There is a big difference between military action in defense of our country and inciting domestic violence.  You can successfully argue that the video is satire or a joke, but there is no doubt that Trump has demonized the press.  There are many unstable minds out there who are just waiting for a minor justification for their murderous impulses.  Reporters are not as well-protected as our president.  It is only a matter of time before something bad happens.

Rumor has it that Trump himself leaked that one year–over 12 years ago--because it was the only year he paid taxes.
He took a $916 million dollar loss, most of which was with borrowed money that he could carry forward.  He went bankrupt on those loans, so essentially he used bank money to avoid taxes.  All perfectly legal.

And the Russia thing got an injection of new life.  A Republican operative, who says he was acting on the behest of Flynn, made contact with several Russian hackers in order to get Hillary's emails.  They were not successful ( contrary to Frederick's and mhorndisk's belief) and the Republican operative died 10 days after speaking to the Wall Street Journal. Just sayin'…

And Trump would never incite violence….

We whine about his tax returns because every president since Richard Nixon has released his.  There is no such precedent for states sharing their electoral roll data with the federal government

You are absolutely right.  Our Commander-in-Chief takes his role so seriously that he will defend only states that supported him in 2016.  If he could nuke the states the went for Hilary, he would do it himself.  So much easierr to get re-elected in 2020.

Your remarks support strengthening the EPA and its ability to enforce regulations, not dismantle it as Trump prefers.

I think the commission is entitled to publicly available information as long as they collect it themselves.  Any cooperation from the states represents a federal intrusion on our state-based elections. Even the president is elected on a state-by-state basis with the electoral college. Congressmen and Senators are also chosen in state elections. The founding fathers made it clear in the Constitution that the election of federal officials be controlled by the states. For some Presidents, including Bush and Trump, this has worked to their advantage.
Trump, to justify a lie about illegal voting, now seeks to consolidate his power by either suppressing Democratic voters, or weaponizing the information for his re-election campaign.  (The commission seeks information on political party affiliation and voting history)
The voter rolls are glutted with people who have died or moved out of the state, but this is not the way to clean them up.

If there already public, why doesn't the commission collect them themselves?

Frederick, you know we have a lot more against Trump besides his obvious conflicts of interest.  Actually I think he sought the presidency for two reasons: First to prove he could win, and second to improve the value of his brand and enrich himself and his family.  He has made it painfully clear he has no interest in governing.  He spends 5 hours of his waking hours watching news coverage of himself!

What possible good could come out of prosecuting Hillary?  Like I have said on this board multiple times, she is not Our Lady of the Liberals.  Even if she were convicted and imprisoned, the moderate to left movement would not be affected.  And Obama?  Get Real.  Name one criminal act he ahould be prosecuted for, and you had better back it up with facts.

That is actually true.. that's the 3rd mistake I've made this year!

However..  my message is still valid in that when the stock DOES start to slide, investors will blame CNN and heads will roll.

I'm glad to see you admit your mistakes.  I'll promise to admit mine too.  I think the discussion is cleaner and more enlightening when we stack to the facts.  As for Time-Warner, if it does merge with AT&T, the conglomerate will be so big that CNN could go bankrupt without it affecting the stock price.  Also, they probably would sell it off before it got to that point.
But I still would like an answer to my original question.  Your silence implies assent.

When the hormonal rollercoaster of a female kicks in, their inferior brains have great difficulty processing reality.  This is why women tend to make decisions that are not necessarily wrong, but made for the wrong reasons.  They are known to buy cars based upon the number of cup holders… buy computers based upon the color of the case... vote for a candidate based upon abortion rights, etc.

Anyway, since leaving office, Sheik Obama has been on a non-stop 7 month, ultra expensive, globe trotting vacation.  The man will do anything to avoid facing reality (and his husband Michelle).  At some point, it's going to sink in that he is the worst president ever, and their probably will never be another president as bad as him.  He is an expert at playing the "black card", but black people have a dim view of people that behave like pimped-out gangstas unless they are a pimped-out gangsta.  What's next?  Obama will get solid chrome wheels on his car and have them encrusted with diamonds, rubies, and emeralds?   Will he get a gold grill for his teefus?  Perhaps a wide purple felt hat with an ostrich feather in it.. with a vest made out of leopard skin?  Maybe he will dye his hair blonde?

No one has answered the original question of this post.  I will grant, for the sake of discussion, that Don Lemon is an ass and should be kicked off CNN.  Now let's get back to the original question:  Even if you thought their editorial choices were biased, did you trust the facts of the mainstream media before Trump?
