mhorndisk wanted an answer,  I gave him one.  He refuses to believe it.  The subpoena that she allegedly violated was from a congressional committee investigating Benghazi.  It asked for emails from her server related to that investigation.  It did not ask for every blessed email on the server.  If she had kept paper files her basement and they asked her to produce the relevant ones, she would not have to submit every file there.  here is the subpoena:

There is your answer.  I know mhorndisk will not accept it. Nor will he read the subpoena for himself.  He will rant and rave about Benghazi or Russia or the Clinton Foundation.  The FBI said she did not commit a crime.  What more do you want, the Spanish Inquisition?

Again, it true that the at least some of the emails were deleted after receiving the subpoena, but Hillary and her staff swore that they were unrelated to the Benghazi investigation.  Read about it on Politifact:

It asks for emails from her server that were relevant to the Benghazi investigation.  It did not ask for every email on that server.

The Russia story for instance, you guys have been dead-set on, now it's not even being talked about in the News. I will admit nothing has been proven about Russian collusion with the Trump Campaign.  The reason it is not being talked about is that we on the brink of a nuclear crisis with North Korea.  Trump and his cohorts are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, but the investigation is ongoing.  We don't hear much about it because Mueller runs a tight ship and will not tolerate leaks.
I can talk all day about Hillary deleting 30,000 emails.  The FBI said that while there probably were some work-related emails that were deleted, it was not done with malignant intention to obstruct or avoid investigation.
What, in your wildest dreams do you think was deleted?  Is she the queen of the NWO?  The fourth pillar of the trilateral commission?  That she was being bribed by the Saudi's or Russians or Norwegians?  What? What?  and more importantly, How the hell does it matter in July of 2017?
Do you think if she were proven guilty of some crime, all the liberals in the world would melt like the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz?  I really don't know how it matters now.  But we can talk about it.  What do you have to say except that she deleted 30,000 emails?  Huh?

What was he right about? That he would win the election?  Yes I admit he was right about that.  That Hillary is a criminal?  No I won't admit that.  Everyone in this country is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.  Not in the court of public opinion.  And the FBI did not even recommend an indictment.  So why don't you admit that you were wrong?

Obama set a high bar for Presidential behavior.  Compared to where Trump is now, that bar is about as high as that North Korean missile flew.  Even if CNN was the most evil news outlet on Earth, it is inappropriate for the president to be punching its effigy.  Could you imagine Obama tweeting a meme of him beating up a hooded KKK member?  Obama would never allow it.

Yet you want us to take your word for it as to what is true, but you seldom have anything to back it up except your own beliefs.  You did correct point to a NYT piece that reduced the number of agencies involved in the Russia intelligence investigation from 17 to four, and I also admitted that was true.  That did not make the entire story a hoax, nor the existence of the report generated by those four agencies. Yet you reject the findings of the report.  You reject anything printed in the mainstream media.  You don't even cite conservative outlets, like Breitbart. You rat on and on about conspiracy theories involving the Trilateral Commission and the New World Order, but don't even give references for those theories.  You just go on and on about whatever comes into your head and when someone does not acknowledge it soon enough with a reply, you post one yourself that adds nothing to the original post

I suggested you edit your posts to add addenda, not to correct typos, spelling or grammatical errors.  Criticizing you for that would be petty.  Spamming a thread with replies to your own posts, often several times in a row is just poor netiquette.

He actually said he would not make cuts to Medicare or Medicaid.  But do not confuse the two.  Medicare is for seniors over the age of 65 of those with permanent disabilities that prevent gainful employment.  Everyone contributes to Medicare through the Medicare tax, which is deducted automatically from your paycheck, so it is really a government-run insurance company.  Medicaid is for the indigent poor, children and elderly in long-term care.  It is funded by the states with contributions from the federal government.  These contributions were greatly increased with Obamacare in order to increase the number of insured.  It is that increase that the Republicans want to repeal.  They will argue that actual spending on Medicaid will increase slightly under the Republican bill, so it is technically not a cut, but it is far less than what would be spent if Obamacare were left untouched. (anywhere from 350 Billion to 700 Billion over the next 10 years)

Frederick, you have consistently accused me of spouting garbage, but I have consistently backed up everything with facts published, usually by independent, non-partisan groups, which is more than I can say for you and your partner in crime.  I have used the report button to complain about individual violations, like you continuing to play with my username after being warned, and to report mhorndisk's off-topic, multi-self posting rants.

It is you and he who are uninterested in facts and see this forum as some sort of privileged private sounding board.  I'm sure you have seen the list of last week's posts.  Do you sincerely think that represents a discussion board?  Personally, I feel mhorndisk is sincere in his far-right radicalism, but I think you just enjoy flaming and trolling.  You always end up calling your critics stupid or pussies or lesbos.  Before it was banned you were one of the worst offenders with the "-tard" epithet, and even posted a topic  "If not "lib****, then what?" which closed by the moderator.

Lastly, if I wanted to go over raphjd's head, I would have done so already.  I have not and do not plan to unless forced. He is a volunteer in a thankless job, and he has been doing it for a long time.  I respect him for that.  And believe me, I do not find the views that are counter to my own offensive.  If I did, I would not be advocating true discussion. It is they way these views are presented, the way opposing views are rebutted and the clear disregard for true debate that I find frustrating.

I have confidence that raphjd will provide leadership here. I am not threatening him, but  if I do decide to appeal to a global moderator or the boss, I will do so without judgement and simply ask them to review this forum to see if it is consistent with the site's "mission."

It appears mhorndisk has taken the day off (I personally think his fingers are cramped from overuse).  Maybe you should too and allow the rest of us to reboot.

Boy, Mr.  Mazda, very impressive but soooo over my head.  I currently have cable with (according to Speednet 75mbit down and 10 up.  I have never been able to seed more than 1.4 mbit up no matter what I do.  I have forwarded ports properly.  My gist of your post is that is the limitation of the technology.  But my question is more direct. In my torrent client, should I set uploading bandwidth to unlimited, some finite number or let utorrent automatically manage it?
BTW, I will be changing to Fios gigabit service in a few days. They claim to offer a gigabit down and a gigabit up. what setting in my client would be preferred in that situation?
