi residents should celebrate Independence Day and our State’s right to protect the privacy of our citizens by conducting our own electoral processes."

I don't think you can argue that they all are trying to hide something.. They are evenly divided between Trump and Hillary states in 2016. You guys just eat up whatever is fed to you by the conservative press like a baby slurping oatmeal.

You are pathetic. White it is true that Hillary started the birther movement. She never got called out on it. (which is insane).
Additionally, in 2008.. Obama did NOT complete the oath of office on inauguration day because he did not say "so help me god". They re-did the oath the next day - in which he did say "so help me god" but on the 2nd oath, he didn't have his hand on the bible. Frankly, he never completed that oath the 2nd time either. In 2012, he said "so help me god" and had his hand on a book that he brought with him, not the traditional bible that every other president used. It was probably a copy of the Koran or an old Sears Catalog with leather cover.
First, that whole "Hillary started the birther thing" is BS. A minor campaign side in iowa suggested it in 2008, and he was promptly fired. The campaign never took it past that.
And there is no requirement for a Bible. President Johnson took the oath on Kennedy's Catholic prayer missal.
You and your ilk will do anything to denigrate the legitimacy of Obama, and we all know why. Look at the verb of the previous sentence.
